Wife Receives MSM Messages via Email

I'm sure there's a setting somewhere that needs to be changed, but I can't find it.
Sometimes when I send my wife a text message, she receives it on her phone. Other times, she does not receive the message on her phone, but instead receives an email with the text message includes.
We both have 3Gs, and this does not happen with my phone.

I noticed just yesterday that my wife's texts to me were coming to my email and not MMS app. the problem was when she selected me from the "to" box, she selected my email by accident. There is no way to see this once you hit send cuz it only shows the name. Try making a new conversation and be sure to check that you have selected the mobile # and not the email address. This might not be your problem but it ended up being mine.

How to send a text message via email

I researched and did some trials and found out i can send multimedia messages via email and not text..
MMS - 10 Digit [email protected] - WORKS !!
Text mail - 10 Digit [email protected] - DOESN'T Work.
Can someone help ?

Help with what? It looks like it's working exactly as it's supposed to.
If you want to send a plain text message, no formatting, no signature, no smilies, no extra anything, then use plain text mode and send it via vtext.com If there is a picture, or it's an html email, it needs to be sent via vzwpix.com.

I am still in the return window but i really do not want to return my mac as i know it has the ability to do what i want, my problem is just finding the software that will work as i know there has been a lot of complications with OS X Mountain Lion with softwares that caim to be compatible but then later turn out not to be.
I have been a windows user for years and this is really my first mac but apart from the hole software issue i find the mac 10x better than any windows computer i have ever used. For example i bought a HP laptop 4 weeks ago and has nothing but problems. At first the fans stopped working and making weird noises and then it began switching off when ever it felt like it and freezing like mad when i was trying to access the smallest program. I have found that now a days you dont get what you pay for with Windows especially since Windows 8 was released. Also Laptops such as HP now are just crammed with cheap parts, they dont take pride in their systems like they once used to unlike Apple. I know i will get more than a year or 2 out my mac (hopefully a lot more) but with windows systems it just seems to break all the time costing more money on extending warrantys. Also i like mac because i dont need to send it away if i ever get a problem, i can just take it into the apple shop half a mile down the road and they will fix it in store. Where as with windows i am waiting 2 weeks+ to just hear back from them.

Error message received submitting form via email - "Acrobat cannot connect to the server"

Some of my users are unable to submit form data. The forms are set up to be submitted via email and only a few of the users are effected. They have installed the latest versions of both Acrobat and Adobe Reader.
"Acrobat cannot connect to the server, but will automatically submit your form once the server is online. You can check tracker for the status of this submission."
"You have already submitted the data on this form and it is waiting to be sent. Further changes are not allowed until the prior data is sent."
I know that this question has been asked before, but there has not been a response. This is very frustrating.

I have this exact same error, but also have not yet found a workaround.
Only sporatic users get the error, and I've been unable to duplicate it from my machine. I am on Adobe Reader v 10.1.2.
Actually I can get around the error if I were to downgrade to Adobe v9, but that is a bandaid fix - not really a secure answer.

Iphone4 won't text to wife's iphone4 only via email

My wife and I both got 4's. Her's was an upgrade, mine is new. For some reason she can text me via messages but when I text her it doesn't work but shows it sent. If I send a text via email it works.
Thoughts?

Another thing, I just went to settings and then messages...our set up is different. She has iMessage-on then under SMS/MMS-MMS Messaging-on Group Messaging-On, Show Subject, off, Character Count-off

Send receipts-off
Send as SMS-off
Receive at-2 addresses
Then it is the same as my wifes

I'm have a problem using the Share command when using my iPhoto software. After selecting a photo and entering the email addresses I press Send and receive the message. "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination". I've gone into my iPhone Account Settings and deleted the original account and then re-entered the information into a new account with negative results. I have been using the Share feature for more than a year and have had no problems up until two days ago.
I use MS Outlook and have no problem sending/receiving/forwarding regular emails. Thank you for any help you can afford me.

You mean, you entered the Account setting again in iPhoto's Preferences?
Then try, if deleting your account password in your Keychain will help.
Quit your mail program. Launch Keychain Access from the "Applications > Utilities" folder and select "Password" in the "Categories" brick. Delete the password for your email account. (right click the email address to bring up the contextual menu and select "delete").

Yes, and you can turn wi-fi access on after enabling airplane mode if you want or need internet access via an available wi-fi network.

There are two places where vibrations can be set.
One is the Settings > Sounds
The other area is Settings > Notifications
If you have an app set to Alert, it may have a vibration set for it.

Not receiving inbox messages & one email I've sent keeps bouncing back bogging up my i

Hello.
I have a new MACBOOK PRO and I love it BUT.....
I have been having one specific email bounce back into my inbox (recovered messages section) over 1,000x's a day.
I keep deleting the messages and emptying the trash to try to stop it but its not working!!!
I contacted the person who i sent the email too and told them what was happening. Their response was, "its not coming from this end, check with your web guy..." UGH!!!
I am now not receiving any new incoming messages and I have had to result in using my iphone to check my inbox, every day!!
How do I fix this problem? OR......Should I just make a Genius appointment?? LOL

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup
Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist.

Receiving, saving pictures via email (Pre)

My friend took a picture from his iPhone and emailed it to me via my yahoo account. The email & picture came across displayed fine on the Pre. But I can't save it to the phone. The picture does not show up as an attachment via the email client on the Pre. If I go onto the browser and go to my Yahoo email via the browser, then I can see it as an attachment. But then WebOS still cannot save the pic locally.
Is there a way to do this?
Or should I file a suggestion for improvement?
I experimented with Gmail and got the same results.

Maybe its an Iphone thing? I know I just tried between me and my wifes pre's. Gmail, and att account (yahoo). And it works fine. Sent image as attachment. Email shows there is an attachment and when you click it it starts downloading. Once its done, click it again and it opens the image. With a button that says "Copy to Phone"

Need to Receive Full Form via Email

I've built a form in Acrobat 9, published it to a website so users can enter info and submit the completed form back to my email address. What I receive is a list of the fields and corresponding data that was entered - unformatted. What I want to receive is the filled out form in its entirety, just as it looks on the screen, so if I wanted to print it out, it would look like the original form instead of a list of fields and data.

The data files are not limited to the 500 limit. The 500 limit comes from the need to save the full PDF file. The save's are what kick in the limit. To get the FDF file, create the form in AcroForms (basically used the form tools under the TOOLS menu, not the FORMS menu. The forms menu takes you to Designer and only allows full PDF file or XML, possibly a few more (not sure). I generally use FDF with AcroForms. The file info is apparently stored in the FDF file and so when the FDF file is selected, it opens in the PDF. At least I understand your why, but suggest that the FDF may be a solution. Another solution would be to submit the data by web script and use the FDF toolbox to deal with the end result. I am not very familiar with the FDF toolbox, but it might be able to put the data back in the form and provide the full result to your client. At least it might be worth looking at. You could probably do the same thing with the XML files also. What I am suggesting should be doable, but I have no clue about the process. With full processing power, I think you can deal with it all. It might be that some of the folks in the scripting forum could help, though this is not really a scripting issue, but a form data processing issue.
As I recall, you were using the e-mail submission. For a web application that is very dangerous. The ability to send a form (or data) by e-mail from a PDF depends on the client mail setup. It requires MAPI and not all folks use MAPI compliant email. Thus the form submission may fail for some and it is not the fault of the creator, but of the e-mail client setup (you have NO control there in most cases). In such a case, you might have some irate users.

Just got the LG G2 and it will not allow me to upload pictures to FB. I can send and receive picture messages via texting but that is it. I've tried a hard reset twice, I've uninstalled FB and reinstalled it, and I've tried uploading it 3 different ways--

Really sounds like you are doing it right, but the FB app is notorious for being buggy after each update, which is fairly frequent. Try to upload via the FB webpage in Chrome on the phone. You can try the mobile or desktop verion of the page by tapping menu settings in the browser. Its a little different but it'll let you know if its the app or the phone.
