WiFi 802.1x - keeps thinking it is WEP

Hello,
I have just upgraded my iPod Touch to 3.1 and there continues to be a problem getting 802.1x (with machine certificate) working. The interface keeps thinking that the network is WEP enabled (I told it the network was WPA2 in iPhone Configuration Utility) and prompts me for a password!
Help.
Thanks,

Did you set it for WPA2-psk or WPA2-enterprise? WPA2 does require a password if you are using the psk version. I've never setup an enterprise version of it so I can't help you with that but a password prompt doesn't seem out of the question either.
