WiFi Store downloads to Computer Sync issue

I searched the forums for this problem and no actual answer came up...
I bought a song from the iTunes WiFi store and want to put it on my Mac. I plugged it in (I manually sync my songs) and then, after right-clicking on the iPod, selected "Transfer Purchases". For a second, the iPod responds and lights up, but then nothing happens and the song ISNT added to my library. I then did "Store>Check for Purchases" and nothing comes up. How can I resolve this??

Seems like a lot of people are having problems with this especially with manual syncing. Two things to try. One, make sure your signed into the itunes store on your pc with the same account before you try and transfer. The other thing to try would be to turn off manual syncing, and do something similar instead using playlists. Turn on syncing for music, and just set it to sync a playlist that you create, which you can use to add or remove songs from your ipod. Under the music sync tab it will list all the playlists available. If there is a purchased on xxx's ipod include that one to be synced as well. If there is not try plugging in your ipod now, and syncing and see if it gets created. If it does than add it to be synced as well.

Thanks, yes, I have done this but find that syncing is still lithargic and not all items are synced. In particular it is very important that my calander events are propagated and there is often a large lag time between the iphone and computer sync. I'm syncing using the Wi-Fi setup. Comments?

ITunes store Download to computer will not play!

I am downloading 9 symphonies from iTunes store to my computer - all symphonies and movements are listed but two complete symphonies and one movement are not ticked and will not play. I did not find iTunes support of any help - can anybody help?

If you connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases then it should copy over to your iTunes library. Depending upon what country that you are in you might also be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage.

I just downloaded an app from the app store online, but the app is not syncing to my iphone 4 in order to use it. I need help?

I find the easiest way to transfer photos from iphoto or your computer in general onto your iPhone is to select the ones you want and click share then either iMessage or email them to yourself, its much faster and I don't know about you but i find iTunes to be a real pain when you sync photos because it always messes up your albums on your phone!

New Computer--Syncing Issues

About a month and a half ago my Macbook got water spilled on it and the logic board got fried--I took this as a sign to upgrade to the newest Pro model. I have acquired a few new ebooks recently and would like to put them onto my first-gen wifi iPad. However I don't have the ~30 books from my last computer and only about half of them were purchased in itunes, the rest given to me from friends and over the web. In short, I do not have access to all these books anymore.
The issue arises when I try to add my new book it simply does not allow me to and tells me my iPad can only be synced with one library at a time and it needs to be erased to do so.
My questions are:
a) can I get my books and apps off the iPad and how do I go about doing so
b) will I ultimately have to do a clean reset of the iPad and rebuild?

After you transfer all stuff, you do need to have iTunes erase you iPad and replace its contents with that on your new computer. You will lose app data though. One way to avoid that is to get the backup file from you old computer and place that on your new computer and restore from backup. For locations See:

ITunes WiFi Store Purchases Won't Sync

I bought music with my iPod touch and attempted to sync the music to my iTunes on the Mac. Nothing got tranferred. I tried "Store->Check for Purchase". Nothing. The song is under the "Downloads->Purchased" on my iPod touch. My expectation was to see it back on the Mac under iTunes. The purchase shows under my iTunes Account information. I do manually manage songs on the iPod.

If you are using your iPod in manual sync mode (not automatic), then you need to tell the iPod to sync the tracks back to iTunes.
To do this right click on the iPod in the iTunes sources list on the left side of iTunes and select the 'Transfer Purchases to iTunes' option.

Unable to use recently downloaded fonts, CC sync issue and connection problems.

Today was especially interesting.
CC would say it could not connect and to retry connection, when I clicked retry connection is would fail, over, and over - I waited 15+ minutes for it to finally connect only to tell me "Coming Soon: CC will deliver fonts from Typekit to your desktop"? https://www.dropbox.com/s/5yci79zv3opmx12/CCForgotFonts.jpg < WHAT!? So now I had to search the Adobe forum to figure out why... More wasted time.
Solution: LOGOUT from CC pref and log back in, then click the resync button tucked down at the bottom corner... No Auto-sync? No notification that my syncing was not enabled; Really?
Shouldn't it be a little more intellegent, maybe remember that I just downloaded these fonts and to perhaps give me 30 days before asking me to login to verify If I still had an active CC account in order to use the fonts? This is starting to wear thin.
Everyday I have to make sure I login to CC because if I don't I may not have a function or font. Then there is the licensing I have to accept each time because I logged out; each time!
(I have deleted folders and reinstalled CC to 'fix' this, only to have it stop working after a day or two, even on a local administrator account and domain admin account)
I'm just thankful I do not travel anymore because I couldn't with CC. I would have to install CS6 in order not to worry, that should say something about this new Adobe model.

So I am unclear, did you purchase these songs or import them from a cd?
If you imported them and still have the CD try importing them again and see if they work the delete the others.
Or if you purchased from itunes re-dowwnload and see if they work. Maybe they are corrupted files and this should resove it.

If you are using a Windows based computer, try disabling anti virus software and turn off the Firewall.

Purchased videos from itunes store download/upload issues

I purchased movie from itunes store downloaded it onto my itouch works plays is fine --but when I tried to sync or drag the movie onto my windows computer into itunes or sync it with itunes cannot get the + sign only no go. Getting frustrated--I bought this movie actually for my wife and then cannot get it onto her itouch since it will not transfer into itunes for me to get it moved/transferred onto her itouch. Both itouch's are authorized on this computer. I am confused--why buy the video if you cannot work with it on your devices? Please help!

Did you check your trash can? Did you make a backup copy of your videos that you purchased? That is something that is always reminded to users that purchase from the itunes store...to make a backup copy to their purchased music. The idea is once you buy the music and you lose it well then its gone forever. I highly doubt you can get what you purchased from the itunes music store back again without purchasing them again. But that is weird that you had the videos and and their gone now. Have you tried searching for them on your computer harddrive? Did you do a recent hard reset to your ipod? Are you manually updating your ipod and deciding what to sync and not?

So I just got a message from Apple saying

I am new to Apple products and signed up to the app store about an hour before but have not downloaded any apps yet.
I also turned on iCloud Drive.
Neither of these are Podcasts and I do not have any Podcasts on my device.
The message is a really poor warning, it could for instance list the IP address which would immediately tell me if it was me.
It could list what type of device it was.
It could list what Podcast was downloaded.
But no, just some random message, probably generated by the really bad default iPhone settings that put ease of use before security.
I have a long complex password that I do not want ot have to change just because Apple generates a stupid message.
On Google you have a log of all logins and devices, is there something similar with Apple, so I can figure this out?

I have not down downloaded any podcasts and there are no podcasts in the podcasts app, of course if Apple were to list the podcast that was downloaded, the IP address and the device it might help one dismiss the message.
I am running the latest v8.1.1 although how the version of my OS related to a message generated by Apple servers is beyond me, unless my device is not authenticating properly so Apple thinks I am someone else but then as I have not downloaded any Podcasts that would not seem to be the issue.
It does NOT say you downloaded a podcast. First, podcasts are not downloaded from the App Store; they are downloaded from the iTunes store.
It's very clear to me; the app named "Podcasts" was downloaded, not a podcast. "Podcasts" is a app provided by Apple for managing and downloading podcasts.

I am unable to sync a number of recently purchased TV shows to my iPad (Original iPad, running 5.0.1). I've deauthorized all my computers, and authorized only my iMac and this iPad - still nothing. I restored my iPad, deauthorized and authorized again, ... still nothing.

You can authorise your mac to user your mothers iPad in iTunes. Your Mac can be authorised for apps from more than one iTunes account:
iTunes > Store > Authorise this computer. Enter your mom's credentials.
Alternatively, you can backup her iPad to iCloud. This will store all details from the apps as well as their location on the home screen. After restore, it will simply re-download them ti the right place from AppStore. iCloud will also periodicaly autmaticaly backup your mom's iPad, without you needing to worry about it .
You can setup backup on iPad: Settings > iCloud > Backup.

There is a 20mb file size limit over 3G.
If you can connect via wifi, there is no file size limit.
If that is not what you mean, I have no idea-never heard of or seen a message like you describe.

Are you trying to download Pages via the iTunes App Store on your computer or on the iPad ? The message means that you need to download it on your computer, and you can then sync it to your iPad
