Wifi no funciona correctamente iPhone5 ios6.1

Tengo el iPhone 5 desde hace dos días, y no me funciona bien el WIFI, la conexión se pierde o baja muy lento.
He actualizado a iOS 6.1 y el error continúa, y también he restaurado a fábrica y no hay solución.

Este problema me ha venido a mi iPhone 4S con la última actualización al iOS 6.1.2, aunque ya me estaba dando problemas ante.
Ahora ni siquiera reconoce las wifi. Probé con el de mi marido y tres cuartos de los mismo. Los iPad están sin actualizar, así que van genial con la wifi.
Es un error de esa actualización del software, ya que a los iPhone 5 también les pasa, es como si se quedara inhabilitado por defecto la conexión wifi, como si no tuviera. Vamos, una faena que TIENEN QUE resolver, esté descatalogado o no el iPhone 4, es un problema del software.
Soluciones hay muchas en la red, pero todas son temporales (restablecer, reiniciar, modo avión, etc.). A mi ya me dejaron de funcionar todas, debe haberse saturado...
Espero que lo solucionen pronto.

My wife just activated her IPhone5 today and when we received a call to FaceTime both her phone and IPad rang. When we answered the call on the IPad the callers image only appeared in the portrait mode and any attempt to rotate the Ipad to the landscape mode did not change anything. Any suggestions?

hola a toda la comunidad de Apple, les envio este mensaje por que hace poco tiempo descargue los itunes para windows, lo que pasa es que no funciona correctamente,ejemplo: cuando estoy descargando o viendo algun prodcast, y pongo pausa y me voy a musica, no puedo poner esa opcion pero no se por que, las opciones no se quieren poner cuando yo digo, necesito que me respondan por que? y como se soluciona ese problema..

saludos a toda la comunidad de Apple.Hola, si funcionaba anteriormente, no creo sea un problema de actualizacion de BIOS, mas bien algo pudo afectar, realizastes algun tipo de cambio en el equipo?
De todas formas espera mas respuestas, personalmente y para descartar un problema fisico, aplicaria un reset de fabrica al equipo para dejarlo a su estado nativo.

my iOS 6.1.4 is updated. i have other devices connected to wifi hotspot of my iphone5. Though my other devices appeared to be connected and shows an excellent cignal strength, i cannot access internet. hope this will be fixed.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Issues with wifi connection after upgrading to iOS6.
Does anybody know of an fix that actually works to fix a phone not connecting to wifi with iOS6? I have tried I think every suggestion people have listed on here and on the apple forums and nothing works.
Here is what I've tried so far:
Resetting the network setting on my phone - didn't work
Tried turning off the Cellular Data suggestion - didn't work
I have done the hard reset on my phone and restored it - didn't work
I have tried changing the security settings on my router - didn't work
I bought a new router because my previous one was a few years old - didn't solve my issue. I know it's not my router, I have other devices in my home that connect to the router as they should.
I would really appreciate some help with this to get my wifi working again. I'm also having the same issue like others that since the iOS upgrade my phone also seems to be using data at about double the rate it used to. In 9 days I've used over 1GB of my 2GB plan and that is ridiculous, I'm only using my phone for email which I don't get any large attachments and some random surfing the internet. It never used this much data before when I was somewhere where I couldn't connect to wifi.
Is Apple working on fixing this or is it an Verizion issue?I went to an Apple Store today to see if they could help me out at all with this issue. I had found out that my phone will connect to wifi at work and amazingly at the Apple Store, just not at my house. Here is what they told me after I had run down all the options of what I had tried to change with them and nothing worked. Came to the conclusion that it is more than likely a software issue and after doing some research at the store Apple is aware of the problem they told me. Apple is working on correcting the issue and is beta testing an updated iOS at the moment and just need to be patient for them to release it. The only immediate fix they gave me as an option was to purchase an Apple router for the time being and that should cure the connection problem. Since I had just purchased a new router a couple weeks ago I didn't feel like buying another one. So I hope this will help some people that have been searching for an answer to this problem like I have and have gotten no help from anywhere...

If the update does not apply to my phone then they shouldn't offer the update. It causes too many problems.
I want my WiFi back. This is costing me a fortune and I think apple needs to cover these costs!The songs I'm trying to reload on my phone are on my PC. These we had loaded into iTunes. I can remove them all from the library and then add them all back one by one I imagine. The problem I'm having is that I removed them manually from the phone, they still appear in iTunes music library yet they won't sync. I don't want to take the time to compare the phone to my library, remove from the library what's missing on the phone and then add them all back again. 64GB (mostly music) will take a while.

After updating ios6. My iPad (new iPad) and iPhone 4 both stopped connecting to my wifi. I have never has connection troubles with wifi.
I had the same issue before. But not any more....
Step1: Turn off your phone.
Step2: Unplug the router from supply.and turning off is different. So unplug it.
Step3: turn on router and phone back.
Try connecting now; which should work ....
This fixed my phone
