Wifi dropping and asking for password all the time

Hi,
My (27 Mid 2010) iMac keeps dropping its internet connection every time I switch it on or wake it from sleep. It also recently started asking for password each time i try to connect and I havent found a way to stop it asking.

Apple ID pops up asking for password all the time which I type in, I know correclty, however a screen afterwards pops up saying 'password incorrect'. I've had to change my password continuously as whenever I try to sign in through the Apple website it too tells me my password is incorrect. I'm worried that my Apple ID is being hacked or there is some glitch or virus occuring. What should I do? Also lately there has been a similar occurence with Game Center, whereby it will pop up in a few of mu games every 2-5 minutes, I don't use Game Centre but my sister does. I'm not entirely sure from your description exactly what is going on. However, if you are being asked for the password for your Apple ID (be sure it's the right one) and the password that should work is being rejected, one strong possibility is that someone has hacked your Apple ID. They may do this in order to purchase apps, music, movies, etc, on your credit, which can then be used (though not updated) even after you change your password. Check your purchase history for any unusual purchases. Change your password (which may require a call to Apple if you no longer know the current password) and consider enabling two-factor authentication to protect against any future unauthorized changes to your Apple ID. AOL asking for password all the time

Hi,
Everytime I log onto iChat with my .mac account (the only one set up on my compter) I have to enter my password to allow me to connect to AOL AIM. I have tried saving the password in my keychain but it still keeps on coming up. My password is less than 16 characters, as I heard that was a problem with AOL. Does anyone have any way of getting rid of this?

Welcome to the Apple Discussion Pages
If you go to iChat > Preferences > Account and click on the Account and then look at the Account info on the right is the password dots there ?
IF you log that account out of AIM and re-enter the password does it stick ?
You may have to delete com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist
This file is in Users/(your acount)/Library/Preferences.
Restart iChat afterwards. Yu are likely to be sent back to do the Startup screens.

Do you have a Mac or idevice for setting up the Express? It does require a later utility than is available for windows.
You might be able to setup with the v5 utility in windows but there is no guarantee.
You should use a simple name both for the base and the wireless. eg AEXgen2 base name and AEXwifi for wireless name.. that is if you get access.

Computer stopped asking for password all the sudden

Hi, i have my iMac 24 late 2006 model set up to ask for password upon waking up from sleep or screen saver, been working fine for the last 3 months but all the sudden today i noticed when i tapped the space bar the screen by passed the password request, how strange, anyone know what i can do about this?
I ran disk utilities, nothing changed
Restarted, nothing changed
Restarted with LEO OSX install DVD and disk utilities, nothing changed
checked the settings in security over and over, nothing changed

Well, my phones like 3 years old...and latley it's been lagging, turning it's self off, not sending my messages, when I call other people it doesn't go through, and if it does they can barly hear me. I thought it was my sim card so I got a new one and it's not. Then My phone is almost always looking for signal evem in places I always have it. Which needless to say is draining my battery pretty bad. If anyone has any information on what I can do please help. I'm getting a new Iphone when the new one comes out, but i just want help on how to make this one useful for now.

Try restore your phone back to factory setting through itunes. if that doesnt work or even before that call your service provider since they provide the network they will have some steps to try. if those fall then its hardware most likely

As long as you share that AppleID for iCloud, you cannot. You are sharing a a single iCloud account and sync services. The only thing you can do is get a second AppleID and use it with iCloud - you do not have to use that new AppleID for anything but iCloud (ie. you can still share an AppleID for iTunes and App store purchases).
P.S. I am assuming you both want to sync your contacts with iCloud?

- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

This is not the problem, may be a feature.

Your question is quite vague, but if I am right then, go to Tools> Options and then "Security" Tab then select "Saved Passwords" and you should find all the passwords you have saved for websites so far. If its an issue with the master passwords that is for Firefox itself, then the Master Passwords option is right above this. Have a look at the image below.

Yes, he purchased Mountain Lion on his Apple ID. It is licensed to him. What he should have done was erase the HDD and install the system that the Mac shipped with. Erase and re-install either from Recovery Partition or the disks the Mac originally shipped with. Then, purchase ML with your own Apple ID and install.

Here is what I did to fix it on Win 7 64-bit system:
Computer > C: > Program Files
Delete the Oberon Games File
If you have a Program Files (x86), delete it there, too.

Entry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. CoreMedia.dll is part of Apple Application Support.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.

Why does the forum log me out so quickly, requiring me to re-enter my ID & password all the time? When I reply to a post I also have to re-enter both items. Even my online banking is saavy enough to reconnize me and autofil my ID.

It works for me. This looks like some browser issue. Try Clearing browser cache and signing in again.
