Wifi and mobile data problems

I am reporting a problem regarding the wifi and mobile data on my Xperia Z1. Whenever I lock my phone, the wifi and mobile data keeps turning on by itself again and again. I have tried to turning the "automatic turn on wifi when sleep" to "never" but it keeps turning "always" whenever I lock my phone, so does the mobile data. I look forward to some replies.

You might need tocharge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery. Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device). Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process. If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose

WIFI and mobile data connections not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Bluetooth not working in car. Any solution?

After installed iOS7 I am facing the following two problems:
1. WIFI as well as mobile data connection are working fine at my home. But, not connecting with any other outside WIFI networks. Error message is 'unable to join network'. Mobile data also not connected outside my home. Sometimes wifi and mobile data connect outside my home when I turn off and on the phone.
2. Bluetooth, in my car, paires well and incoming and out going calls can be received and made. The problem is no sound out put from speakers.
Apple please make note of the above problems (of million people) and give solution before giving any other updations for painting and tinkering the screens.

When I open firefox android, my wifi and mobile data switch off on HTC one M7

I cannot surf the net with firefox on my HTC one M7 as of this week.
Every time I open the browser, it closes my wifi and mobile data, meaning I get the error 'server not found'
i tried removing it and all its add ons, then re-installing...
Just the same.
Anyone help please?

Cannot connect to the internet via wifi and mobile data

im having hard time connecting to the internet even if wifi has a very strong signal as indicated on the phone..i tried every solution that i found in the internet but to no avail..i tried restarting my phone..i tried turning the airplane mode on then switching the wifi on but still unsuccessful..even mobile data isnt working..i configured the apn manually applying the recommendations of the network provider but its still offline..how am i gonna connect to the internet..help me pls..thanks

After the latest 7.0.3 update, on an iPhone 4, if both wifi and mobile data are on, Safari launches but freezes. It's ok with just wifi or just mobile data turned on but not with both on at the same time!

Any one else having this problem?

Wifi turns off and mobile data turns by itself.

Like I said, Wifi turns off and mobile data turns on by it self. I have actually see it do this while I am using it. I am getting sick of having to back into setting to turn mobile data off and wifi back on. My phone started doing this a couple months ago and is doing it more and more frequently wasting all my mobile data. I have had the phone a little over a year. I'm not sure much can be solved in the forums but I also don't know how to contact Blackberry Support as they seem to just direct people here. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Oh wow...that's a really ancient OS. There was one more in the 10.2.1 branch after that, then the entire 10.2.2 branch, followed by 10.3.0, 10.3.1, and now 10.3.2...so you are perhaps 25, maybe 50 updates behind now? Not surprising that you are suffering from problems that have likely been cleared up since. I cannot recall specifically if the problem you are reporting was in that specific OS version...it's been way too long since I used it (I'm on 10.3.2.840 now, on all 3 of my devices). Regarding the space issue, refer:Article ID: KB36394 Unable to upgrade to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.1 or later due to insufficient spaceHowever, given your ancient OS, it is rather likely that you will have trouble with updating, especially in regards to backup/restore of your data. It has been reported that some who jump too far ahead find that their data cannot be restored to the updated device OS. So, to prepare, I advise you the following:Use LINK to conduct a full backup to your PCManually copy the entire contents of Device Memory to your PCPurchase and use Ultimate Backup to backup your data to your media cardPrepare full manual documentation of all configurations, account credentials, added apps, etc. (in case, in the worst case scenario, you cannot restore from backup and have to manually reconfigure everything)Hopefully this advice is way more conservative than you require...but better safe than sorry. I am facing wifi and mobile 2G signal issue after upgrading to IOS 6 from IOS 5 in IPhone 3GS. The mobile carrier signal as well as WIFI suddenly drops zero and are then restored automatically. Sometimes i cannot conenct to WIFI even standing infront of WIFI router. Please help, restoring setting even didn't helped.

Update: my phone's connecting to the WiFi again. I don't know what did the trick. I did nothing since reinstalling the software. It hadn't worked then, it is now. I tried connecting to my dad's phone's hotspot( he uses a Moto G), and it worked. I then tried connecting to the WiFi at a friend's house, and when I came back home, my phone was able to connect to my WiFi! Is it of any significance that my friend's router doesn't require a password? My issue has been resolved( for now; I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they've hatched). For anyone facing a similar issue, I suggest you try everything I did:
1. Turn your router off for a minimum of 30 seconds, turn it back on and try connecting.
2. Click on the WiFi network you are connected to, scroll to the bottom, tap "Renew Lease".
3. Do a soft and hard reset.
4. Reset network settings.
5. Back your data up, erase all content from settings menu, restore from backup.
6. Reinstall your software( put it in recovery mode).
I am not sure which of the above worked for me. Make sure you try everything. If none of the above works, take it to a genius bar or an authorised service provider. Good luck! :)

Why can't I play downloaded podcasts with WiFi and Cell Data turned off?

I'm on a limited data plan and want to ensure I'm not downloading or streaming podcasts when I'm not on WiFi. It appears I have several podcasts downloaded (Blue Dot next to the title) but I'm not sure.... When I turn off WiFi and Cell Data, the podcasts grey out and are unable to play. Why would I not be able to play a downloaded podcast while I'm off the network (both WiFi and Cell data)?

Update.... Apparently the blue dot just indicates whether or not you've listened to the particular podcast or not, regardless of it's download status. After playing with the app more, it also appears that many podcasts are not downloading to the device as I thought. When I turn on Airplane mode, many podcasts are not playable (greyed out) but some that I have already listened to are playable. I'm assuming the podcasts that are playable when on airplane mode are the only ones that are actually downloaded to the device (this makes sense doesn't it?). So now my question is, "why aren't these podcasts being downloaded after I press the download button?". They seem to play OK in streaming mode, either from WiFi or Cell Network. Any insights?

I have Enable 3G option and Mobile Data

Just curious as to how I have Enable 3G and Mobile Data options in the network settings. I have various friends with Iphone 4/4S but they only have Mobile Data/Celluar Data only. I can enable Mobile Data only which gives me extended.
Just curious as to why iPhones can be different.
These are UK based iPhones.

There is no memory card in the iPhone.

Use of Push Notifications between Wifi and Cell Data

Is there a way to set the phone to automatically have push notifications turn ON when you're on WiFi and OFF when you're on cell data? I dont mind recieving them, but it would be nice if there was a preference to recieve them only when on WiFi. Anyone know how to do that?

Wifi and number transfer problems

I got my new sim last Wednesday,I started number transfer on Thursday morning and was told it would be done by Friday.
I put new sim in phone and it was working fine until 2 hours and I get a text saying I have used all my data even though I have 2gb.
I went into ee shop on Saturday to be told my sim card had a technical problem and I'd need a new replacement.
When I went in today I got told my number will be transferred over tomorrow, but I still have no mobile data and keep getting text to say I've run out of data.

If its an iPhone your settings will be sent to you via a carrier update. Please go to Settings>General>About to see if an update is available.
Do you have the My EE app installed on your phone?
If not please text APP to 150. Once installed you can check your data allowance. Does this show you have data remaining?

Goods Receipt and Goods Issue - Posting Date and Document Date Problem

Hi All,
I was using SDK to build own add on to insert Posting Date and Document Date under Inventory> Inventory Transactions> Goods Receipt and Inventory> Inventory Transactions> Goods Issue, but the UI Screen Posting Date and Document Date shown current date.
My SAP Business One version was 2007A SP00 PL42 and alreadly upgrade to SP05.
End up result still the same.
Is there someone can help me?

Actually is i call the initialization twice:

There should be a way to easly switch between wifi and cellular data

I think apple should put wifi icon and cellular data icon on the notification bar so we can change between them easily or even closing them both. So other smart phone like Samsung did it from a long time and its really easier way so Apple as the greatest company in the smart phones field should do something for this ..

Skype Abroad - No Wifi and No Data Roaming

I will be going on a trip to Turkey in a few weeks, and I am trying to understand if I can make calls with the Skype app on my Droid without a wifi connection and with data roaming turned off. I thought I read somewhere that Skype has it's own 3G network or some other method that I can use to make calls with the Skype app. I would be buying Skype credit in advance. Is what I am saying possible?
My goal is to be able to use Skype to make phone calls without wifi and without getting charged for data roaming by cell phone carrier. Thank you for your help.

The poster was asking how he can use Skype app abroad, without roaming charges, without any internet connection. This is not possible, unfortunately.
If we are talking about SGO usage in Turkey, this won't work either, as there are no local SGO numbers there.

Issues on the Lumia 800 with "WIFI" and "Mobile ne...

I keep my Lumia 800 on 2G/E at all times usually to conserve battery life, and because i'm at work with a wifi connection all day..occasionally when i go out i like to turn on the 3G and use the map functions etc.
The problem occurs after a while that i notice the 3G draining my battery quite quickly, so i decide i want to turn off the 3G, i go to the "Mobile network" entry under "settings" and when i tap it, nothing happens at all, i also notice my WIFI is turned off, so i tap the "WIFI" entry, and again nothing happens!
So, to solve this problem i have to turn the phone off...but then it takes maybe 10 mins or so till i can turn it back on, it will not turn on straight away!! I have to either wait ten mins or keep pressing the power button and holding it down untilt he phone eventually vibrates to tell me its turning on..whats going on??
If anyone can shed some light on this matter i'd be very grateful!
