Wiederherstellung YOGA 2 10 1051F / Neuinstallation von USB Stick

Hallo alle zusammen, ich hab n kleines Problem mit dem oben genannten Yoga2.Nach dem Upgrade auf Win10 und erfolgreichem Funktionstest des OS habe ich per Windows Systembereinigung die alten Windowsinstallationen gelöscht, um wieder mehr Speicherplatz zu haben.Nach reboot des Tablets findet der Windows Bootmanager leider das interne Laufwerk nicht mehr -> Bluescreen und kein Boot mehr möglich. Ein Recovery per UEFI bricht mit dem selben Fehler ab. Nächster Versuch meiner seits: Bootfähigen USB Stick mit Win10 erstellt und neu Installieren.Leider erkennt das Lenovo Boot Menü aber keinen USB Stick zum Boot. Secureboot ist deaktiviert. Hat einer noch ne Idee oder ist das Tablet ein Fall für den Lenovo Support? Sonnige Grüße :-)

Bluescreen war glaube ich 0x00000cf. BootLoader fand das Laufwerk nicht mehr.Habs mittlerweile aber neu installiert. Zum Vorgehensweise: Tablet an einen aktiven USB-HUB anschließen (OTG-USB Kabel -> USB -HUB). Dort dann den USB Stick, Tastatur und Maus anschließen. Touchscreen wird im Windows-Installationsmenü nicht erkannt! USB-Stick mit Rufus - Portable erstellen: Einstellungen RUFUS:Vor der Installation muss im Tablet der Secureboot im UEFI ausgeschalten werden (Power + Volume Up -> UEFI Config -> SecureBoot -> Schalter auf "OFF". UEFI Config speichern und neu booten. Falls das Update auf WIndows 10 schon gemacht wurde, können alle Produktkey-Eingaben übersprungen werden.Nach der Installation der Treiber (WLAN wird von Win10 automatisch erkannt) läuft das Tablet wie am ersten Tag. I recently installed Windows 8.1 Pro RTM successfully so I thought it may be useful to share the steps here.
Disclaimer: Please proceed with caution. I'm not responsible for any gain, loss, or harm done to you, your device, or your data.

Pre-requisites:
1- Windows 8.1 RTM ISO image. (Available on the internet)
2- Windows 8 Pro license key. (Yes, It works with 8.1 also)
3- Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool
4- Lenovo Yoga 13 Windows 8 Drivers
5- USB Stick or HDD with at least 4GB space. (Note: All data on disk will be erased)
Steps:
1- Important: Take a full backup of HDD.
2- Plugin the USB disk then open Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool.
3- Point to WIN8.1 ISO image path and wait for the wizard to finish.
4- After the wizard completes succefully, keep the USB stick plugged in and then restart the device in UEFI mode.
( + C -> Settings -> General -> Advanced -> Restart now -> Use a device -> USB UEFI Device).
5- It shall boot from the USB device and begin Windows setup wizard.
6- Specify the preferred language and enter the license key and choose advanced installation.
7- In disk allocation wizard, delete partitions with the following labels: LENOVO, WINRE_DRV, SYSTEM_DRV
(Warning: Don't erase partition labeled PBR_DRV as this will erase the Lenovo recovery drive).
8- Select the resulted unallocated space (should be around 106 GB) and click next.
9- Now wait until Windows completes installation.
10- Customize Windows, install Windows drivers downloaded earlier and restore your backup.
11- Voila, shall you encounter any problems don't hesitate to ask me.

Sorry, forgot to mention that in order to boot from UEFI the flash drive must be formatted as FAT32. Windows USB and DVD tool supports only NTFS, So after creating the bootable image, copy all the files from the flash drive to the HDD then format the flash drive as FAT32 then copy the files back from the HDD to the flash drive. The flash drive will still be bootable.

Reset & Recovery - Steckengeblieben beim Recovery von USB

Ich musste aus bestimmten Gründne mein Tablet 2 Pro zurücksetzen und versuche mich gerade an einem ecovery von USB-Stick Windows 8, der mit dem Gerät kam.
Nachdem ich im BIOS den Start von RecoveryDevice eingestellt habe und der Wiederherstellungsprozess auch erst lief, hänge ich nun zum wiederholten Mal an dem Punkt weg an dem ich ein Windows-Setup Fenster habe in dem verschiedene Check-Punkte (Commands) abgefahren werden:
C:\SWWORK\BCD08.CMD (ist angehakt, also durch)
C:\DRIVERS\DPINST.CMD (ist angehakt, also durch)
C:\SWWORK\DOWORK.CMD (läuft)
C.\SWWORK\FINISH.CMD (steht aus)
Ein CMD-Fenster ist ebenfalls parallel offen in dem steht:
c:\windows\system32>c:\SWWORK\STATE.EXE /disk=c /w 1
C:\WINDOWS\system32> if exist c:\swwork\fixletr.cmd call c:\swwork\fixletr.cmd
... und läuft. Der USB-Stick ist weiterhin drin.
Zweimal habe ich bereits alles nach 7 Stunden Laufzeit abgebrochen und neu gestartet. Im Ergebnis, bekomme ich die Meldung, dass die Installation nicht vollständig war und ich neu starten soll. Das wiederholt sich dann unendlich.

Im englischsprachigen Forum hängen drei Leute beim gleichen Problem ohne Lösung fest.

THE 100% SOLUTION IS HERE!!!
do step by step!
1) When CMD stops press CTRL + ALT + DEL
2) Run Explorer.exe
3) Find explorer.exe and then switches to a view
4) Go to the folder where SWWORK
5) Find Disable_NIC.cmd and click Run as Admin
6) Run by type dowork.cmd then dowork 0,1,2,3,4,5,6.
7) sometimes it does not do everything to the end but do not panic leave it for 20min max and then run another dowork (if you have any left to run)
8) in the folder SWWORK at the end of installation DOWORK.CMD run Finish.CMD
9) Restart your computer (after 10min have to manually turn off and turn on "my hang up")
10) set the PC to the end of settings (background image will be black)
11) after installation is complete go to Device Manager and find drivers that are missing they are in the folder C: \ SWWORK

Wie kann ich meine Fotos von iPhoto auf einen USB Stick laden?

Hallo zusammen
Ich dachte immer der iMac ist Vorreiter in allen Belangen. Jedoch Fotos von iPhoto auf einen hundsnormalen USB Stick mit Drag and Drop funktioniert nicht. Was kann ich tun oder muss ich zu einem sauteuren iMac auch noch ein sau teures Programm kaufen damit ich Fotos von A nach B verschieben kann.

Vorab Danke für die Antwort, ich werde es heute Abend ausprobieren. Ich schätze jede Hilfe die mich
weiterbringt und wollte keinen mit meiner Ausdrucksweise beleidigen. Ich bin nur wahnsinnig entäuscht
von Apple.
Wollte für meinen Schwiegervater schnell Mal die Fotos von meinem Mac auf seinen USB Stick laden
und es hat nicht geklappt. Gestern am Abend habe es mit allen möglichen Optionen versucht und es
war wieder erfolglos. Für mich muss ein System einfach zu bedienen sein, ich sitze nicht gerne stunden-
lang vorm Computer um 100 Fotos von einem Medium auf ein anders zu verschieben, weil Mac das bei
iPhoto 8 nicht kann, das ist lächerlich und peinlich. Mein nächster Computer wird ein "herkömmliches"
Gerät sein, sicher kein iMac mehr. Mein iPhone und den Rest der Apple Welt, welchen ich besitze
schiesse ich ebenfalls in den Wind und kaufe mir lieber weniger "in Produkte" aber welche ohne grossen
Aufwand zu bedienen sind und nicht speziell gegen den Austausch mit andere SW abgesichert sind.
Apple war in den 90er Jahren dem herkömmlichen PC weit voraus und hat alle getan, damit die Apple SW
kompatibel zu PC ist. Jetzt entwickeln sie sich in die entgegengesetzte Richtung, - schade.

X230 Probleme bei Booten von Ubuntu auf dem USB-stick

Halli Hallo,
ich habe mir recht neu das ThinkPad x230 gekauft mit ausschließlich DOS Betriebssystem.
Jetzt habe ich Probleme Ubuntu 13.04 64Bit von deinem USB-Stick zu Booten. Auf dem USB-Stick (welcher im USB 2.0 slot steckt) ist lediglich die entsprechende *.iso Datei. Außerdem habe ich schon vergeblich an der "system boot capability" herum gespielt, in Bezug auf die Priorität des "Legacy bzw. UEFI Boot", sowie den "Secure Boot" an und aus gemacht.
Mir fällt nun nichts gescheites mehr ein! könnte mir vielleicht jemand helfen?

Hast Du einfach die iso Datei auf den Stick kopiert oder ihn vorher mit Grub4dos auf seine Aufgabe vorbereitet. Einfach eine iso Datei vom Stick booten kann nicht funktionieren.

USB stick to fit Yoga 11s

An unexpected issue with my Yoga 11s is that my Sandisk Cruzer Blade USB stick (the one with the all-plastic case) doesn't really fit - it is a very tight fit and won't be long before it gets damaged. It fits fine in every other USB slot I've put it into though.
So I'm going to replace it, but I'm wary of ordering a USB stick that also doesn't fit. So can recommend a USB3 compatible stick that is durable and fits into the Yoga smoothly?

For reference, it would seem that any USB peripheral that doesn't use the standard bent-metal USB plugs will be a tight fit in the Yoga, I bought a Kingston SE9H usb drive which is a great design but also doesn't fit.

Um Daten auf Ihrem USB-Stick zuzugreifen, stecken Sie es in die USB-Buchse. Ein Symbol mit Namen Ihres Stick sollte auf dem Desktop oder im Finder-Fenster angezeigt. Doppelklicken Sie einfach auf das Symbol und ein Finder-Fenster sollten den Inhalt offenbaren. von dort ist das Kopieren oder Drag-and-Drop Ihre Daten.

wäre echt cool wenn mir jmd helfen könnte.

Also, ein Neuinstallation wurde das Problem nicht behoben, so wie es versucht wird. Dafür muss man mit ein komplett neu Installation, es ist reine Festplatte, oder die Probleme identifizieren und entfernen. Auch dafür gibt es verschiedene Möglichkeiten, oder am besten vielleicht diese Methode aber nur wenn die Daten gesichert ist. Danach folgt ein komplett neue Anfang, so wie nagelneu.
Wenn nicht, ist diese auch richtig gute rat aus die Diskussionen!

Problem with T60 and USB Sticks

All -
I can't understand it but I have a huge problem with USB devices and my T60.
EVERY USB device works 100% fine - despite of USB memory/HDD/other memory devices.
Neither USB HDD or USB Sticks nor a SD drive via USB - no media is accecpted.
I always get back: "Media not formatted".
If I do format everthing works - but only with this notebook.
So I am not able to share data with other computer - or not able to get my pics from my cam...
Please can you help?

I hate to say it, but I agree with carbon_unit, this sounds like a Windows problem.
As a long shot you could try uninstalling all USB hubs in Device Manager, re-install the Chipset Drivers and restart the sytem to allow the USB hubs automatically installed again. I doubt this will help, but it's all I could think of.

Problems installing Windows 7 from a USB stick

I have got a brand new W510 that i am doing a clean install of Windows 7.
However i have faced major problems with installing from a USB stick attached to the W510.
Please notice that there isn't any problem installing Windows 7 to my other PC from this USB stick, this problem is only present with W510.
I have the BIOS from Lenovo v 1.35, Bios settting are reset to default to isolate any faulty settings.
In the readme file the say they have fixed some USB detection problems by Windows. bug still present??

Kann mir jemand (auf Deutsch) erklären, wie man für photoshop cc die installer-exe auf einen USB-Stick bekommen/downloaden kann. Habe kein Internet.

Bin z.Z. an einem Fremd-PC. Ich möchte die Trialversion von Photoshop CC gern bei mir zu hause ausprobieren. Dort habe ich aber kein Internetzugang.
Mein Wunsch wäre also, ps-CC als Installations.exe auf einem USB-Stick zu downloaden.
Adobe hat mir auf meine Anfrage bis jetzt nur mitgeteilt, dass dies prinzipiell möglich ist. Ich komme aber mit meinen geringen Kenntnissen nicht dahinter, wo/wie ich die
Installer-exe finden kann.

Dateien auf USB-Stick

Hallo Adobe Experten,
ich habe folgendes Problem:
Ich arbeite immer mal wieder in der Firma an einem PC, auf dem die Creative Suite Master CS4 installiert ist. Ich selbst arbeite nicht mit den Programmen, habe aber ein Problem mit den Eigenheiten.....
und zwar legt der PC immer wenn ich einen USB-Stick oder eine Speicherkarte anschließe auf den Medien automatisch 2 Dateien ab. Und zwar "Winlog.exe" und "Autorun.inf", wobei die Winlog Datei ein Adobe Installationsicon hat. Wenn ich nun diesen Stick in einen PC stecke, auf dem die Programme nicht installiert sind, wird er nicht mehr erkannt und seitdem kommt auf dem PC bei jedem Einschalten eine Fehlermeldung, dass Teile von Photoshop nicht korrekt installiert wurden. Blöd ist nur, dass auf dem PC noch nie Photoshop drauf war.
Interessanterweise, kommt die Meldung auf dem PC, auf dem die Suite drauf ist, nach dem Booten auch.
Meine Frage ist nun: Wie bekomme ich die Meldung auf meinem PC (ohne CS4 Programme) weg? Und optional, wie geht die Meldung beim Firmenrechner mit Suite CS4 weg? Der Admin meinte er habe das Paket schon mehrfach installiert und auch den PC formatiert, doch das Problem würde immer wieder auftauchen. Die Programme laufen jedoch alle einwandfrei, nur die Meldung beim Hochfahren kommt....
...soooo viel Verwirrung, hat jemand eine Idee?

Edit: Apple Quicktime installiert, und siehe da, es geht. Wurde mir während der Installation von Adobe Premiere angeboten,
aber ich hatte das Programm immer als unnütze Hogware in Erinnerung, wozu wenn VLC oder Mplayer eh alles abspielen, und
nicht installiert.

Öffne Finder - Einstellungen - Allgemein und clicke die Dinge an, die Du auf dem Desktop/Schreibtisch angezeigt haben möchtest.
USB-Sticks fallen unter die "Externe Festplatten"-Kategorie
Die Grundeinstellung von Snow Leopard und Lion ist, das gar nichts angezeigt wird.

U330 Touch nach Start vom USB-Stick gesperrt

Beim Booten von einem USB-Stick kam die Meldung, das eine Sperre auf Grund eines EFI-Fehlers auftritt. Jetzt läßt sich der Laptop nicht mehr anschalten. Wie kann ich das beheben? Vielen Dank!

Hallo GuG, sorry, ich war ein paar Tage nicht da.
Ich finde, es liegt ein Problem mit der Ladeelektronik oder allgemein ein elektrostatischer Fehler vor, wahrscheinlich verursacht von der USB-Buchse, als der Stick verbunden oder getrennt wurde. Alles andere würde zumindest eine Bildschirmanzeige mit Fehler o.ä. liefern.
Es kann jetzt noch eine Reststromentladung helfen. Dazu müsstest du aber die Untersteite aufschrauben und den Akku einmal abklemmen (HMM S.35+36). Dann in diesem völlig stromlosen Zustand nochmal den Einschaltknopf für 10-20 sek gedrückt halten, Akku wieder anstecken, alles verschrauben und das Einschalten versuchen.
