Widgets not loading in Chrome

Hi,
Does anyone have any ideas about learning interactions not loading in Chrome (39)?
I am just starting out with Captivate - tested a word search in Chrome, all I get is everything greyed out with the loading boxes it then goes to white and plays the rest of the slide. Images/text work ok.
I have replaced the index.hml file as prescribed by the 'Chrome Fix' to no avail - probably missing something obvious.

BT Email not loading on Chrome Browser

I have not been able to get BT email to work on both Chrome and Internet Explorer so phoned BT and they fixed it remotley to work on internet explorer including adding the website into the compatibility view area on IE.
However they told me the reason it didn't work in Chrome is it wasn't secure enough and that both Chrome and Firefox are insecure as apposed to Internet Explorer. If anything Internet Explorer is probably one of the most insecure browsers out of the lot so I can't understand why the email won't load via Chrome considering it is one of the most popular browsers. I don't get anything, just a white blank page.

are you a newish BT Retail broadband customer (if you are then you maybe on the new BT Mail), if your an existing customer you will still be on the BTYahoo mail system and platform.
You can check by going to: http://diagnostics.bt.com/login/?workflow=EmailChecker
I have just logged into my BT (yahoo) webmail sucessfully on Chrome, so shouldn;t be an issue.
Have you tried deleting your cache and browser data and trying again? Also check if you have any chrome add-on or extensions which could be blocking it.
Go to https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95582?hl=en for help on deleting your cache and browsing data.

Photo Lightbox Composition not loading in Chrome

The photo page is not loading on first try, sometimes never, in Chrome - regular mode. Incogneto works fine. Any ideas why? (It also loads fine in IE, Safari and Firefox).

I tested the mentioned page and it came up fine in the first go. I then refreshed the page a few times to check if I can replicate the issue but I was unable to. I'd suggest you to please clear the browser's cache. If you still face the problem, try resetting the browser setting. This will reset the browser to factory default and disable the add ons, which might be conflicting.
PS : I tested on Windows/Chrome V33.0.1750.154 m

Flash player "Movie not loaded" in Chrome on certain pages.

When tryingto load a video in Chrome I get a blank window and a "movie not loaded" message when I right click. The video doesn't work in Firefox or IE either. It just doesn't display the player at all.
Youtube works though and I can see the test flash animation on adobe's website but it's not working on a specific website. I tried I uninstalling Flash using Revo and reinstalling it, running CCleaner, disabling hardware acceleration, updating Chrome and deleting flash player's stored data.
I read some where that it might be network/firewall related but I wouldn't know how to investigate that.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Couple things...
Since you are using the old, outdated <object><embed> method, you normally use a classID with the object, like this:
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0" width="550" height="400">
along with the correct path to the file name... (you are using a fake filename in the object)
But a better method is to skip the <embed> entirely and use this updated version of <object>
<object data="http://www.gwarg.dk/images/GWG2.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="550" height="400">
           <param name="movie" value="http://www.gwarg.dk/images/GWG2.swf">
           <param name="quality" value="high" />
</object>
You can change the path to relative paths instead of absolute if you like.

Chat widget not loading

after updating to belle fp1 on my nokia 603 chat widget is not loading. When i add the chat widget it ask "would u like to set up chat service now" & when i press yes it shows a backscreen msg ”no chat service set up yet”and screen go back to home menu without starting it. Help me out...

Could you please try to soft reset your phone using *#7780# security code 12345 by default if prompted, This will reset all device settings to as they where when new however it will not delete any data.
If you chat widget is still not working please plug your device into Nokia Suite and re-install the software.

Film Not Loaded On Chrome With Flash 11.8.800.64

When i was going to play a game it said Film Not Loaded and i re-loaded the page more then 10 times and it didnt work. I followed some tutorials on how to fix it but none of them worked. My system is Win7 64-Bit. Who can help me?

Facebook activity feed widget not showing in Chrome - desktop site.

The Facebook activity feed is not working in chrome for a desktop site. It does show in chrome on a mobile phone... Is there a work around for this? Because, it does work on other browsers as well when you visit the desktop site. I have added http, https and not had http in the code as some others said that worked for them. But, it did not work for me. The site that it is not working on is www.mikemineo.com PLEASE HELP!

I checked the site in Chrome and I see the feeds shows up fine take a look :
I would suggest you to please try clearing browser cache and cookies and check if that helps.

Calendar Widgets not loading on 808

Something has broken the Calendar widgets on my 808!
I don't know what caused the bug but I am now unable to load either of the 2 calendar widgets or the ComingNext widget onto the home screens. The apps behind the widget work fine and I have no problem loading other widgets, just the 3 related to the Calendar. Any suggestions?

Contacts
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
Calendars

Pepper flash not loading in chrome

I have exhausted my google-fu on this issue, which I also had in other Linux distros. The issue is that pepper flash doesn't show up in the list of plugins in chrome://plugins at all, no errors when chrome is started from a terminal, and no indication that anyone else seems affected by the problem based on poring over the search results for a stupid amount of time.
My system is old. It's a Compaq based on an Asus A7VBX-LA motherboard. I have an Nvidia Riva TNT2 graphics card. System memory is 512MB.
I really hate flash in any form. I installed gnash a while back just so my daughter could watch youtube videos, but now she wants to be able to use sites like Hulu and no combination of gnash or adobe flash with any browser seems to work, so I thought I'd try chrome with pepper-flash. This same thing happened in Debian Jesse with this hardware. My best guess right now is that the software is laughing at my hardware, but I wish it would do it to my face an at least print a message to the terminal that my hardware isn't capable of using the plugin.

I don't think it's your hardware. I'm having the same problem with an Asus EEE 1005 (netbook). I have the updated version of Chromium (30.1) and the chromium-pepper-stable installed (and I confirmed that the so file is there). But Chromium doesn't see the plugin. It sees the Adobe Flash plugin, which I've disabled (but use with Firefox-Nightly, so I don't want to uninstall it).
The Wiki says simply disable one and enable the other. It offers the possibility of installing Iron (a Chrome clone) and running it from the command line in order to invoke Pepper Flash, but it seems not to imagine that the plugin won't be visible in Chromium.
I'd keep working on this if I had any ideas, but I don't. I'll just hope that updated versions of the plugin and Chromium work at some point.

Charter web based email page does not load interface, chrome does

Charter support says the page uses flash and java. I have tried updating everything. reloading everything. chrome and IE both load it normally.
It worked yesterday. Today, it doesn't work.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Video not loading in Chrome

I have this test page of a project I am working now. First time in Edge. Used to use Flash.
I have this page with a video. It downloads in Safari and Firefox but it doesn't work in Chrome.

i see the same problem with all three browsers: that video won't play unless the an initial portion has already been cached.
to remedy, play and pause your video. after a 3 seconds * bitrate of your video has cached, play your video

Edge Animate not playing in Chrome or Firefox?

Hi guy's,
I've embeded an Edge Animate file as an i-Frame so the animation can be viewed in our companies LMS (as it uses a WIZIWIG editor to create the content), the animation plays in Safari and on iPad etc, but it wont play on Chrome or Firefeox?
Does anyone have any idea on how I can make sure it plays on all browsers please?
I'm a bit of a newbie, so sorry if this is a stupid question?

I've checked the comsole, It looks like there might be an error on our Firewall as it says 'display: blocked'
However, as the file is hosted externally it shouldn't make a difference? I've tried veiwing the slider on an 'un-networked' machine on both Chrome and Firefox, and it doesn't seem to play still.

Images not loading on new 11" Air on some websites

Images on some websites - Huffington Post, for example - do not load in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
I can't find anything in preferences for any of these browsers to alter this behavior.
My Macbook Air running Mountain Lion is current with updates.
Any help/advice appreciated.

that is so strange, i had the location "image/rotator/......" for all three of my images in the js file and only the third one works?
i believe they are all loading up fine as of this moment, just like they were yesterday, but not this morning when i first arrived at work. i wonder what changes the location by itself.
hopefully the same thing won't happen again.
as for the text problem, thanks for pointing that out, i really appreciate it! but our office has been quite understaffed for a while, and no one here really knows anything about web maintenance. hopefully someone will fix those problems some day.
