Is there no upgrade for Blackberry 8330 Curve to be able to use WiFi?

Unfortunately no, the 8330 does not have a wi-fi adapter built into the device. The 8320 does have it however.

I have a Blackberry 8330 Curve and am on Verizon. Saturday night my messaging system decided on it's own to separate all my messages. Some of the saved ones I have are now dated 12/5 (were from august!). On top of that when my email is downloaded into my Outlook account the emails are no longer taken off the phone. It is very very hard to open up any of my messages-usually takes 2 or 3 clicks to get them open. Am able to send emails and messages.
Another problem is that I can not update information or comment on people's status on Facebook. This isn't a big problem but is frustrating to me.
I have occasionally been getting this error message: uncaught exception:Java.lang.ArrayIndexOutofBoundsException
I
have rebooted multiple times went to Verizon & this very unhelpful man said all he could do is wipe my phone since there was not a technician there that was proficient on Blackberry.
Any suggestions are welcomed!

Look at your BB > browser > options > browser config > Browser emulation (or identification) and set that to BlackBerry.

How do I download photo's from my Blackberry 8330 Curve to my Macbook

I recently purchased a Blackberry 8330 Curve and have taken photos with it. I would like to transfer the photos to my macbook. Apple tech support suggested either pocketmac or the missing sync which one is better?

A 2009 iMac can't run Classic operating systems. If you are running Mac OS X 10.8.5 or earlier, look at http://www.markspace.com/ software.
If you are running Mac OS X 10.9 or later, try adding the bluetooth menu and connecting to the phone to browse the device directly through Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Bluetooth. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to find your operating system, and then pick the correct forum here:

WiFi for Blackberry Curve 8520?

For the longest time, I have been trying to figure out how to get the WiFi option to work on my Blackberry. I have tried to set everything up according to different forums and seeing if it would help, but nothing seems to be working. It always seems to refer me back to the settings/options. Can anyone help with my problem?

Hi Vivian, Internet by wifi on blackberry is a miracle to work. Some routers (I think a lot of..) don't work with blackberry.. but.. the true is.. blackberry wants that you pay data plan service.. but try do this:
1. go to mobile service . .active data plan menu.. if you don't do this you never get IP address from DHCP server from wifi router
2. try again to connect the wfifi network

MSN Messenger on 8330 Curve(Telus)

I have a BB Curve 8330 with Telus. I do not have the MSN Messenger icon on my home screen or anywhere in my menu. Does anyone know where I can go to download it? when I go to the blackberry website and go through MSN from there and put in my phone number I get a text message sent to my phone with a link to go to download. I go there push download then I get a message saying "Sorry, your session has expired. Please close all of your browser windows and then return to the welcome page to start again". I try again and it doesn't work. On my plan I do not have web access included on it so I pay for each webpage or whatever that I go to. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
Has anyone else had this problem? Or know how to fix it?
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you sooo much in advance for everyone's help!

Cannot open .avi and .vcf files on Blackberry 8330 Curve

Is there software or an upgrade to download to be able to open .avi files and .vcf (contacts from outlook) on Blackberry 8330?

A/V codec and video resolution of avi file must be compatible to what BB Curve could play
I suggest that you re-encode whatever avi file you have to meet the criteria.

WiFi for the 8330

Presently considering the Curve 8330. I can find no information on whether it can connect to a home wifi or any other wifi network. Guidance sought.

The OP is referring to WiFi, not the cellular network of your carrier. WiFi is your wireless internet connection in your house or at wifi hotspots at public places. The BlackBerry usually uses the cellular network for it's data connection, however, some models have hardware that allows them to use a wifi connection for faster (or cheaper) connections to the internet.

Business Software for Blackberry 8330

I want to store and read Word, Excel, and PDF files on my Blackberry memory card (2G). Preferably these files can be uploaded from my desktop computer and saved from email attachments.
Crackberry.com offers two programs that seem to do this, eOffice and Master Doc.
Any feedback on these programs or others to accomplish my goal will be appreciated.

With your 8330 upgraded to OS 4.5, you will get DocumentsToGo (WordToGo and SlidesToGo) for free, and then you can update the initially installed application to include SheetsToGo for free. All can be read and opened from your Media Card.
For PDFs on the Media Card, you will need either BeamReader or Repligo. Both have beta PDF on-device applications.

Hello,
Could somebody give me details on-- (1) Does 9300 curve support GPS?, if yes advise how to install?
Additionally, locate postion does not refresh as described in BB website.

I can't seem to figure out how to get korean to show up on my blackberry instead of black boxes. Anyone know how to fix it?

anyone tried to download the app for their 8330 curve and it did not work. Has any found out how to get the app to work.

Manual for 8330 Curve?

I never got my manual for my 8330 curve and I looked it up on the internet and there are 244 pages! How can I actually get the manual i can hold in my hand and read??

It may only be available in electronic format (a lot of new phone manuals are on CD, or online now).
Short of printing it out, I don't know that there is a way if it is only available in pdf format. Consider taking the file to Kinko's and having them print it if you absolutely need to have it in your hands.
