Any suggestions for wifi parameters "Search Domains" and "Client ID" for iPad 2 with wifi + 3g?

What exactly is it that you want to do?
If you want to connect your iPad to your WiFi router, simply enter the password for your WiFi connection on your iPad.

Alright, when you are attempting to FaceTime someone, are you connected to WiFi? With the iPhone 4, it does not support using FaceTime over the cellular network, you will need to be connected to Wi-fi.

A number of employers will push a security profile to your phone when you add their exchange account that prevents you from backing it up to iCloud. They do this because they don't want confidential company information on another companies servers. If this is the case, you will find a setting called "Profile" in Settings>General near the bottom.
You would have to contact the company's IT department to confirm that they are preventing you from backing up to iCloud but that's normally what causes the iCloud backup setting to be grayed our or missing from an iOS device.

How did you transfer the photos from your other iPhone? If you did it by importing them from the old phone to a computer and then used iTunes to sync them back to the new phone, then you would delete them by syncing again using iTunes but this time change the selection of which photos are to be synced. Each time you sync using iTunes, it sets the non-Camera Roll photos on the phone to match the current settings/selection in iTunes.

If your Windows side is not seeing your Airport Extreme, I'm wondering if the Boot Camp drivers (Windows support software) was installed correctly. That is what installs the Airport drivers among other things.
Boot Camp: Install Windows on your Mac
Install Windows support software
After installing Windows, the support software installs Boot Camp drivers to support your Mac hardware, including AirPort devices, the built-in camera, the Apple Remote, the trackpad on a portable Mac, and the function keys on an Apple keyboard. The software also installs the Boot Camp control panel for Windows and the Apple Boot Camp system tray item.
You can download the support software by selecting the “Download the latest Windows support software from Apple” option in Boot Camp Assistant. The support software must be copied to an external USB drive formatted as MS-DOS (FAT).
After you configure Windows, if you kept the external USB drive that has the Windows support software inserted, an installer starts automatically. Otherwise, insert the external USB drive, then double-click the setup.exe file located in the BootCamp folder.
Follow the onscreen instructions. Important: Do not click the Cancel button in any of the installer dialogs.
If a message appears that says the software you’re installing has not passed Windows Logo testing, click Continue Anyway.
You don’t need to respond to installer dialogs that appear only briefly during the installation.
If nothing appears to be happening, there may be a hidden window that you must respond to. Look behind open windows.
When the support software finishes installing, click Restart, then click Yes.
After your Mac restarts, follow the instructions for any other installers that appear.
Check for updated Windows support software by using Software Update or going to the Boot Camp Support site.

Since you have already isolated it down to your home network, if following Steve's instructions do not fix your issue, contact your Internet Service Provider or Router Manufacturer and make sure your network is set up according to this information: iOS and OS X: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

Go into Settings - Wi-Fi or Settings - Network to make sure you have WiFi turned on.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Is that model a wifi printer? As far as I know, there are no kodak printers that are air print enabled. So you have to use a third party helper of some kind.
Look on Kodak's site. They have options for various models. There might be an app that will help, I believe some models also work with google documents.
If none of those work then you can look to third party apps. I have Print n Share and it works with my iPad, but there's also Printopia and Print Central and I'm sure there are others.

Push notifications and GPS not working on wifi - please help

I have an iPhone 4 with at&t (US) and latest iOS. but I am outside the US for a month and I have put the phone in airplane mode so that I don't receive phone calls or texts (I can choose not to answer phone calls but apparently I will receive the texts no matter what unless I put it in airplane mode)
But I still use the iphone for everything else. I have the wi-fi on and I have my own wi-fi network where I'm staying.
but i'm having problems:
1. I do not get any push notifications on my iphone. I have not modified much from the default wifi router settings. all i have done is set a WPA TKIP password. all the other settings are the default. no port filter or firewalls on the router as far as i can see.
2. google maps is not able to pinpoint my location. I can see the maps fine. but when i hit the button to locate my position, it tries for a while and then says "cannot determine location".
3. after a while with the iphone in 'sleep mode' (i.e. the screen is off - the phone is not off), when I turn the screen back on and try the use the iphone with the wifi, the internet no longer works although it shows that it is connected to the wifi network. then I have to go to the settings on my iphone for the wifi network and hit 'renew lease' for the internet to work again on my iphone. this is really annoying....
.. and *I do not have any of these problems when I'm on anyone else's wifi network*. so, I'm guessing this has something to do with my personal wifi connection at home.
can someone help me figure this out?
the wi-fi router is an Aztech HW550-3G. and the broadband connection is from a WiMax internet modem.

Your problem is there is no record of where your base station is. Since you have airplane mode on your phone cannot use the gps receiver or the mobile network to pinpoint the location. For the location of the base station to be known it needs to be recorded in a database on the internet.
Instead of turning on airplane mode, remove the SIM from the iPhone. With airplane off and no SIM you will be able to use GPS but not make or receive phone calls and text. It may also update the location database with your base station location, but I cannot confirm it.

I am currently using certain parameters to get a specific data list.
Only after this list has been created I want to use another parameter to further filter down my list
Can someone please tell me how I go about doing this?

Hi JS,
Just as Kishore and RSingh suggested, we can use cascading parameter to further filter down the list. With cascading parameters, the list of values for one parameter depends on the value chosen in preceding parameter.
There are two methods to create cascading parameters, please see:
Method1:
Create a new dataset query like this below:
SELECT DISTINCT field3
FROM            table_name
WHERE        field1 IN (@parameter1) and field2 IN (@parameter2)
Create parameter3 to get available values from the new dataset.
Add a new filter to the main dataset or tablix to further filter the list.
Method2:
Create a new dataset query like this below:
SELECT DISTINCT field3
FROM            table_name
Create two filters as below in the new dataset:
Expression: [field1]
Operator: In
Value: [parameter2]
Expression: [field2]
Operator: In
Value: [parameter2]
Repeat Step2 and Step3 in Method 1.

Cant set up Airport Express. Trying to create a new wifi at my apartment complex that has provided wifi. I plug the ethernet into the wall in my room and I cannot connect to the wifi.. help please

I am a bit lost if you have a public wifi why are you using ethernet into the wall.. is the ethernet just for your apartment.
The Express can work as a wireless bridge only to the public Wifi nothing else.. it cannot extend wireless.. so the express would need to plug into another router for you to get more than one single connection to the building.
Also does your public wifi have a login page . .. because that will then make life much harder.

Ipad 2 no longer connects to wifi any help please!

My ipad used to connect to my home wifi but now it recognises it but does not connect (cant open anything internet related). Fritzed on me in the middle of browsing. I have done everything that I found on these and other forums (turning off/on, reset settings, restored it and reset router) yet it still gives me a 169 IP. I have a dynalink router which usually gives a 192 IP. As far as I am aware it was connecting to other networks fine and there are multile other Apple devices (laptops, Iphone, other ipad, itouch) that connect to the same router and are still working fine. I have quite frankly had enough....
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Yes Meherally I tried that earlier today. The router had been off all night and the ipad was the only thing I attempted to connect.
Diavonex , I have rebooted the thing at least 5 times. This has been going on for days.
Starting to think its the ipad...
