Wii Internet set up?

Whenever I try to set up my Wii internet connection via wireless connection to Airport Extreme it indicates a error code 51331. No matter what security setting I use (WPA2, WPA, WEP, etc.) it keeps giving me the error that it cannot connect to the internet.
Any help is appreciated.

Hopefully the information at http://www.nhotspot.net/wii-error-code-51331/ will help.

  • N97 internet setting

can anyone please tell  me what the internet setting are for my N97 im on at&t...tried automatic setup and it still doesnt work....please help

I actually read throught all the problems encountered on N97, but i am a little surprise that so many problems have pop up.
I did encounter a few resets myself, that was mostly on the first 3 days, while i was busy fiddling with the functions, including the internet call functions. i think on the fourth day, the phone wanted to do an update, and afterthat, its working without problems since.
I assume, after 4th day, i fiddle less, less load and changes, therefore the phone didnt give problem. But still, some of the problems listed in the fourm do exit, like after u have connected to the PC, the settings for the messages change back to C:.
i cannot be bother, and left it that way, after reading so much problems, i decided not to change too many setting.lol.
Meanwhile, its a good phone, except the need to get use to it again. NOKIA has changed so many folder names or removed them altogether, like the gallery is missing. now i have to re-learn what i know abt nokia for the last 10 years.  Sad.

  • Wii Internet Channel

How can I download Adobe Flash Player on the Wii Internet Channel?

    Hi keeperofmyhome
I am sorry, but you can't download anything while using the Internet Channel.  And wanting Nintendo to enable downloads in the Internet Channel will open the Wii to hacks and viruses from the internet.
So there is no way you can upgrade the Internet Channel's Flash player yourself.  You'll have to wait for Nintendo to update the Internet Channel with a newer Flash player version (currently the Internet Channel uses Flash Lite 3.1 which is equivalent to Flash 8).
So if you're trying to watch a video that is Flash 9 or higher, the Internet Channel won't run the video.  You'll have to use your computer for viewing it until Nintendo updates the Internet Channel with a newer Flash player.

  • Internet Setting Question

    Hello,
I am visiting friends and have my Airport Extreme connected to their Fios router. I had to change the Airport Utillty Internet Setting to Bridge Mode. I'm returning home soon and am unsure which setting I need to revert to; "Share a public IP address" or, "Distribute a range if IP addresses"? At home I use a Cablevision cable modem. I think it uses DHCP.
    Thanks,
    Fred

You'll want to reconfigure your AEBS for "Share a public IP address."

  • Nokia c2-02.....Internet setting must be enable fo...

How do I enable this internet setting ?????...I can't use ebuddy , facebook ......or all java applications which use internet.(my phone is already connected to the internet)

So, it means that your phone's software is corrupted if you can't use the third party apps or the ovi store. The key on the icon means that the app is protected and is a third party app.Or other way is to contact your service provider for gprs settings and you can't do mannual settings in C2-02/03/05/06 phones that's y u can't watch online videos.Rush your nearest Nokia Care Centre and update your phone's software and try to use ovi store for apps instead of third party apps and use your phone's default browser instead of opera, bolt,uc,netfront etc.
    Thank You.

  • Itunes vs. Wii internet

I was very happily using iTunes to listen to my music via the new multiple speakers setting while using an airport express base station as the reciever by my stereo, it worked great.
Then I got a Wii for my kids, and once I got the Wii to work on the wireless network the multiple speaker setting in iTunes disappeared.
I can only get one or the other to work, not both at the same time, HELP!
    Thanks,
    Thetav

I guess I was rather cryptic.
I had itunes working on multiple speakers driving my stereo off of my airport express.
I purchased a Nintendo Wii (video game system) that can access the internet over a wireless network. When the Wii connection is set up the itunes multiple speaker option disappears from itunes.
    Thanks,

  • My computer keeps switching its internet setting from Airport to Ethernet without me doing anything. How can I fix this??

My computer keeps switching its internet type from "Airport" to  "Ethernet." As my computer is not connected to an Ethernet cable, the ethernet does not work, and so I lose internet connection every time it does this. And it does this two or three times a minute (no exaggeration). This means that, by the time I've changed the setting and refreshed my page, the internet type has changed again, and I'm back to square one.
So far, I've tried the following:
-Reordering the list of priorities on the "Network Preferences" page
-Going to the Ethernet "advanced" options and switching everything to either "off" or from "automatically" to "manually"
    -Rendering the Ethernet inactive
-Finally, I created a new location with only airport on
Usually, doing these things makes the problem go away for a day or two, and then it just comes back again.
It's not a problem with the internet itself, as this has been an ongoing issue for the past few months, and I've switched locations three times since then.
Does anyone know how to make my computer stay on Airport, and NOT switch to the Ethernet setting all the time?

    Hi samanthaspunt,
I would first try these steps:
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
If that does not help, I would try un-syncing and resyncing the music via this article:
iTunes: Syncing media content to iPod
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1351
    Cheers!

  • Time capsule not showing in airport utility? recently moved house and new internet set up!

    Hi
I had a time capsule set up and working perfectly then we moved house, changed ISP and now time capsule light is flashing amber.  When I open the Airport Utility only the internet (i.e. a globe) shows, no time capsule.  My Macbook Pro has no ethernet port or I would have tried hardwiring!  I can enter the time machine but back up history is red.
I read that latest OS may require a rename of the capsule if the original name was long (29 characters including spaces at present) but to change it the support says to access it via the airport utiltiy which I can't do!
    Help anyone?!
    Sam

Simply factory reset the TC and start over.
Any time you move the network configuration the TC will require a new configuration.
    The Factory Reset universal
Unplug your TC/AE. Hold in reset. and power the TC/AE back on..  all without releasing reset and keep holding in for about 10sec. The time is not important.. it is the front LED rapid flashing that indicates you are in factory mode.
    Release reset.
If it doesn’t flash rapidly you have released reset at some point and try again.
Be Gentle! Feel the switch click on. It has a positive feel..  add no more pressure after that.
TC/AE will reboot after a couple of minutes with default factory settings and will wipe out previous configurations.
No files are deleted on the hard disk.. No reset of the TC deletes files.. to do that you use erase from the airport utility.

  • Can't get internet set-up. ugh!!!

Alright, I had to connect my old crappy d-link router back up so I could have internet to write this post. I find it quite ironic that I'm having more trouble in the first hour of owning my Airport Extreme than I did for the entire life of the D-link.
I have time warner roadrunner interent here in So Cal. They gave me a little router box for the internet and all I had to do with the old d-link is plug the cable from the time warner box into the WAN port on the back of the D-link router and it just worked, I had one PC hardwired to it and my macbook connected to it wirelessly all through DHCP.
I try this same procedure with my new airport, go through all the easy to navigate screens and set it up and it will give me a full wireless signal, but say that I'm not connected to the internet. It says I dont have a valid IP address.
Mind you I have basic networking knowledge and reconnected and restarted everything I could, as well as double checked every single setting. I even hardwired my PC to it with a cable and still couldnt get internet.
My patience is running thin. Any help would be appreciated.

When switching out the network device connected to the cable modem, you need to make sure that the modem "recognizes" the new device connected to it.
Try the following, in order, until resolved:
    1. If the modem has a reset switch, use it to reset the modem. Wait at least 5-10 minutes for the modem to initialize.
    2. Remove power from the modem. If it has a backup battery, remove this as well. Wait 5-10 minutes. Replace the battery, and add power back to the modem.
    3. Perform a complete power recycle of your network components as follows:
    Modem/Router Power Recycling - Quick
o Power-off the modem, 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), & computer(s); Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the modem; Wait at least 5 minutes.
o Power-on the AEBSn; Wait at least 5 minutes.
    o Power-on the computer(s)
If this fails to get the modem to "recognize" the Internet router, then try the "Full" version.
    Modem/Router Power ReCycling - Full
o Power-off the modem, AEBSn, & computer(s). (Wait at least 30 minutes. If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
o Power-on the modem; Wait at least 15 minutes.
o Power-on the AEBSn; Wait at least 5 minutes.
    o Power-on the computer(s)
    4. Contact your ISP to have them perform a "modem reset."

  • Wii internet

do i need to add a password to WAP to be able to connect to the internet through my wii if so how long does it take till a session is opened

    error code 52230
"Likely cause: Your router or Internet Service Provider is having difficulty assigning a DNS or IP address to the Wii".
    http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=52230&system=Wii&locale=en_US
The above does give the manual fix, though for BT it's 192.168.1.**
I'd be tempted to sort the connection out first*, but if you go down the manual route, try something like 192.168.1.150
*either find the wii on the home network (via the hub manager) and delete it OR a reset of the hub may cure this as it sounds like there's an IP conflict going on - though you'll lose any saved devices and any changed settings.

  • Wii internet access to Airport Extreme

After replacing my old wireless router with the Airport Extreme, my Wii can't connect to the internet wirelessly.  I'm concerned that my settings in Airport Utility are not allowing the Wii to find it.  Without it, no Netflix, no House of Cards!!

I think I found a solution. From reviews I have read, you can use mobileme to connect to your routers. All you have to do is put your account information in your Aiport Express/Extreme or Time Capsule and you should be able to access them from outside your network assuming that the internet you are using doesn't block the service. I'll try it out later today.

  • Podcasts in both iPhone and iPad will play for a minute and then reset back to the beginning, can only stream, cannot download - no problem on PC laptop with exact same Podcasts with exact same internet set up.  What is the fix?

This is incredibly frustrating - we had a IPhone 4s that had no problems here for about 7 monts.  We have a new IPhone 4s and recently a new IPad 2.  Ever since the mandatory switch to using the Podcasts App for iOS based products (my PC laptop works fine), the podcasts will say "cannot be downloaded at this time" and will stream for 30 seconds to a few minutes, then abruptly start over at the beginning. We cannot fast forward ahead properly in the new clunky interface, and the secondary screen where you get to see the "tape player" going through podcast does not skip when you move the timer icon anywhere in the podcast.  It is though they are running in parallel.
We are talking podcasts by the BBC, NPR, etc and the Lenovo doesn't have any issues bc the whole system is inside ITunes.
I have looked all over the internet and cannot find a fix, please help.

    Hi jhyiesla,
Im not sure wether I got you right or not. But my advice/s would be as follows:
These steps help you get rid of old apps you downloaded years ago and you do not use anymore.(Also frees space on your mac after emptying the trash)
    1) go to iTunes and delete all applications in it. Make sure to move them to trash! Do not empty your trash yet. Its your backup if step 3 doesnt appear.
    2) connect both your devices(one after each other) and make a backup. !!!Dont press the Sync button, press the Back Up Now Button
    3) Then it asks you if you want to backup applications as well. Confirm. (This is how apps get transferred manually)
    4) Then Sync your devices... The first time it might be, that there are some additional apps loaded to your devices you dont want to.. delete them on your Device (not iTunes) and after that you should be good every time you sync again.
    5) now you can empty your trash on your mac.
    Further,
    - You should regularly connect your devices with iTunes to make sure they are backed up. (Even if you have activated iCloud backup, the iTunes backup is more proper i.e.. Apps)
    - If you hate scrolling through a list of apps in iTunes, you can re/install apps directly on iOS not via iTunes. I absolutely never go to the "Applications" section in iTunes. I install and delete apps directly on iOS.

  • I have internet set up in office--want to use in studio--approx 150 feet away--separate bldg

i want to know if airport extreme, or, express, would allow me to have internet access in studio--approx 150 feet away, in another building.  i want to stream, using Apple TV and, do video-editing in studio.
i need thoughts and advice, based on some trial and error of your own!

Sorry, but I am not optimistic at all about this if you are thinking of trying to use wireless to reach the studio for video streaming and/or editing.
I can't get a wireless signal 50 feet from one side of the house to the other reliably using wireless. I had to run an Ethernet cable from the office here to the home theater on the other side of the house to make things work reliably, video wise.
could i get the Extreme and piggy-back the express from the studio?
Not sure that I understand what you mean here.  If you have an AirPort Express in the the office, you will need another AirPort....either another Express or Extreme in the studio.
The broadcast power of the AirPorts are vitually the same, so no advantage to place an AirPort Extreme in the office unless you need the additional features of the AirPort Extreme.
