Wifi and bluetooth turned gray and not working
while staying in a hotel my ipod stopped connecting to wifi and would not let me do anything til i synced.when i got home i had to restore but now my wifi and bluetooth have turned gray and are unresponsive.i have restored several times even as a new device but still the same.
Try here. However, frequently it is a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

HT5595 Lock screen and Bluetooth Music controls do not work
Immediately after installing IOS 7 (on about 9/19), I noticed that the lock-screen access to Music was not working. I could change the volume and timepoint of a song that was already playing, but the play/pause, forward and rewind buttons did not work. Some posters suggested that a restore would fix the problem, so I restored and am now at 7.0 (11A465). After the restore, the controls worked for a day or two, but stopped working again. And I've noticed that the same functions are not working with Bluetooth in my car.
BTW: the restore did not preserve the set of downloaded e-mail. Those messages are gone, so far as I can tell.Mine work. Depending on the app being used, it may take several seconds for the play button to work. After that initial delay, you should be good to go.

my bluetooth says 'Not Available' how do i get it to work again. I have restarted the computer several times and have replaced the batteries in both the keyboard and mouse and yet it still is not working! please help
I have had the same problem. It was cured by turning computer off and/or restarting it. I am not sure if once was enough. I think shutting down must cut out whatever it is that blocks bluetooth. Good luck

I have iOS7 on my iPhone4. I turned on the Voice Over option and now my phone is not working at all. At first it was freezing and not accepting any commands. Now all I have is a blank sceen. I can't get back into it. Any ideas what happened here?

-When it says place the iPod in recovery mode use this program instead of the buttons.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
after that click okay when it says itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. Then click restore

After updating OS X 10.8.5, bluetooth is not available in the menu bar.
The Magic Mouse is recognized and working but the bluetooth mouse functions do not work.
I have downloaded and installed 10.8.5 combo but it does not help.

My shift-r, right shift-f, and right shift-v is not working.
I've seen questions in the forum about shift-r not working, I've looked into my system preferences and it appears there are no short cuts associated with shift-r. My right shift-f and right shift-v are not working either. I'm using a new iMac (10.7.2) with the bluetooth keyboard that came with it. If I use caps lock I can get capital R, F and V. It's very strange. I'm assuming it's a setting that's messed up versus a bum keyboard? Thanks for any help you can give!
Good deal, glad it's taken care of. I had a wireless keyboard on which the caps lock key stayed lit all the time, even though it did turn the lock on and off. And sometimes it wouldn't light at all. I took it (just the keyboard) to a local AASP and they checked it out and called to say my new keyboard was ready to be picked up.

I'm having the same problem with my 4S. I have to constantly reboot my iMac or turn off my phone a few times to get it to sync. Before when I had 5.1.1 everything seemed to work just fine. I'm sure its a bug......

It sounds like the function to reseize the Font in an iBook is not functioning properly.
I recommend a few things here. First close all the apps that are running in the background:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.

Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
3. Install another app from the App Store
If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. 4. Restart the app
If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
5. Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.

I tried updating my iPod, and ever since it has not worked at all. If I hold in the lock & home button, it will tell me to plug it into iTunes. Once I do that, it says it will restore but every time, restoring it fails. My iPod is not working at all, and I really have no idea what to do. It is just a black screen, and occasionally the white apple will appear as if it were turning on, but it won't turn on. I just need some suggestions on what to do!

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
