Das liegt wohl eher an der Willkür der Apple-Programmierer und wie die ganze Synchronisierung mit iOS-Geräten funktioniert. Nichts anderes wird ja da unter der Haube verwendet. Aber es hindert dich ja nix, die Bilder direkt aus dem Speicher abzugreifen und die Funktion nicht zu benutzen.

I've recently joined the Creative Cloud with a view to finding a mobile and desktop solution to managing my 433Gb photo collection currently on local drives. I also need to be able to go on holiday and import photos using the Camera Lightning Connection Cable for iPad to get RAW photos from my Lumix GF6. I've tried the Apple iCloud Photo Library and it fills my iPad memory before I've a quarter of the photos imported to the cloud.
When I try it with Lightroom Mobile, it can see the RAW photos (they show up on the little icon in Add from Camera Roll), but clicking on the icon only shows the JPEGs currently in the Camera Roll. What can I do to import them (and get them in the Adobe Cloud when I have a mobile signal). There is no desktop at this point, imagine I'm on holiday (wish I was!).

That’s a great pity. I’m looking for a Mobile Workflow for when I’m on holiday. With all the changes in iOS 8, it still can’t keep a RAW file in one piece after import. I’ve found Photogenie can edit the RAW but back home I’d be using Lightroom, since the iOS 8 / Yosemite iCloud Photo Library won’t import more than a quarter of what is in my Lightroom on disk. I need a Cloud backup.

Fuji X-10 RAW files in Lightroom mobile

Hi!
I have encountered a strange issue with files from my wive's Fuji X-10.
I synched them to Lightroom mobile and they seem to display fine, but when I try to edit them, they get distorted and the the picture is not updated with the edit. When I switch to a different picture an back it looks normal again and after a couple of minutes the preview is updated with the changes.
this is how it looks like:
Obviously my wife is not overly satisfied with this workflow
Any pointers on how I could use these files in Lightroom mobile?

Wenn die Bilder mit einem iPod touch 4G aufgenommen wurden, können sie direkt auf dem iPod gelöscht werden.
Einfach auf das Bild tippen, danach erscheint in der rechten Ecke ein Papierkorb Icon, ein Druck darauf löscht das Bild.
Andere Bilder, die mit iTunes synchronisiert wurden, müssen zuerst aus der Photo Liste in iTunes abgewählt werden, der darauffolgende Sync löscht die Bilder.

Wir arbeten zur Zeit an unserer Abschlussarbeit in der Gestalterischen Berufsmaturität.
Wir wollen dazu ein einfaches "Game" für das iPad erstellen.
Dieses "Game" erstellen wir als digitales Magazin mit inDesign.
Das ganze funktioniert so, dass wir die Weiterleitung von einer Seite zu der nächsten nur über die gewöhnlichen Schaldfelder erlauben wollen.
Das klappt auch sehr gut. Da das iPat in einer Konsole präsentiert wird, könne wir die üblichen Navigationsmöglichkeiten, mit welchen man sich durch das Magazin bewegt, einfach durch eine Abdeckung aus Holz aus dem Spiel nehmen.
Mit dem "Wischen", mit welchem man sonst auch von Artikel zu Artikel kommt, haben wir aber nicht so leichtes Spiel ...
Daher nun meine Frage: Wie können wir dieses "Wischen" deaktivieren?

There is no limit to the number of photos you can manage in Lightroom. One user in this forum reports a catalog of 600,000 images working properly.
Perhaps Lightroom 1 and 2 might have handled large catalogs slowly, but this problem has been eliminated.

Abschalten oder den Stream anlassen , dann kommt der Mischmasch aus iPhoto/iOS zusammen und wird fröhlich an alle Rechner verteilt die in der Cloud hängen. Was alles dareingeht, kannst Du nicht bestimmen und einzelne rauslöschen geht auch nicht.
Im Zweifel nicht benutzen = völlig unausgegoren wie der ganze Rest ebenso.

Problema Installazione Camera Raw e colori Lightroom 4?

Salve a tutti. Sono italiano e non trovando un forum in italiano ho postato qui la domanda. Il mio problema è questo: ho una versione completa di Lightroom 4 e purtroppo quando carico i file RAW in formato RAF i colori sono sbiaditi e il programma mi "curva" la foto. Ora volevo scaricare Camera Raw perchè credevo che potesse risolvermi il problema. Però una volta scaricato e avviata l'installazione mi esce questo messaggio: Aggiornamento non riuscito. Questa patch non è applicabile ... . Potete aiutarmi per favore?

Cannot Use Camera Raw out of LightRoom 4

Below is a lengthy dialogue that I just had with Tech Support via Chat regarding accessing Camera Raw directly out of LightRoom 4. The end result is that it can't be done. LightRoom 4 has it's own "Develop" section and if you try to "Edit in: PhotoShop 6" the RAW image will bypass Camera Raw and open directly into PhotoShop. Something that I was surprised at and frustrated by. I thought for sure I was missing somehting.
I do not recommend buying LightRoom other than a means of "organizing" our images. I simply use Bridgne and am able to open a Canon "CR2" Raw file directly into Camera Raw and then after making my adjustments directly into PhotoShop. LightRoom lacks Layers, Paths and Channels and a host of other wonderful adjustment / manipulation capabilites not found in LightRoom.
So, if you are like me and want to use Camera Raw prior to going to PhotoShop then LightRoom will not get you there. I spent a tremendous amount of time researching it thinking I must be missing something and then I contacted Support via Chat and we went through changing %AppData%, which only resulted in me losing all my PhotoShop Preferences! A total waste of the Technician's time and mine.
I share the below chat with you only to show you the ludicrous amount of time wasted when the answer remains the same: YOU CANNOT ACCESS CAMERA RAW DIRECTLY OUT OF LIGHTROOM 4

Jim, thank you for an excellent responce. I truthfully had researched the "Help" section on LightRoom and PhotoShop and found nothing that even remotely resembled your straight forward and easy to follow directions. After upgrading to CS6 and LightRoom 4 I am delighted with all of the new features that Adobe created in PhotoShop. I'm not sure that LightRoom 4 was as great an advancement as PhotoShop itself.
I am certainly going to give your solution a try and see how it works out for me. I concur that I probably do not fully understand and appreciate the relationship between the two programs. Today was my attempt of gaining a better insight to that relationship. Thank you for your response!

how to send a raw photo from lightroom to photoshop as a smart "object" not a flat "image" so it does not flatten the image but so I still get all the adjustments i have made in lightroom to show up in photoshop?

Select the image in Lightroom, choose 'Edit in' from Photo menu then choose 'Open as Smart Object in Photoshop'. The file will transfer to Photohop (Ps) complete with Lr applied edits which can be refined in Camera Raw by double clicking on icon in the Ps Layers panel (see screen shot).

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images from Lightroom and choosing the "Render using Lightroom option when it popped up in the dialogue box. She has been doing this for over a year and a half without any problem. Today when she hit Command E no dialogue box appeared and the image just opened in Photoshop. I'm concerned that all of her Lightroom edits are not being rendered to Photoshop. Anyone have an idea as to how we can get the "Render using Lightroom" dialogue back?
