WiFi Worked, Now Nothing!!!

I Have a Ipod touch 2g and work my wireless through my iMac on Airport. My WiFi worked fine with no problems and then this afternoon, Nothing. It shows that I am still connected to the wireless network, however when I got to use any of the apps that require WiFi, mail for example or even Safari, I get nothing and error messages saying it can't connect to the server.
Anyone have any ideas????

What does your document look like? Does it have a large blank space near the top? Does the Print Preview graphic show move than one page to be printed. If so, what's showing for the higher page numbers?

What do you mean by turn it on? Like the notifications? Have you tried doing a soft reset by holding the home and power button down until your phone restarts? Have you tried a public one such as wifi at a public place? If you tried all of these, maybe you need to go to a local Genius Bar.

IOS 6 Wifi working now

I've been trying and trying to connect to my Wifi and it was not working. So I rushed here to check if I was the only one, obviously not ...
Then, 2 minutes ago it started working again like it was before on iOS 5.
I'll update later if it crashes again.

Hi fatbear711. are the following as follows? Settings/restrictions: Facetime and Camera are both ON? Also in Game centre at bottom 'Adding Friends" is turned on? If all ok, log into your account via itunes App, Click on your ID at bottom left of say the Music page, then click to 'Manage', enter password. On next page click on your apple ID at top, then select to go to '[email protected]'. Log in on the browser window page that appears and confirm that your primary apple ID and primary email have been verified (should have green ticks and the word 'verified' next to them. If you use itunes on a pc to sync with then do this through iTunes;Store menu on your pc, ensuring that you sync your device once finshed. You will also need to check that your device is set to the correct timezone and time in your devices settings page. If problem still persists at least we'll know the basics are ok.
When you post again can you also include whether ipad2/3 etc and iOS e.g. 5.3.1/6.01 etc

Had to do a factory rest and now nothing is functioning properly.

My z10 was locked while I was in development mode and neither my development mode password nor my phone password would unlock it. So I did a factory reset to get it to work now nothing is working as it did. I can not zoom in or out on websites unless I am in desktop mode, the LED light flashes at odd times, the LED will flash when my wifi signal is on, I no longer have access to my apps from BlackBerry app world, and I can no longer get it to go into vibrate phone only mode. Please help.

I used the wrong password for my belkin wifi. Now that I know the correct password I can not get pass the unable to connect or join message. I have turned off all the options such as wifi and join and also put my touch to sleep.. but nothing seems to work

I used the wrong password to join my new belkin wifi. Now that I have the correct password, I can not get the to the join screen with the space to type in the password. I continue to get the unable to join message. I have put the touch to sleep and I have turned on and off the wifi and join options on the Network screen page. Does anyone know how to get pass this block of the wrong password to a new page that will allow me to type in the correct password. I see there is a option that asks if I want to reset the network settings.. is that what I should do? and what does it erase when I do that? Thanks for any input anyone has.

Yes. Reset network settings. Head to Settings -> General -> Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.

My iPad 2 used to connect to my wifi and now will not at all. Prior to it becoming completely nonfunctional I could get it to connect by restarting it. Then that didn't work anymore so I went into general settings reset all network settings.

Prior to it becoming completely nonfunctional I could just restart it and it would connect properly to the wifi. Then that work around stopped working. Then I went into general settings and reset all network settings and that worked for a while. When that stopped working I let the battery drain completely and then after a full charge it worked again for a while. Now nothing. What should I try next that will hopefully fix this issue more permanently?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

She may want some details from the employer before making a choice that is consistent with the employer's reasoning for the policy as applicable to this situation.
1) Is the employer trying to safeguard the Windows network from Windows threats that might be introduced by the operation and interactivity of the Mac?
Or
2) Is the employer more concerned with safeguarding the work files and system health of the Mac(s)?
AV software for Mac's have varying degrees of effectivness in either of these categories. ClamXav, I think is more effective at protecting the Mac, and even then its worth is questionable by some. Questionable only insofar as one might consider resource managment (CPU load and disk space) weighed against the actual threats posed to a Mac for which it would be effective.
I think if you are installing an AV to protect the Windows network, then one might opt for software more adept at that.
If on the other hand, the employer's requirement is nothing more than blind policy decision, then ClamXav is indeed the best choice, as it is particularly known for being low in resource overhead.

IPhone 4s Wifi Problem - now on my second device and still not working..help

I got my first iPhone 4s less than 3 weeks ago the wifi worked fine for the first week and connected fine without a problem. I then began to have problems where it would appear with the server cannot be found etc. Yet i had full signal on the wifi and my 3g works fine, i was quite fustrated reset my phone, and also my wireless I had no luck! I contacted my provider and they tried a few things I could join up to my wireless it would work and then would stop working after 5 or 10 minutes, what they couldn't understand was my partners 3GS worked perfect and so did a friends iPhone 4 when they used the connection, previously I had an 3GS myself and it worked perfect with the wireless. My provider decided to send out me a replacement 4S I received this earlier on today, the Internet worked fine on my wifi and then the same thing has started happening again, I have reset the phone a few times and works okay for 5 or 10 minutes (like now as I am typing this) but then again comes up with the same message with cannot connect to the server, even though I have full bar on the wifi signal and sat next to it.
I am stuck at a dead end and unsure on what to do I use my phone for everything and I find it frustrating that I cannot use my Internet on the phone properly and I am already on my second handset.
I was wondering whether anybody could help me out with this as I just don't know what to do
Any answers/advice would be much help and greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same phone as yours but the thing is, connecting to wifi and 3G and surfing the net with my iphone is fine. when it comes to updating and downloading apps. it took years to do it!

I'm having similar issues with my phone. I got my first iPhone recently, only had an iPod touch gen4 for a little over a year. Updated to 6.0.2 when we got the phone (iPhone 5) a few days before Christmas. When I got home on the evening of January 11, my phone would not connect the router anymore. I was able to get it to connect after resetting the phone and the router, updating the router, and manually connecting. That laste for a few minutes and then wouldn't work anymore. I live in an area with very limited service, we have a network extender installed to help, and I am barely getting a 3G signal at times.
My wife's iPad 4, my touchiPod 4, and all of our laptops are working just fine on the router. When I dropped my kid off at school today, I noticed that I am not even seeing the school network anymore from the parking lot where before I got 3 or 4 bars and could connect to their wifi when I was there. Today my phone goes back and forth between seeing my home network but not connecting, to not even seeing the network at all even from the same room that the router is in.
Hope Apple fixes this problem soon..............

If you are referring to adding a secondary account, to a single device, then you can do this at system preferences >mail, contacts & calendars.

Do you see anything on the TV?
If you just see your desktop, then your MacBook is defaulting to extended display mode. Try pressing the Command + F1 keys to see if you get the menu bar and other icons.
