Wifi suddenly doesn't work from time to time (OSX 10.9.5)

Hello everyone,
I am having this problem a while now and I have tried many different fixes, which all didn't help me.
My Problem is that sometimes my MBPr (Late 2013) just stops the WiFi connectivity. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's completely random and extremely annoying. When I connect to any other WiFi network, it's the same thing. OS X doesn't give me some real error either. It just says that I am supposed to go nearer to the source of signal, which is nonsense, since the router is directly besides my MacBook. Furthermore, since this problem is independent from the used network, it has to be a problem of the laptop.
Funnily, after a while, WiFi works like nothing happened.
Do you guys have any idea?

I do not know whether or not it will address your issue, but I would reset the SMC. Since it is the same problem on other networks, it appears the problem is related to your computer.

So, I too have the a Belkin internet router at home but I'm having some weird issues I did not read about. I had previously had problems with my internet and suddenly my ipod worked without any issues for around 5 - 6 months.
Although my ipod shows me having full service I cannot connect to the internet, usually. About every 2/20 tries I can get onto the internet for a short period of time (5 minutes or so) before I no longer have an internet connection (although I still have bars). Sometimes I just simply have no bars.
But, I can no longer access the internet with my ipod from other wifi sources that I could before as well (i.e: University).
I have reset my network settings, renewed my lease, updated itunes, and have reset my ipod and none of those have made a difference. Is there anything else I can do?

The fact that you cannot connect to other networks my indicate a hardware problem with the touch. However, have you tried it with any open networks - ie Starbucks?
If your iPod appears to be connected to your network, do the following:
tap Settings > WiFi > and the network with the check mark next to it. Then tap the blue > next to the network name. If your router is working properly, your should see a device IP of 192.168.2.x, a full subnet mask 255.255.255.0, the router IP (192.168.2.1 with a Belkin), and your DNS IP addresses.
If your device IP address starts with 169.x, then your router is not issuing a proper IP address. Common causes are WEP encryption, outdated router firmware, or your router just needs a reboot.
Do the reboot first (just unplug the thing from the wall). Followed by a reset of your network settings and logging back into your network by tapping Settings > WiFi > Other and retyping your network name, security, and network password.

A few days ago my WiFi connection in my Mac Book PRO 13'' with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 worked fine but today I can't connect to my WiFi. I get the error:
Connection time exceeded
I didn't change anything... I've tried deleting the default connection, deleting System Configuration folder in /Library/Preferences but it doesn't wok. Any idea?

I do not know whether or not it will address your issue, but I would reset the SMC. Since it is the same problem on other networks, it appears the problem is related to your computer.

Every app on my ipod (2nd gen) which requires wifi connection doesn't work although the wifi mark is on. i did try restarting my ipod, resetting network setting, disconnect from wifi and reconnected it but non of them worked.

This may sound silly but try your date a time setting my ipod had the same problem and i had even checked the the date and time went all the way to the apple store for help and the genius guy just rest the date and time and it worked just fine.

I understand from a support note that if I keep trying my password/username combination, my BB will eventually delete all data!
I can't understand this. I'm completely lost now. I can't remember what I've done or tried to do. A plethora of usernames and passwords is swimming in my head.
Thanks for any hints. I have always loved this BB Bold and have never had any trouble with it.

But the real question is why for the past year did the passwords work and then all of the sudden after this anomaly the disk password doesn't work? I'm not 100% sure of what my configuration was, but I know that most of the time it required one password -- supervisor, and occasionally it asked for 2 -- disk password as well I believe. This may have been related to the Password on Restart setting I think -- asking for the disk password on cold vs. warm boot. But I know both were exactly the same. But after this incident only the Supervisor password worked.

IChat video suddenly doesn't work...

My fiancee and I have been using iChat for the last few years - the video and audio have always worked fine. She is in the USA and I'm in England until we get married in November. Last night, when I got home from work, it suddenly doesn't work. I'm on a MacBook running 10.4.11 and use AIM on iChat and she is on AIM on a Windows Vista laptop. She tries, I try it, it just doesn't start.

I have a different Error code in my Log.
You have Error 8
This is a bit of general coverall error code.
It means that it cannot make a Connection (it has excluded other items such as Internet Speed (Error 22) and issues over routing (error 7) and a "missing" camera)
One cause is when you set up Port Forwarding in your router for iChat and then the computer's IP Changes
This means the router is "pointing" the ports to one IP and the computer has another.
You have the three titles in ther Log (which I have now spaced out)
Normally there is more info in these sections.
The rest of the Log is not useful at this stage (I can't see that it mentions any iChat add-on)
Check the IP in use in System Preference > Network.
Compare this with any IP that is listed for Port Forwarding in the router.
Ideally the router should be using UPnP to open the ports (it lets your do Screen Sharing in iChat)
The router should not be doing Ping Blocking or have any DoS or SPI Security Filters

In 5s, personal hot spot does not work from time to time. Iphone does not get detected on Wi-fi or bluetooth. Restarting or rebooting does not help.

Settings, general, reset and reset network settings. Clear out your network settings and set personal hotspot again.
also avoid special characters making a password. hashtags or open brackets for example doesn't work too good.

Home page Hero Orbit slider suddenly doesn't work

We're developing this site http://scholzandbarclay.businesscatalyst.com based on the http://uguru-interior-design-us-feb52014.businesscatalyst.com template. After making a few minor changes late yesterday, the hero orbit slider suddenly doesn't work. All changes made were rolled back to working version, yet the hero still doesn't work.
I have recopied all the page code from the uguru-interior-design template into the scholzandbarclay site, which also did not work. All other code, scripts, styles have been checked. Can't find anything. However, when the pages render there is a difference (see screen captures)
in this one, the ul has no orbit
in this one, the script has added the orbit code.
Again, all scripts, code, styles have been checked.
What am I missing?

sometimes for a few seconds, or sometimes many hours.
I've resetted it when this happens, with no luck.
I've restored it from back up, and the problem still persists.

I had that problem as well and the apple support suggested to turn off the LTE-mode to have a running system and try to exchange the micro-sim by my provider.
THAT was not an option!
BUT it seems to solve my problem in the following way after trying a lot of possibilties:
In the menue properties/help (don't know the exact english word, because I run my phone in german)
I switched on the nice feature 'flash LED' by incomming calls, msgs, and push infos.
Today the flash feature was responding to different push notes very slowly.
By switching this feature off the LTE-mode-tochscreen-not-responding-problem disappeared.
We tried this on a other iphone, not having the metioned problem, and switched the LED-flash:
the problem appeared. Switching the LED-flash off: problem disappeared!
It seems to be a bug that the LED will hint Calls and MSGs in combination with the LTE mode!
treated my phone very hard today to double check, but its still ok.
@Apple:
Please fix that issue in the next update.

I found the solution .,,,
1) click on your current plan and press done your payment details will appear .
2) the first section is your plan and there is a botton "change" click on it
3) it will take you back to the upgrade options
4) press on the downgrade options
5) choose the 5 GB and the done botton will be enabled
6) click on it you'll back to the step number 2 , here read carefully you'll see that your changes will take effect after the current plan expired with the date.

Skill Search works fine from search center, but it doesn't work from Lync client

My environment consists of Lync Server 2013 and SharePoint Server 2013.
I configured skill search and it works fine from search center, but it doesn't work from Lync client. An error appears says"error occurred during the search, please try again".
I configured these URLs in my client policy
set-csclientpolicy -identity global -spsearchinternalurl http://<Sharepoint Server>/_vti_bin/search.asmx
set-csclientpolicy -identity global -spsearchcenterinternalurl http://<Sharepoint Server>/searchcenter/pages/peopleresults.aspx
I checked these URLs from the browser and they work fine.
I disabled anonymous access to _vti_bin, but no change then i checked lync log but i didn't find any error then i used Wireshark and found that when Lync client contacts Sharepoint, Sharepoint responded to it with internal server error http 500
Please advice for what to do

Autoreaction doesn't work from client 000 but works from other clients

Autoreaction doesn't work from client 000.
More details coming.   Having trouble getting the thread to post.

We set up a new local auto-reaction.   This is not a central auto-reaction. The auto-reaction writes a
message to the UNIX system log /var/adm/messages when a "Security"
alert i.e. - Logon, RFCLogon, TransactionStart, etc. occurs.
The RZ20 alerts are being properly generated and can be seen in both
the CEN system and the local system. On the local system if I view
all alerts for the MTE using transaction RZ20 and select one of the
alerts and choose Edit -> Nodes ( MTE ) -> Start methods -> Start auto-
reaction method. The auto-reaction writes the message to the UNIX
system log. If I execute the same procedure in client 000 nothing is
written to the UNIX system log.
I've also tried triggering a new alert and running SAPMSSY8 from SE38
while the alert is still in status ACTION_REQUIRED. If I do this from
client 010, an entry is written to the unix system log. If I do this
from client 000, nothing is written to the unix system log. In both
cases, the status of the alert changes from ACTION_REQUIRED to ACTIVE.
Since the System Cyclic program ( SAPMSSY6 ) that triggers SAPMSSY8
always runs in client 000, the auto-reaction never writes the messages
to the UNIX system log.
I have been working on this issue for days. There are several posts and notes relevant to a similar situation with e-mail alerts that are not working from client 000 because SAPCONNECT is not set up in client 000.   However, this auto-reaction does not send an e-mail, so SAPCONNECT set-up should not be necessary.   I've searched Service Marketplace and could not find any notes that resolved the problem either.
I've also checked CCMS Self-Monitoring and cannot find any alerts or errors relevant to this problem.
Does anyone know why the auto-reaction only works from a client other than client 000?

The phone does not charge when linking with adaptor. But it is OK when linking PC using USB instead. I do not know why, but I am just sure there is something wrong with the adaptor.
