Wifi Button Not working

I have (unfortunately) iphone 4S 16GB IOS 8.1.2.
As i updated the Personal Hotspot was gone.
It was working good but then the WIFI toggle Got grayed out, got unavailable...
I have restored Network Setting, but no use.
I have tried All Reset that you have given there but it didn't work.
Can u call me?? *******

Sorry, but it looks like your device getting replaced by Apple is the only option if you want a phone that is working without problems.
But, since your device is out of warranty, you'll have to pay the Out-Of-Warranty-Service fee:

Wifi button not working despite ios restore

wifi button isn't worked.
tried network restore, tried full restore, tried re-installing i06. all failed to repair. any ideas?

Ralph is right about the airplane mode. Weird solution, but it works. I had the same problem and googled it and saw that before. This week it happens again, and the airplane mode thing didnt work so I had to go to settings, general, reset, and reset all settings. This is not a factory reset like it is on iTunes, so don't worry, nothing isn't gone except your pic on the wallpaper. Then wifi button is back, but don't forget to go through all your settings and put them back the way you like. ;)
Unfortunately, I've had this problem alot in the past two days and it is also shutting down by itself. I've also deleted the cookies and it don't bed an update, so I'm not sure why it keeps acting up this week :(

satellite a665 s5186: Windows 10 upgrade. Eco, wifi, turn lights on,off, pause/play, mute, turn touch pad on/off not working. + and - volume keys work. Wifi is my priority (all others irrelevant). fn+f8 or f8 not turning wifi on. Device Manager recognizes Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000, can't turn wifi on. Is there a driver for these buttons or is there a way to turn wifi radio on with out keyboard button? Currently installed driver Intel(R)PROSet/Wireless Wireless_16.11.0_Ds64 (version 15.11.0.7). A USB wifi adapter working fine.Thank You.

C:/Program Files/TOSHIBA/TBS/TBSWireless.exe Double click the TBSWireless.exe application, this will manually turn wifi on and off. I will try some other things in a attemp to regain button function. I will let you know if I'm successful.

I tried all of that. And nothing worked but iread somewhere that some people have put their phones in the freezer and the fridge and they worked! I didn't do that but when i went out twice yesterday in cooler weather the phone started working! And it's been working since then but when i made a 10min phone call and it heated up wifi switched off again! Bizarre.

Wifi Sync not working on iOS 6 and iTunes 10.7 with iPhone 4S

I am running Windows 7 64-bit but WiFi Sync is not working on either my iPhone 4S or my wife's iPhone 4S. Worked fine before upgrading. All settings look correct in iTunes 10.7 and on our iPhones 4S's. Already tried uninstalling iTunes and all associated Apple programs (Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, etc) and reinstalling iTunes but no help. Temporarily disabling Norton Firewall did not help. If I hook up either of our two 4S phones via USB wire, they Sync and Backup fine. Just WiFi Sync not working. Can't initiate sync from iPhones because button is ghosted stating it is waiting for PC to be present. Phones don't show up under Devices in iTunes unless hard-wired via USB cable. Any suggestions?

One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

Wifi is not working properly once i updated to the new operating system.

My I pphone 4s wifi is not working properly once the softwere is updated to the new IOS.
It shows the wifi but when selected its says "unable to connect". I tried connecting to many wifi networks but gives the same error message.

i had a problem with my wifes iphone 4s, today morning while travelling to work i changed a setting on repeat option and changed it to repeat artist, it was fine until when i finish my work and on my way back i found songs are not playing anymore, lots of stop signs next to my song list, play/pause button not working, album arkwork keep moving from one to another on its own, so after i reach home i try to do some research on Apple support communities, try to soft reset my phone closing all the apps on background didnt work, also note that control centre music player was not working as well. none of the solutions worked. after trying for two hours i found out that the trouble is in repeat options , so i changed it from repeat artist to repeat off. and the music start playing as usual, but i still have those stop buttons next to the songs i tried to play earlier. At least it fixed temporarily. please also note that in the meantime i tried to sync my phone with the pc and suddenly its start syncing all the songs again assuming there were no songs on my iphone. so guys i think soft reset might not help all the time but try to remember what settings you changed recently and change it back to the original option, not sure ,but it might help.

Hello again samyak. You are very welcome!
The first device (the virtual adapter) is virtual network which allows you to use the computer as a "software router." Unless you're using this PC as an Access Point this device is useless to you. This article has more information on the service. Your best bet is to just disable it. Try the following.
Click Start, go to "All Programs," and select "Accessories."
Right click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator."
Type the command "netsh wlan set hostednetwork [mode=disallow] and press Enter. This should disable the virtual adapter.
Exit Command Prompt, reboot the computer, and verify that the device is no longer listed.
The device with the "ACPI/HPQ0004" ID actually returned two results. The first was the Quick Launch Button software. The other was related to Hard Drive Protection. Try this driver.
Make sure to reboot after all of these instructions have been completed. Then go back to Device Manager and verify whether everything looks as it should.
