Widget triggers jumps around, drives me crazy!!
http://delta.tinahammar.se/delta/get-better-effect.html#bad-triggers
Again ... why does the triggers jump around. Why can't they just stay the way they are in design mode.
When slideshows go nuts, I usually have to start all over again, and somehow they work. But not this one.
Look at the triggers on the link above.
In designmode everything behaves nice...
After publishing or in preview, things move around. The states of the buttons aren't respected either. On mouse leave the text goes black instead of staying white as defined in "active" state.
The buttons jumps all over the place.
This is happening over and over again ..
This is from another widget that I gave up on ...

Don't know how to solve this. really need help so I post it here 2.
Original post.
Please, anyone ...
http://forums.adobe.com/message/5361388#5361388I'm using the up and down arrow keys to jump between cuts, but for some reason I can jump back beween cuts, but when clips are stepped up it doesn't seem to let me jump forward to the next edit.
I assume you're referring to when you have more than one track with clips on them. In that case, you need to be mindful of which tracks are targeted; that controls which tracks are subject to the Next/Previous Edit commands.
For example:
Any track that isn't targeted will be ignored by the Next/Previous Edit commands. Just click the header "button" to enable or disable a track. Track targeting affects many other operations in Premiere Pro--for example, adding edits or applying transitions. Check out this Help document page for some more info: Targeting tracks

Have made triggers with different states.
In design mode they are perfectly aligned but in preview and after publishing, they jump around.

my track pad will sudenly start jumping around the screen and clicking very rapidly, since te problem began it operates diferently from normal when ever it apears to be working correctly, specificly i can no longer grab items without removing the tracking finger from the pad before clicking to grab an item, if i do not it will procede as if i double cliked somthing, conversly if i disable the two finger tap double click i am unable to double click anything, sometimes whilst apearing to funtion normally it will scroll from side to side if i do not remove my thumb from the bottom of the pad, again these are during the rare instances its not jumping about the screen cliking, and reaking havoc on what ever im working on any help would be apreciated thanks.
You have some type of hardware problem. More then likely the battery is swelling and putting presure on the trackpad. The only thing to do is take to Apple and have them check it all out, replacing any parts that are needed.

Mouse pointer jumping around the screen
My mouse pointer has just started jumping around the screen. It vibrates and slowly moves down the screen even if I am not touching it. I have cleaned the sensor but that has not helped. I unplugged it and the pointer still jumped around.
Any ideas what might be causing this as I have not seen quite this problem on other discussions.HI,
That's interesting... restart your iMac. See if that makes a difference.
Also, do you have anything nearby that might cause interference, like a cell phone or graphics tablet?
May sound crazy, but dust and lint build up on a mouse pad can cause erratic cursor behavior.
You could try deleting this file.
com.apple.driver.AppleHIDMouse.plist
/Users/YourName/Library/Preferences. Drag that file to the Trash, empty the Trash and restart your iMac. -
Macbook pro early 2011 freezes, slow, weird fan noise + trackpad jumping around
Hi guys, see the Etrecheck report below. My 13' Macbook pro (early 2011) has been very slow for the last few months, the fan makes a weird blowing noise (several fellow students have looked around what the **** that noise was when it started doing it), and recently started freezing when opening iTunes, OpenOffice and even Firefox.
OH AND my trackpad has jumping around without me even touching it.
What do you guys think? What's the problem, what can I do? IF I take it in how much do you think it might cost?

Wireless Mighty Mouse jumps around?!
Hi there!
I have an quite annoying issue with my wireless mm:
Sometimes it lets the cursor jump around and it is almost impossible to control it.
I am pretty sure it does not have to do with dust on the lens or shiny surfaces, because for 2 weeks it worked without any worries in the same environment. I almost believed the problem was gone.
Most of the time I manage to solve the problem by switching the mouse on&off for a couple of times and/or reinitializing the bluetooth connection.
Then it usually works for a while. But next time i wake my MacBook it starts all over again!!
Does anyone know this problem?
Thanks for any help!I too am having this problem. I bought the mouse about two months ago and the day I synced it with my iMac it started freaking out too. I tried all the usual things, i.e. cleaned it, tried different mouse pads, tuned down tracking, resync it, everything. It just didn't work, but then I went on a trip and decided, "What the heck, I'll take the mouse and try fixing it on my MacBook Air." I get to my destination and resync it with the Air and it works perfectly, so I figured my desktop was the problem. I get home a few days latter after having used the mouse flawlessly and try it again in my house, when suddenly, it begins to jump around my MacBook Air. So I turned off the Bluetooth on my iMac (only a few feet from me and the Air) and the problem went away... for about 30 minutes, then my mother got on her iMac in her room, one room away, and lo- the problem did recur!
I believe the problem has something to do with the fact that the Mighty Mouse and the Wireless Keyboard both use the entire gamete of frequencies the Bluetooth has, thus, it is trying to sync with anything with Bluetooth in it, cellphones, PS3's, ext... Because if I take one of my MacBook's out into my ranch, far from anything, including my iPhone, the Mighty Mouse works! But the second I bring something with Bluetooth in range of the mouse, BAM! CRAZY MOUSE TIME!
I have dug around the Bluetooth shell inside OS X and found you can limit which bandwidths your computer receives, but this solves nothing if it is the mouse itself trying to sync with every computer and phone within range. I doubt this is how Apple intended the thing to work but they may have assumed that it was only meant as a traveling mouse, or perhaps to be used by people with only one Mac?
Perhaps there is a firmware patch out there that might solve this? I have seen ones for OS 9 and below, but nothing about OS X -
Satellite C650D - CPU usage is jumping around
I bought a Toshiba Satellite C650D 2 months ago, and I used the Windows 7 that came with it thinking it was all fine and dandy until some days ago, it started getting random lag spikes.
At first it just occured when watching movies (tried 4 different programs, reinstalled all driver, scanned for malware, defragged, you name it) then it started happening outside the movie-viewing aswell. That did it for me, and I installed Windows XP. I've done so 3 times now, clean installs of Windows XP. At first it seemed fine. For some hours, then it started lagging really bad, not like in Windows 7, but CPU usage is jumping around in the boundaries between 1% and 99% randomly, but there is no processes taking it!
It lags whatever I do, just opening notepad can make it jump. I figured it would work with a clean format, but noo, of course the problem reoccured. It could perhaps be drivers, seing as the problems in Windows 7 and XP are somewhat different. I'm at my wits ends here on what to do, anything would be helpful.I'm bought a Toshiba Satellite C650D 2 months ago, and I used the windows 7 that came with it thinking it was all fine and dandy until some days ago, it started getting random lag spikes, at first it just occured when watching movies (tried 4 different programs, reinstalled all driver, scanned for malware, defragged, you name it) then it started happening outside the movie-viewing aswell. Mouse arrow jumps around on the screen
mouse arrow jumps around on the screen
My iMac is unusable! If I click on a file the highlite runs down to the last file in the folder
When I boot up the hilight jumps all over the screen until it arrives at my startup drive.
If I type something and make an error it cannot be corrected, the cursor dances back to the begining of the sentence.
When clicking on the tool bar, eg. Safari "file" the cursor moves to all the other menu bar options.
I use "MacKeeper" for virus control. For a while it wouldn't load. Zeobit was able to correct that problem by remotely going into my computer and fixing everything the needed to be fixed. They solved that problem and the computer seemed fine. MacKeeper is currently checking all of my drives and partions. They also updated my virus library. This was yesterday (9/15/2012).
I scanned my startup disk this morning and it was clean. I also scanned two of my external drives as well as my internal drive. So far all are clean. 7 Drives to go.
I am running OSX 10.8.1 on an early 2008 iMac.
4 GB RAM
1.5 GB startup drive
3 external drives running on UBS via two docks.
3 External WD 2T external drives.
3 MyBooks drives via Firewire.
A total of 9 external drives with 15 partitions. All are Western Digital.
There has never been an issue with this configuration. I've been using Apple products since the "Fat Mac", twenty or so years. So I know my way around my macs, at least enough to solve any problems that have occured.
There are no authorized Apple techs in the country of Panama. Would sure appreciate help on this.
Thank you,

Product Number: A9P60UA#ABA Envy 15 Notebook PC
OS = Windows 7
When typing (either email or word document), the cursor jumps around, inserting characters randomly. This has been a problem since I received the computer. The issue seems to be resolved if I disable the touchpad. Please try reinstall the touchpad driver. or try the latest touchpad driver from hp.com which can help fix the issue.
Good luck !!!

Pavillion Dv7 7047-cl Laptop Touchpad jumping around after typing
The touchpad of my laptop has been messing up pretty badly recently. My laptop's touchpad will spontaneously jump around and randomly right/left click when I try to use it. This mainly happens after I finished typing something. The longer I use my Keyboard without using my touchpad, the longer my touchpad will go out of control. This does not affect usb mice, but if I continue to type with out using my touchpad, i can only type a few letters before my keyboard refuses to type. This is fixed after i move my touchpad, and next few letters of what I just typed will appear, sometimes stopping and repeating a letter, like thisssss. This works even I toggle the touchpad off with the button in the top left of the touchpad, so the pointer won't jump around but text will appear. I've searched my laptop for viruses, but didn't find any. Even typing this post has taken me over 10 minutes because of the on and off mouse -> type -> mouse -> type pattern. My driver is updated, and i've tried restarting my computer, but nothing works. Help!
Try two things:
1. Hard reset (remove battery and AC plug, hold down power button 30 seconds, wait 30 seconds, plug in power and restart) + go into BIOS (F10 as you power up) and restore default settings.
2. Try Touchfreeze or Touchpad Pal software. It disables the touchpad while you are typing:

Cursor/layout jumps around page as I am working
The page is jumping around hereky jerky and I can't figure out why. I might me moving something ususally. Sometimes it happen when chaging pages or placing an item. It's crazy and a total time waster.
Sorry, I'm a Windows guy, so I can't suggest anything more sophisticated than clearing caches and repairing permissions, which probably won't help. It most likely is something on your Mac, that is conflicting, not a problem with ID itself, based on the lack of other reports. Try disabling any third-party plugins or font manager, if installed.

Hi all -
I looked around the forums and couldn't find an existing solution...
This afternoon, I started using my Magic Mouse again, after about a week without turning it on. The mouse now jumps around erratically and sends spurious click commands - menus pop up all over the place, links are clicked, apps opened, etc. Usually it takes the form of the mouse jumping 1-8" to the left, and it seems proportional to the impact - if I put it down normally, it jumps about 4" to the left. If I put it down a little harder then normal, it usually jumps to the upper left corner.
This ONLY seems to happen when I pick up the mouse to reposition it on the mouse pad. If I slide it smoothly along the pad, then there don't seem to be any issues.
It has been in my backpack, and was turned on (I realized this afternoon when I took it out), so I wondered if it might have been the batteries. I checked them, and they're fine. It also had trouble connecting, though, and I had to cycle both the mouse and BlueTooth on the MBP.
I also saw several posts here that said it might be the optics, so I tried blowing those out, but they look crystal clear.
Just to be safe, I also updated the Wacom tablet drivers to the latest, no luck.
MBP (July 2011) 15" i7, upgraded to 8 G RAM
Lion 10.7.4
Magic Mouse
Wacom Intuos 5 tablet
no external monitors
It's possible this started when I installed the Wacom drivers, since it 'feels' kinda like using a tablet in absolute mode, rather than mouse mode - but with the mouse hardware. I have not tried swapping out the mouse for another one, nor tried this mouse with another Mac. I can try those in the next few days when I get an opportunity, but figured I'd ask in the meantime.
I'm suspicious of either the Wacom tablet (but I can't imagine there would be a problem, as SO many people would have experienced it already).
I'm also suspicious that maybe something has been jiggled loose inside the mouse, but have no idea how to tell.
Can anyone save me a trip to the (distant) genius bar?
Thanks!
Aaronhey try a smc reset
EDIT (smc reset
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.)
if that doesnt help look at replacing the batteries in your magic mouse and try it then
if the issue still presists take it into a apple store and they can test it there to see whats up -
Macbook Pro with OSX Yosemite: I am frustrated that when using Word for Mac, the cursor keeps jumping around all over the page. How can I make the pointer follow the cursor so this stops?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

OSX update 10.10.2 causes mouse to jump around and text to be highlighted randomly in Dreamweaver CC. When trying to click on a specific line of code in a js file the cursor ends up in a different place in the script and several lines of code highlighted. Clicking again jumps the mouse to a different position and even more lines of code highlighted and some characters rearranged, breaking the lines of code. Very frustrating.
Preran,
I am having the same issue. I have a MBP connected to 2 x Dell 27" monitors over Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cables. Once I updated to OS X 10.10.2 this cursor highlight/jumping around issue only occurs on the connected monitors. If I move the program to the main laptop display the issue goes away. It does not require me to restart the program or the machine to make it work correctly. One way I am able to identify the issue is if I go to the line numbers in code like I wanted to select multiple lines - in the one that works correctly, the cursor turns into a white version where the tip of the cursor points to the right. When it is wrong, the cursor stays black and will only have the tip point to the left. Its just another way I identified if it was working cause I tried uninstalling DW and reinstalling - didn't work. Reset preferences as you discussed - no go. And I used other editors like IntelliJ and Adobe Edge Code - all of which work fine and don't display this issue.
I tried the preferences reset you suggest and it doesn't work. I have another machine with OS X 10.10.1 on it and this issue is not there on any monitor. Any help with this ASAP as it pretty much stops you from being able to do any editing especially with longer pages as it consistently wants to page up when you select anything and if you then click again in another area it tries to move the highlighted code to that new spot.
Update: I have a USB Microsoft Arch touch mouse connected (always worked just fine). When I go to place my cursor at some point in the code it causes the highlight flicker. If I switch over and use the built in trackpad, then I can place the cursor without the highlight issue. When trying to select multiple lines or sections of code, that still see's the highlight, page up and move of code issues regardless of input type.
