Widget options

I am unable to change the options to any of the widgets. I can open the options panels but when I click anywhere in the options panel, for instance try to change an option, the whole panel closes. Also if a dialog box requires me to confirm or cancel, such as exiting the program, the only way I can select is to hit "d" on my keyboard for "don't save" or "C" on m keyboard for cancel. Everything else seems to work fine. I was hoping the 2014.1.1 update would fix this for me but it did not.
I replaced my Wacom Bamboo with an Intuos small yesterday and I also bought a brand new mouse. I am thinking it's something on my end because I don't see anyone else with this issue but I can't figure it out. All other on programs my computer work fine for me and Muse works with the exception of these issues.
I am running Windows 7 64 bit with 24gb ram and an Nvidia Geo force GTX 570 graphics card.

Pandora has not completed its rollout to all areas. I know, since I'm waiting for it also (VH06, Ma.) If the Motorola box is a 7216 or 7232, It will be able to use an ESATA drive, provided your area has been upgraded to IMG 1.9. That rollout also has not been completed. Look at settings/ system info for IMG rev level info.

Mobile Me galleries shown in iWeb widget options

I have discovered the MobileMe galleries that are listed as an option to add are only those created in iPhoto or iWeb. Although the Media panel gives way to Aperture libraries, it doesn't incorporate the MobileMe galleries created in Aperture.
Is there a work-around to add the MobileMe galleries from Aperture into the widget in iWeb? I realize this may be more or less an "Aperture" question - but because it is in iWeb, I thought to ask here first. Thanks!

It's a known problem; try this work-around...
Log into me.com and open the gallery you prepared in aperture.
Select the "Adjust the settings for this album" button at the top, then select the pop-up that says "Syncs with" and choose "iPhoto" instead of "Aperture".
Press "Publish".
That's it, the gallery now appears in the iWeb Widgets list!
Also it still syncs with Aperture, both way

Widget option does not appear when trying to add Firefox home screen widget

E mail suggested the method of holding empty space on home screen, then select "widgets" and add Firefox widget. Unfortunately my nexus 7 only offers wallpapers, android messenger and 1 other. Please advise, thanks Allan

On the main computer, per "Part 3: Connect your other computer to your Sync account", there remains no indication of being signed in, no Manage Account button and no Add a Device link when I click on the Sync icon in Options (accessed like this: Firefox menu, Options menu, Options menu item, Sync tab).
The account has, however, been set up and I can sign into it to manage it at https://services.mozilla.com/ and after following the procedure at the "I don't have the device with me" link my iPod Touch and laptop both reported that Firefox Sync had been successfully set up. However, experimenting to see if it is working, adding a new bookmark on the desktop PC does not result in it being replicated in Firefox Home on the iPod Touch after tapping Settings, Refresh (although I am shown as signed in on the iPod Touch).
Am I missing out some step regarding having the account "active" on the desktop PC?

Widget options not saved

Since the STB update I cannot save changes to the options of a widget. Specifically, I load Weatherbug and it knows only one zip code. I hit Options and enter more zipcodes. Weatherbug now knows multiple zipcodes and works appropriately but if i exit the widget and immediately go back into it, only the first zipcode remains. I cannot make it save my changes.

In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear history:
*do not clear the Cookies
*do not clear the Site Preferences
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
Clearing cookies will remove all specified (selected) cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you would like to keep.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.

Widget option resets

This isn't a Leopard-specific problem (had it with Tiger also), but I've never been able to find a solution, if there is one. Some of my widgets allow customisation by setting various options. I loose these settings everytime I come back to the Mac OS after visiting Windows via Bootcamp. Is there any way to make these settings stick?

Just restarting the computer shows this problem. I leave my computer on all the time and just put it to sleep when not in use, but many (most?) people probably turn their computers off when not in use. Surely all these people don't have to reset the options every time they turn on their computers. Am I missing out on some command or setting somewhere that I need to check?

HTML Snippet does not exist as a Widget option in iWeb 09

I have iWeb 09 on my machine. I'm trying to insert an HTML Snippet onto a page so i can drop in the code for a XSPF player.
When i choose "Show Media", under Widgets there are only four, and HTML Snippet isn't one of them. I only have:
MobileMe Gallery
Google AdSense
iSight Photo
iSight Movie
I also don't have the YouTube widget, the Google Map Widget--these i only know about by looking in support and seeing that these should all be there.
Any thoughts as to how i can get HTML Snippet available in my media widgets? My site is almost completed and ready to publish. Without this feature it will be pointless to publish at all.

Hey there! While browsing the support forums I came upon this topic here, because I was having a similar issue.
Before developing the suggestion, here you have the website with the form, as we currently have it: http://awake-gaming.com/join-us.html
The form I inserted was not only a contact form, but also a joining form. When submitted, the website calls to Discourse's (the board software we use over at http://forums.awake-gaming.com/) API via an ajax code and so a Bot creates a thread with the information introduced in the forums.
Simply put: Submit -> Code calls to API -> Bot creates thread using the input parameters on the form.
So, what if we don't want the applicant to publish his e-mail? We didn't want the mail to be submitted at all, yet Muse didn't allow us to delete that field nor hide it. In our case "fixing" this hasn't been that much of a pain, as we simply deleted the event listener. But we know how to code. What about people who don't?
Quoting the staff answer on the topic I originally refer to: "Email is the unique identifier and required to create a customer record in the CRM in Business catalyst." But there are people who don't use Catalyst at all. Or am I wrong? Is my site (awake-gaming.com) related to Catalyst at all? I understand it might be necessary for websites hosted on catalyst, but in cases like ours?
That's why I'm requesting the e-mail field on the form to be optional.

Increasing the options with the Composition Widgets

Can the Muse team please look at giving us more options within the widget options?
For example the autoplay feature. Can we have this so it can play once then stay on or off? As at the moment all we can do is change it to 0.1 seconds and it constantly loops. Also can we have more options for rollover and clickable triggers?

Normally simply pressing them should do what you want, F10 to mute; F11 to decrease volume; F12 to increase volume. However, it's possible that you have a box ticked in Keyboard preferences which modifies the behaviour of the keys, requiring you to also hold down the Fn key (bottom left key on the keyboard) to enable the function.
Check System Preferences>Keyboard to makes sure the box indicated in the image isn't ticked.

How to create a Bool Option for Full Screen and Page Item in Mucow?

Is there an option to hide the tooltip after a certain time?

I've got the Spry tooltip set to appear after 500ms, but I'd like it to disappear within say 5s. It's only a "tip" so if the user's mouse stays hovered over the tip location they've read the tip and don't need to see it any more. I can't see an option to remove it after a time - if there isn't one it sure would be nice to have one.

Dreamweaver CS4 - How do I get widgets?

OK, this is going to sound very stupid, but I can't figure out how to get any widgets. I have gone to the Widget Browser, chosen a couple of widgets, clicked Save Widget Files. Of course, there is no indication anywhere as to where I need to save them, so I created a folder on my computer and dropped them in there. No other info about what to do next. I go to Insert, and there is no widget option under common, spry, or anything else. What am I missing in this process?

That certainly explains why I can't get that done. I have opened and edited the download. What I'm working with is a slideshow. I looked at the other options that I can get imported/installed, but they aren't exactly what I need. How do I get the slideshow I have created now dropped into an existing page? I'm concerned that I won't be able to figure out where to put all the components so everything will work.

Can I resize thumbnails in the Review widget?

In the review widget options, the sixth option down is called "Drag Thumbnail to Target."
Does anyone know if I can resize the thumbnails at the bottom?

Are you talking about the thumbnails in the Pages pane?
In that case, you can right-click on the Pages pane to bring up the context menu.
"Enlarge Page Thumbnails" and "Reduce Page Thumbnails" are items on that menu.
You can also click on the little gears icon under the name of the Pane. That bring up the same menu.
