Widget "TimesSquare" (in Webcams category) issue

That widget has been not working anymore since a couple of month. I've tried to trash the two appledashboard preferences, repaired permissions, but no changes occured. Is this a matter of Leopard Update not compatible with that very widget. I've been reading about "weather widget" and some issues, but nothing about "TimesSquare". I miss it. Anybody got the same issue ?

Item Category Issue

Dear Experts,
While i create packaging in Handling unit ther is a tab of Additional Data in Sales and distribution.In that we have Item Category - Issue is i am inputing manual item category TAN but i want to pick automatically.
I am unable to find the setting for packaging Item category of Sales and distribution.

Apart from what Jignesh suggested, follow the following steps for automatic packing:
1 In the Shipping screen choose Pack/load - Pack delivery. You see the Change outbound delivery screen.
2 Enter the number of the delivery that you want to pack, or select one using the matchcode function
3 Press ENTER. You see the overview screen Change Outbound Delivery: Overview - Quantities.
4 Choose Edit, then Pack. You see the screen Pack Items
If you want to pack all delivery items that are not packed, choose Edit - Automatic packing.
In this function, you do not need to select any items individually. All items and shipping units of the selected delivery that are not packed are automatically placed at the disposal of the user exits for automatic packing.
If you only wish to have certain items in the delivery packed, choose Edit then Autom.pack items
With this function, you must select the items and shipping elements to be packed. Then, only the selected unpacked items are placed into an internal table.
If you have set the supplied example to active, the program automatically searches, in both procedures, for the respective shipping materials for the items to be packed.

HR Report Category Issue

Hi,
We're trying to add the "Functional Area" (PNPFKBER) so it appears immediately on the selection-screen of a number of standard SAP reports, and for the most part it works fine. We've accomplished this by copying the standard report category of the program to a custom report category in T599C, then updating table T599B in order to assign the new copied report category to the program.
As mentioned, it works for the most part.
Here's my issue... for program RPTEDT00 (tcode PT_EDT_TELU), we are unable to get the field PNPFKBER to appear on the initial selection-screen. And even when I press the "Further Selections", the field does not appear in the list. I have 5 other programs which react in the same way.
What I was able to deduce is that the ones that I have an issue with are assigned to transactions that are setup to start with a variant.
I tested by creating a custom transaction code and assigned it to RPTEDT00 without starting with a variant, and my field PNPFKBER shows up no problem.
Does anyone know a way around so that we can call the standard transaction with the variant, but that the field will appear?

Execute the program RPTEDT00 through SE38 or SA38 (you can your PNPFKBER in intial screen).
Save the variant with variant with name SAP&TELU (Is already available overwrite).
Now run the Transaction you can see Functional Area filed in the intial screen.
Follow the same procedure for all the other transactions.

Product category issue

We are upgrading from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0 system. we are facing some issues in Shopping cart
1. Product category is getting defaulted in SC for all the line items. we have not maintained default in extended attributes and in default settings in SC also we tried to remove Product category but it is mandatory field and system is not allowing us to give blank and when i have given product category at SC Default settings it populates to all line items. Our requirement is product category should be blank at SC level and user will select. How to find the solution for this
2. G/L Account is not populated based on the product category ( we have maintained at config level for product category and G/L Account but it is not populating when SC is created with that product category

last product category or first product category is showing as default for all your sc. before you order you can change it right .
or create a dummy product category and make it default.

Adobe Connect Webcam "Zooming" issue on PC NOT on MAC HELP??

Hi All,
So this is about the resolution of the webcam and it "auto" zooming when the webcam window is reduced.
ie.. I have a 480p camera and when the video window is large (approx a quarter of screen real-estate) all is fine. As i reduce the window or ad more cams from other presenters the image is cropped to just the centre 280p . rather than just reducing the window size it reduces the images size as well. So a head shot turns into an extreme close up!
This issue does not happen on a mac.
Both are using the adobeconnectaddin and are up to date with flash etc.
Any ideas?

Have you ever received any information to help in regard to this problem? I'm looking for similar "fixes" for LiveCycle Designer forms to work on a Mac.
Since Firefox is now a Mac browser would your idea of coding work in that? If so I'd love to learn how!

Quick Workaround for Lion OS X Webcam/Mic Issues

This is pretty a very basic Flash fix, but wanted to pass along a quick workaround if you're having issues with accessing your webcam or microphone with Mac Lion OS X. The company I work for uses Flash heavily -- especially webcams and microphones -- so this was an important workaround for us. When you try to connect to your webcam or softphone, you’ll notice that you’re presented with the Adobe Privacy settings dialog if you're running Lion. However, it will not allow you to navigate away from that dialog once it’s opened, and it freezes the whole page. The selectors are disabled for the whole box. You’ll have to refresh the page to exit that dialog.
1. If you’re stuck on the Adobe Flash Privacy dialog, refresh your page.
2. Right-click (or Control + Click) anywhere in the Flash window and select “Global Settings…” (Note: You can also access your global Flash settings by navigating to System Preferences -> Flash Player)
3. Once you’ve opened the Flash Player Settings dialog, select the Camera and Microphone Settings by Site option.
4. You’re then presented with the Camera and Microphone Settings by Site dialog.
5. In order to add the site that you want to access your webcam or microphone on, click the plus icon [+]. Type the URL into the Website Domain field. Select Allow from the dropdown. Click Add.
6. Now, your site will appear in your list as an allowed Flash site. Hit Close.
7. Refresh the page and access your webcam and softphone as you normally would from the Flash Settings dialog. They will function as usual. And you’re all done.

Some clarification, perhaps.
Kappy referred to iLife applications. The iLife suite of applications includes:
          iMovie
          iPhoto
          iWeb
          iDVD
          Garageband
So, if your supplemental disc has those apps on it, then it is probably the iLife collection.

Xperia Weather widget GPS location automatic update issue

Folks,
Having an issue with Xperia Weather widget location automatic update. It just stays whatever I set manually before even selecting "use my current GPS location".It finds location OK, but should it follow then automatically or it works only in "manual mode" ?
GPS settings are activated OK.
On other weather app this feature works fine.
Anybody experiencing the same problem?

That "use my current GPS feature" is just to set the location. It doesn't works as automatic mode to update your location on it's own.
You will have to do it manually again if you wish to change the location.

Material Master tax Category Issue

Hi all,
I have some doubt in Material Master sales view.
I want to know the Database Table name in which the field Tax Category (TATYP) and tax classification(TAXKN) stored.
I know that these tables are stored in the stucture during creation of material master.
Its urgent please help if anybody knows

The filed TATYP ( TAX category) is in TSKM,
and i could not found TAXKN in data dictionary, i found TAXKM in TSKM table,
the description for TAXKM is Tax classification.

Batch / Stock Category Issue

Dear All,
I have a scenario where a single material in a purchase order has different stock categories as below:
PO/LI - 10    Mat A    US
            20   Mat A    FR
            30   Mat A    AG
When the GRN is done, ideally for the different stock categories the created system batch should be different, but in my system a single batch gets created for all the stock categories. As per my understanding the relationship between Batch & Stock Category is ONE to ONE. But how could it is be possible that the system replicates the same batch for the different stock categories for a given GRN instance ( in a single material document)
In the material master, the discrete batch is maintained and also the batch management tick is maintained.
Any reasons as to why this is happenning and how i could rectify this

What "stock category" means? "US", "FR", "AG"?
Are you speaking about valuation types?
How batch number ssignment is set in the system? Please check it - maybe user exit SAPLV01Z is used --> revise the logic of it with the help of an ABAPer.
In your example I can see separate line items - you should be able to set the system to assign different batch numbers to the items (via user exit).

Widget (interaction) size and font issues when published in HTML 5

I'm using Captivate 7 and when I create and preview widget interactions (accordian, tab, etc.) the sizing and font look correct. However, when I publish it to HTML 5, it is not the right size, is left justified rather than centered, and does not have the custom font (defaults to Arial).
Is there anything I can do to fix this? Please help!

Adobe writes inline css for the font on that widget, in the CPM.js file. You's have to create a new class and and write your own rules using @font-face to ensure end-users can use the font. SWF files can embed fonts, but html does not.
If the user doesn't have to font you use it will default.
This is an example of how the Header title and instruction of the widget is written:

Webcam Resolution Issues

I am beginning to think that there is a hardware problem with the webcam on my new dv6-2043ca running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Can someone who owns a dv6-2043ca please confirm that the internal webcam works at resolutions greater than 160X120?

Try adjusting the focus ring. You can check the manual at page 3 for the part location.

Podcast Maker and category issues

I have been using Podcast Maker to upload my podcasts (The Hottoycast).
When I launched the app, I saw none of my previous episodes there. I made the mistake of just launching the app a fres as apposed to opening viw the previous file.
Forgetting how it's done I just created a new episode not realising that it would over run the existing lot.
I also changed the category from 'podcasting' to 'hobbies' in the Edit Podcast panel on Podcast Maker.
So I now have only one episode of 'My Podcast' in 'Hobbies'.
When it should be 'The Hottoycast' in Hobbies and there should be five.
My guess is that 'My Podcast' in Hobbies has over run The Hottoycast in Podcasting.
To fix this i decided to go load all five episodes into Podcast Maker and publish all five episodes together in the right category of 'hobbies'.
This will now probably make all five episodes update the RSS feed and they will have todays date as apposed to having the rdate of creation.
Right now I only see 'My Podcast' with The Hottoycast Episode Five.
I also say that in my Itunes Episode one came down.
Will everthing still be ok having uploaded all five epiosdes together? will all five episodes be in the same category? will The Hottoycast override 'My Podcast'

Changing the category simply changes the labelling in the feed, much the same as changing data in the subtitle or summary. It won't have any other effect.

Webcam quality issue

I have a HP G56 108SA, its got a 1.2MP webcam built in but its showing horidly, i have Youcam 4 installed but its highest resolution setting is 640x480 and not giving me the 1.2/1.3mp option.
Anyone able to help with this?

This is 0.3 mega pixel webcam that is configured on all value line systems.this is why paid lower money.
you should not expect higher than this configuration cause this is a value line in a business way and this is not made for day to day chatting.

Webcam Instant, Creative Webcam Center issue

im having trouble with my webcam center application. drivers and everything installed just fine and i accessed the Center application once with no problem until i tried to save a captured pic. then it went unresponsi've and now wont start at all. i even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it doesnt work.

JornGP .... Have you tried doing more than taking one snapshot under each user name? I tried going into other users as well. The software started, but as soon as I took a snapshot it locked up. Now under those users it no longer starts up either and locks.
As for Windows Updates, I don't have my PC set for automatic updates - it only updates when I manually check for updates and install. No new updates were installed on my PC during the time this problem started, so that can't be it.

Character Bio Category Issue-Help!

I'm working with Adobe Story Free, and I'd like to create documents for the Character Bio category. However, the program will only let me make documents for scripts. Is there anything I can do to create documents for the Character Bio category?
