When i am using wifi hotspot in my xperia m2 its good working. but few minutes later automacily stoped. please give me correct solution. version 4.4.4

Weak WiFi hotspots at work - is there a signal booster available?

My company has both private and public WiFi connections available and my office is in an area which receives a low signal, causing me (and my co-workers) to loose connection regularly.
My work is software application support for hundreds of clients and soon the company will launch the software to be available for mobile products (iPhone and iPads).
The company is definately NOT going to upgrade or install a hotspot directly in my area so I am looking for other options. Are there tools, products, antenna, equipment available that would help my iPad get more regular, improved reception??
I heard that there is something out there for approx $100 which can be placed at or under a desk, but I have come up empty so far in my search

my laptop is connected to a dock and I do get a wireless/ WiFi signal. But docks are new to me, so I'll have to look and see what it's all about.... I believe there IS an extra Ethernet port. If there is NO extra port, is it possible to use something like a splitter on the port my dock is connected to?
Guess that's a question for my deskside support folks

I think I have the answer... This just worked for me.
1. Turn off your wireless router
2. Turn your wireless router back on
3. Go to back to your wifi settings on your iphone
4. Reconnect / login to your wifi connect
My wifi is back up and running on my phone.... too weird to believe!

Looking for a WiFi printer that will work with my Nexus WiFi hotspot

On a recommendation, we have bought an Epson NX530 WiFi-enabled printer. It does not work with the WiFi hotspot feature of my Galaxy Nexus. The support tech at Epson suggested that we get a WiFi router rather than trying to use the Galaxy Nexus. I told her that I would rather trash the NX530 and get a printer that would work with my phone.
So we have 3 questions:
1) does anyone know how to make an Epson NX530 work via the Galaxy Nexus hotspot?
2) does anyone know of a different WiFi enabled printer that works with the Galaxy Nexus?
3) does anyone know if the Galaxy Nexus is inherently unable to work with any WiFi printer?

I have a Canon Pixima 3220 that functions great. I also have a higher end HP Envy D410a that also works great with printhand. The Canon is cheap at BJ's at $40 when I bought it. The HP is about $269 at Staples and other outlets. Good Luck

Actually on my phone personal Hostpot won't turn on. it say contact your service provider. But I could connect to other phone's wifi easily. On of my friends has the same iphone but he could easily turn on personal hotspot and he is using the same carrier "vodafone". Also he has not contacted to vodafone to unable this setting.
only difference is that he purcahsed iphone 2 months back and mine is 10 months old. but its the same Iphone 4S

Seing that you have an both the Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter and the Belkin USB Wireless Adaptor, have you tried disabling one or the other and run Connectify?

Turning your iPad into a WiFi Hotspot, is only necessary if you are needing to share WiFi with other devices, if your iPad is already connected to WiFi or Cellular etc..
Ask the Hotel where you are staying for their WiFi information for Guests and connect to their WiFi Network in the list that shows up in iPads WiFi Settings.

Instant Hotspot not working on MacBook Pro Early 2011?

Hi and tnxs for reading.
I have a MacBook Pro Early 2011, and I cannot figure out how to use Instant Hotspot.
It is regularly working as standard hotspot by activating it on my iPhone and checking the iPhone WiFi Hotspot from WiFi menu, but otherwise is not available after the iPhone goes on stby...exactly as before.
Is this a limitation like the major part of Continuity?

it would be common sense to make it work this way also. directly from device to device. no bounce between WiFi router

No, iPad can become a hot spot, but if you have an iPhone, it can tether if you have a data plan that incudes the tethering option. With AT&T for example, you can add tethering for $20 month or for $45/month, you receive tethering and 4GB of data per month. If you have the unlimited data plan from AT&T you'll unfortunately have to give it up if you want to tether. You can also go to almost any carrier and purchase a MiFi unit which may work for you. Whether iw will work in Northern Minnesota is something only your carrier could answer.
