Wifi apps in store of nokia asha 230

my phone nokia asha 230has not support wifi..but in nokia store there have many apps about wifi like wifi optimizer,wifi locator,etc.why?

Hello, subhajit_1234. You're right that your phone doesn't support Wi-Fi connection. But, most of the apps in the Nokia Store related to Wi-Fi connection is for tips and for reference only. Anyway, thanks for your feedback. We really appreciate it.

Thanks for the info, vskr99090. Were you able to perform the suggestion given by tiny_chef? Is there any difference? You may also try resetting the phone's settings. This does not affect the documents or files stored on the phone. Go to Settings > Restore factory sett. > enter the personalize security code. Note that the default code is 12345. Make sure as well that your phone has the latest software. Here's how to check and update the phone's software: Software Update for Asha and Series 40 phones.

Copy and paste option in Nokia Asha 230 Dual Sim M...

In Nokia Asha 230 Dual Sim Mobile, there is no option to Copy or paste either in Messaging, or in Forwarding, or in Editing, or in Notes or in Calendar. Option for Inserting characters and deleting characters are available. How to Copy and Paste, in Messaging, in Forwarding, from Message to Notes etc., Please suggest.

Did you update the application before it disappeared. If yes you will find it in the games & collection folder of the phone.
@Khanjan_701Asha 302 is a s40 phone so Netquinn apps will work on it.

Just succesfully downloaded Hike from the link below. But it loads and displays '' Pulling out digits '' . Immediately it says Something went wrong. Why is it so???
Mobile Data was on too.

I think only with themes, you can change the colours and look of your home screen.
Select Menu > Settings and Themes.
Select Select theme > Themes and a theme from the list.
or try downloading more themes from Nokia Store.

Problem with Nokia Asha 200 apps

Hello guys,
I am using Nokia Asha 200 and i am quite satisfy with this phone. The only drawback that i can find is that i cannot ue it social prebuild apps, like Social and i cannot use the e-mail app as well.
When i open them and accept the license, i am waiting for the software to connect to internet and update it self's, but this never happen. I tried to wait for the apps to finish with there updates but after 10 minutes of inactivity it become clear that it will never happened.
In comparison when i am using the Nokia Web Browser i don't have any problems with opening web pages. The difference between the browser and the apps is that when i browse i see on the top left part of the screen the "E" symbol which indicates that the phone is connected to Edge network, but when i use Social, E-mail or even other apps i had downloaded from Ovi store i am not able to use them. For instance most apps i had download indicate me network connectivity problems. The only app i can use with my 3G internet is Nokia browser.
My software version is:10.58.

You have two options to resolve the issue:
Update the phone's software.
Ask for the configuration settings from your network provider.

Same here, when I go for that 4shared app in the Nokia Store. When I download that JAD directly via the Internet (Nokia Xpress browser) and http://store.ovi.com/content/536062/Download I get:

That is nice, because this app was not signed by its author but by the Nokia Store team with the ‘Nokia Online CA I’. Then on my computer, I downloaded that JAD, placed it on a microSD, inserted that microSD into my Nokia Asha 503, and installed via Files » Memory card » 4shared_Mobile_0_5_3: It installed successfully and works! However, it was not placed into the manufacturer domain but in the third-party domain.
I have no idea what is wrong with this app, yet. Please, let the examples come in! Perhaps more examples, we find a pattern together.

Conflicting app, nokia asha 210

i am using nokia asha 210 and after i upgrade the mail app, the phone is showing "conflicting application" every time i switched on my phone and every time i tried to open other application such as whatsapp (which is the only one working after the upgrade). plus, all other apps such as youtube, the inbuilt nokia browser, and the "mail" itself is not opening, and also other downloaded apps like uc browser etc. therefore i tried updating the device by going to the settings and after i downloaded all the software, it says it requires 5 mb to install the software but even after i delete everything what i can from my phone, there still isn't enough space left to install the software. and in the following link http://discussions.nokia.com/t5/Asha-and-other-Nokia-Series-30/Conflicting-apps-nokia-browser-nokia-... this guy is suggesting to 1) Remove the existing Nokia Xpress Browser installation. 2) Open the regular web browser or access Nokia Store App and download the Opera Mini Client. 3) Enter http://download.browser.ovi.com on the address bar and enter. but we don't have the option to delete the inbuilt softwares, do we? give me an idea how to do if thats possible. but now i need help on how to stop encountering this conflicting app and what can i do to open other applications.

Conflicting applications normally indicates a corrupted the file system, especially if more than one app is affected. Because the Nokia Series 40 internal reset/restore feature is not able to re-build its file system: Did you consider to go for the Software Recovery Tool via a Windows computer already?

Not from within the phone, only via MobiMB. Anyway, that step is wrong. The suggestion is to replace/overwrite the existing Nokia Xpress installation via the manual download. That suggestion was originally made here …

How to uninstall apps in my Nokia Asha N303

I just bought a Nokia Asha N303. I'd like to uninstall some apps which I am not using anyway. Can you please tell me how to uninstall apps in my phone model.

Go to Solution.

Just use options and select delete to remove the apps or games. As I said, you can similarly remove Angry Birds trial version by deleting it directly using options menu. If it fails to be deleted, then obviously you cannot delete it.
You can also backup everything on your phone to your memory card by using sync and backup option in settings.
You can also move your apps and games especially downloaded from Nokia store application to your memory card to have some internal memory free.
