Widget on i phone

what widget icon on i phone for? why is it blank. do I have to add something before it can be use

you must have a phone that was jailbreaked by a previous owner who then installed widgets. A phone that hasn't been hacked does not have this so you can't discuss it here I would aver.

  • Can't insert custom HTML or change social widgets to update Phone layout

    MUSE 2014.2.1.10, CL 787362  on  Windows 8.1  i7 processor 24 GB RAM
Anytime I try to insert custom HTML in the phone layout pages I get a window that says webpage could not be found  in a window that is too wide for the screen size and can't be re-sized!!!
I am adding scripts, inline css and custom form code.  Need to republish changes and can't on mobile layout.  Its local code but I get The webpage cannot be found error!!! It also does this with the built in social widgets....  The code is there in the page on export but you can't preview and since I can't resize the box to 380px wide ( it jumps back open) it throws off my layout when export page.   This is not just custom HTML but upon changing or adding any of the built in social widgets such as Google maps, Facebook or  other social media.  Forms, buttons, menus and compositions no problems... they work just as they normally would.
Preview mode just gives me the whole page as blank when I try to preview the page in Muse.  HELP  I need to update the address and the form to match the desktop site but the error is persistent! and undo does not revert it back to previous content  I just get the webpage cannot be found box even on undo!!!!

The SECOND picture in my previous post  IS THE PREVIEW... NOTHING appears when I try to view the page in phone view!!!!
    HERE IS THE CODE!!!!!

  • Widget to Take Phone Messagesn Names & Number?

Is there a Widget that you can take a Name, Phone Number and message like the old pink slips we used to use?
Would also be great if we could save the name and Number to our address book.
    Does anything like this exist?

it will depend on if the line has been released by the previous provider back to BT there is an agreed hand over procedure which does take time many times users just leave and do not cancel the service with there provider so the line cannot be used by another provider until a fixed time period has elapsed

  • Widget to Take Phone Messages, Names & Number?

Is there a widget that would be similar to the phone message pink slips?
This would be a HUGE help and even better if the name and phone number could be saved to the Address Book.
Hopefully there is one, if not hope the Apple Geeks will make one.
    Thx

"receive at" is the email address? not a phone number?
Not sure what you are trying to say but If you are using the same Apple ID at the top of the Receive At page on both phones you will have problems keeping the identities separate when sending messages.  If you do, you need to change the Apple ID on one of the phones as described above.

  • Tablet form widget not working, phone and desktop form widget working fine. What's wrong?

    Hi,
Tried deleting tablet widget, and created fresh form widget, no luck. Tried copy -paste from desktop in tablet, no luck.
Anyone, any ideas what could be wrong?
Only receiving the desktop and phone forms at the moment.
    Thanks

Since you have a jailbroken iPhone (which you stated in a previous post), this is not the place to come for help. "Try a Restore in iTunes," is the advice you'll get here.

  • Accordion Widget on Tablet or Phone

Here is a problem or flaw.  If you deploy an Accordion Widget on an phone or table MUSE site, and a user opens one of the Accordion tabs and scrolls to the BOTTOM of its contents.  Then if the user opens the next Accordion tab, that one automatically opens at the BOTTOM of its OWN contents, which is very confusing to users.  There needs to be a DEFAULT SETTING such as "Always open at the top of the contents."
Does anyone know of a workaround for this bug?

Hi, this is the BC forums, you probably want to post this in the Muse forum for the Muse team as this is releated to a feature of that not the BC platform itself.

  • Nokia N8 - Widgets not trusted to access phone use...

Recently I have come across similar issue as the current topic of "Communities/Social/ Facebook" problems of "Please uninstall and reinstall communities" error message. This not only affected my Social widget, but various other widgets on the screen (I have a Nokia N8-00)
I have noticed that this problem is to do with the phone not trusting WGZ widgets anymore to access user data (Which is what Social/Communities/Facebook is). Had this issue after I rebooted my phone and any widgets that required access to my phone's data (eg. Battery Monitor, MEMINFO, Coming Next etc) stopped working entirely or came up with no information.
Even after trying to delete these widgets and re-enabling them, it will ask "Do you wish to allow this application to access your user data?". Even answering OK, this is still not working.
Can Nokia please investigate this broken trust between the Widgets and accessing phone information?
    Thanks!

    I'm having the same problem.
my RSS feeds don't get data and other issues, seems to have started after the Social Networking update I installed over the air.

  • Problem with phone layout when I insert the Accordion widget ( since iOS8 )

    Hello,
The problem appears after I insert the Accordion widget. The phone scales down the entire site, and there are no "lost" or hidden objects in the project. ( screenshot attached ) . This layout worked well before the second October Muse update.
I have tried a totally new basic website and had the same problem. The accordion takes the screen width.  I have tried to make it smaller then the phone layout, but it remains small.

I am very happy for any possible response,
    Thanks,

  • Basic Composition Widget HIDE TARGET on CLICK not working on PHONE layout?

Hi all this relates to behaviour with basic Composition widget when in PHONE layout - When all elements set to HIDE TARGET on CLICK in the PHONE layout a 'click' on the target does not hide it...
    APPLICATION
Using a basic composition widget [single trigger] for the PHONE menu drop down.
Everything works except clicking on an item in the target area does not hide the target.
Important because I am kinking to anchors on the same page - the links all work - the page scrolls behind the menu!
It's PHONE so can't use Hide on "Roll Out"

    Hello,
You would need to make sure that all the containers (Targets and Triggers and the Container inside which the Triggers reside) have a reduced width in order to have a reduced width of the whole slideshow.
In case you are still facing issues, please provide us some screenshots where we can check the issue.
You can also contact our chat support using the steps mentioned in the article : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/support-options-muse.html

  • I can't get the music on my phone to play in my car any more: It played fine before the latest update, now when I hit the MP3 button on my car radio, it says "No Media found"

Before the last update, I was able to play the music on my LG 2 over my car stereo system via blue tooth.  A week ago I attempted to play my music in the car while on an 8hr drive and it wouldn't play.  Normally, I select the music widget on my phone and then press the MP3 button on my car stereo and the music plays in the car.  This has happened since the last update.  Did the newest update (a month ago) change something that is keeping my music from playing in the car now????

right, figured it out. had to put it in disk mode, then reconnect, then it was recognized, then i restored and put everything back onto it. hope this helps anyone else who has a similar problem

  • N8: Email widgets stop responding

Having the following issue with my N8, and wondering if anyone has a solution:
Once in a while, email widgets stop auto updating and responding to taps.  Nothing happens if I tap on a widget - no email displayed, no error message.  It doesn't show new messages until I manually open email application and check the corresponding mailbox.
The only way (or so it seems) to fix this is to remove all email widgets, reboot the phone, then add widgets back.  A simple reboot does not work.
Since this problem happens every 2 or 3 days, it's becoming quite a nuisance.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    -legalalien
P.S. BTW, I've noticed a few places where N8 applications show no error message and instead do nothing (e.g., when I select Go to Music Store).  Very annoying.

Neither the widgets nor the mail when accessed responds.. but strangely the mail account (over the browser) does show the mail being read/accessed..
I have been trying to remove the mailboxes.. but they seem to be taking an awful lot of time.. ( with widgets go offline mode )
Can any software developer from the NOKIA team shed some light on this.. before I plan to move on to a better working phone..
It sucks to have a flagship phone which behaves like this.. Why doesn't  NOKIA test their products before putting them in the market..
    Best wishes.

  • Multiple mail widgets on N97 initial screen

I have various e-mail accounts I want to monitor separately so I created the email accounts on the mail programm. The problem is that in the initial screen I can not add more than 1 email notification widget.
Is it possible to force the widget to monitor more than one account?, or add 2 or more mail widgets?

The phone will “real time” monitor two email accounts for you in terms of notifying you when you have new messages. I don’t believe it’s possible to have more than one email widget. However, I downloaded and use the Nokia Messaging program for my email accounts. In this way, I can have one account on screen, but if I open the widget, in the top left corner of the screen of the current inbox you will see an envelope icon. When you press on the envelope it will show your other email accounts (which you set up through Nokia Messaging) which you can press on and thus switch to. http://email.nokia.com/account/home.action Hope that helps.

  • Apple phone as clicker?

wouldn't that be cool? being able to read your notes on the screen as you go through your presentation and also being able to use a quicktime-like slider to go to particular slides?
not really on topic, I know, but still, wouldn't that be useful? I think they said it had bluetooth... should work.

I'm not certain it has that much OSX power. Most of the enhancements seem to be about the same capability as Widgets from Dashboard, but that's not too shabby.
That means if you can make a widget that lets you control the functions of keynote, and they release a driver that lets you send information from a 'computer' widget to a 'phone' widget, then you should be able to set this up.
About the only 'programs' I have seen on the interface is the calendar and safari, and perhaps the address book, as well. Even then the address book and calendar couldbe widgets.
We shall have to see, but at least they didn't formally release a "Mac OSX CE" version, just integrated the system with the hardware.
I am, however, interested to see if this thing can handle pdf files, and may consider some iphone-specific templates for the future. That would be darned interesting.

  • Where do I get Apple Widgets?

Can someone tell me were to find Apple Widgets for my iphone? I do not own a Mac computer but still would like to download widgets for my phone. Is this possible or not.

There are no other iPhone widgets except for what is on the phone allready, apple does not allow and suport this yet, all you can use are web applications

    # The advantages include: tape drive is more likely to operate in streaming
    # mode (which reduces tape and drive wear, reduces total dump time); multiple

    #                 Default: [auth bsd]
    #   comment     - just a comment string
    #   comprate    - set default compression rate.  Should be followed by one or
    #                 two numbers, optionally separated by a comma.  The 1st is
    #                 the full compression rate; the 2nd is the incremental rate.
    #                 If the second is omitted, it is assumed equal to the first.
    #                 The numbers represent the amount of the original file the
    #                 compressed file is expected to take up.
    #                 Default: [comprate 0.50, 0.50]
    #   compress    - specify compression of the backed up data.  Valid values are:
    #                 "none"        - don't compress the dump output.
    #                 "client best" - compress on the client using the best (and
    #                                 probably slowest) algorithm.
    #                 "client fast" - compress on the client using fast algorithm.
    #                 "client custom" - compress using your custom client compression program.
    #                                   use client_custom_compress "PROG" to specify
    #                                   the custom compression program.
    #                                   PROG must not contain white space.
    #                 "server best" - compress on the tape host using the best (and
    #                                 probably slowest) algorithm.
    #                 "server fast" - compress on the tape host using a fast
    #                                 algorithm.  This may be useful when a fast
    #                                 tape host is backing up slow clients.
    #                 "server custom" - compress using your server custom compression program.
    #                                   use server_custom_compress "PROG" to specify
    #                                   the custom compression program.
    #                                   PROG must not contain white space.
    #                 Default: [compress client fast]
    #   dumpcycle   - set the number of days in the dump cycle, ie, set how often a
    #                 full dump should be performed.  Default: from DUMPCYCLE above
    #   estimate      Determine the way AMANDA does it's estimate.
    #                 "client"      - Use the same program as the dumping program,
    #                               this is the most accurate way to do estimates,
    #                               but it can take a long time.
    #                 "calcsize"    - Use a faster program to do estimates, but the
    #                               result is less accurate.
    #                 "server"      - Use only statistics from the previous run to
    #                               give an estimate,
    #                               it takes only a few seconds but the result is not
    #                               accurate if your disk usage changes from day to day.
    #                 Default: [client]
    #   encrypt  - specify encryption of the backed up data. Valid values are:
    #                 "none"   - don't encrypt the dump output.
    #                 "client" - encrypt on the client using the program specified by
    #                            client_encrypt "PROG".
    #                            Use client_decrypt_option to specify the decrypt-
    #                            parameter, default is "-d".
    #                            PROG and decrypt-parameter must not contain white space.
    #                 "server" - encrypt on the server using the program specified by
    #                            server_encrypt "PROG".
    #                            Use server_decrypt_option to specify the decrypt-
    #                            parameter, default is "-d".
    #                            PROG and decrypt-parameter must not contain white space.
    #                 Default: [none]
    #   exclude     - specify files and directories to be excluded from the dump.
    #                 Useful with gnutar only; silently ignored by dump and samba.
    #                 Valid values are:
    #                 "pattern"       - a shell glob pattern defining which files
    #                                   to exclude.
    #                                   gnutar gets --exclude="pattern"
    #                 list "filename" - a file (on the client!) containing patterns
    #                                   re's (1 per line) defining which files to
    #                                   exclude.
    #                                   gnutar gets --exclude-from="filename"
    #                 Note that the `full pathname' of a file within its
    #                 filesystem starts with `./', because of the way amanda runs
    #                 gnutar: `tar -C $mountpoint -cf - --lots-of-options .' (note
    #                 the final dot!)  Thus, if you're backing up `/usr' with a
    #                 diskfile entry like ``host /usr gnutar-root', but you don't
    #                 want to backup /usr/tmp, your exclude list should contain
    #                 the pattern `./tmp', as this is relative to the `/usr' above.
    #                 Please refer to the man-page of gnutar for more information.
    #                 If a relative pathname is specified as the exclude list,
    #                 it is searched from within the directory that is
    #                 going to be backed up.
    #                 Default: include all files
    #   holdingdisk - should the holding disk be used for this dump.  Useful for
    #                 dumping the holding disk itself.  Default: [holdingdisk auto]
    #                 "never"    - Never use the holding disk.
    #                 "auto"     - Use the holding disk if possible.
    #                 "required" - Always use the holding disk.
    #   ignore      - do not back this filesystem up.  Useful for sharing a single
    #                 disklist in several configurations.
    #   index       - keep an index of the files backed up.  Default: [index no]
    #   kencrypt    - encrypt the data stream between the client and server.
    #                 Default: [kencrypt no]
    #   maxdumps    - max number of concurrent dumps to run on the client.
    #                 Default: [maxdumps 1]
    #   maxpromoteday - max number of day for a promotion, set it 0 if you don't
    #                 want promotion, set it to 1 or 2 if your disk get
    #                 overpromoted.
    #                 Default: [10000]
    #   priority    - priority level of the dump.  Valid levels are "low", "medium"
    #                 or "high".  These are really only used when Amanda has no
    #                 tape to write to because of some error.  In that "degraded
    #                 mode", as many incrementals as will fit on the holding disk
    #                 are done, higher priority first, to insure the important
    #                 disks are at least dumped.  Default: [priority medium]
    #   program     - specify the dump system to use.  Valid values are "DUMP",
    #                 or "GNUTAR".  Default: [program "DUMP"].
    #   record      - record the backup in the time-stamp-database of the backup
    #                 program (e.g. /etc/dumpdates for DUMP or
    #                 /usr/local/var/amanda/gnutar-lists for GNUTAR.).
    #                 Default: [record yes]
    #   skip-full   - skip the disk when a level 0 is due, to allow full backups
    #                 outside Amanda, eg when the machine is in single-user mode.
    #   skip-incr   - skip the disk when the level 0 is NOT due.  This is used in
    #                 archive configurations, where only full dumps are done and
    #                 the tapes saved.
    #   starttime   - delay the start of the dump?  Default: no delay
    #   strategy    - set the dump strategy.  Valid strategies are currently:
    #                 "standard" - the standard one.
    #                 "nofull"   - do level 1 dumps every time.  This can be used,
    #                              for example, for small root filesystems that
    #                              only change slightly relative to a site-wide
    #                              prototype.  Amanda then backs up just the
    #                              changes.
    #                 "noinc"    - do level 0 dumps every time.
    #                 "skip"     - skip all dumps.  Useful for sharing a single
    #                              disklist in several configurations.
    #                 "incronly" - do only incremental dumps. This is similar
    #                              to strategy 'nofull', but will increase
    #                              the dump level as usual. Full dumps will
    #                              only be performed when an 'amadmin force'
    #                              has been issued
    #                 Default: [strategy standard]
    # tape_splitsize - (optional) split dump file into pieces of a specified size.
    #                 This allows dumps to be spread across multiple tapes, and can
    #                 potentially make more efficient use of tape space.  Note that
    #                 if this value is too large (more than half the size of the
    #                 average dump being split), substantial tape space can be
    #                 wasted.  If too small, large dumps will be split into
    #                 innumerable tiny dumpfiles, adding to restoration complexity.
    #                 A good rule of thumb, usually, is 1/10 of the size of your
    #                 tape.  Default: [disabled]
    # split_diskbuffer - (optional) When dumping a split dump  in  PORT-WRITE
    #                 mode (usually meaning "no holding disk"), buffer the split
    #                 chunks to a file in the directory specified by this option.
    #                 Default: [none]
    # fallback_splitsize - (optional) When dumping a split dump  in  PORT-WRITE
    #                 mode, if no split_diskbuffer is specified (or if we somehow
    #                 fail to use our split_diskbuffer), we must buffer split
    #                 chunks in memory.  This specifies the maximum size split
    #                 chunks can be in this scenario, and thus the maximum amount
    #                 of memory consumed for in-memory splitting.  Default: [10m]

I just bought the LG ALLY and would love to have the Accuweather widget on the phone. My problem is while my phone shows the correct time, (I am on Eastern here, but about 15 miles away in Illinois they are on Central) the Accuweather Widget is off by an hour showing Central time. I tried to sync it, but I can't find it in my list of sync-able programs. If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated. It's frustrating both me and a co-worker with the same phone/problem.
    Thank you!

I have the same issue, Amanda. The weather widget that comes with the Ally was poorly written. The time issue is bad enough, but it takes up more screen space than is visible. Try it, if you touch and hold on the space below the widget, it will select it. This also means you can't add widgets or icons directly below it, resulting in a great deal of wasted space.
