  • HT4009 How do I get a refund for a recently purchased app that does not meet expectation?

I purchased an application this weekend and it doesn't do what I was expecting it to do.  How do I return and be reimbursed for that application?

As RG said, you probably cannot get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. If, however, features and functions were promised in the app and either are not present or do not work and the developer cannot resolve the issue or you are unable to reach the developer, you can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact.html
It's possible they'll make an exception for you.
    Good luck.

  • Can I reinstall an iPhone app that was free when I first downloaded it but is paid now, without paying?

I have deleted it from both my iTunes and iPhone.

Of course. If your country supports iTunes in the Cloud, you can redownload the app for free, because the developer made it paid after you got the app, so now you can download it free of charge. On the phone, go to App Store > Updates > Purchased, and download the app.
You will only have to pay if the developer decided to make it paid alongside a major update of the app, which is not usual

  • Is it possible to restore lost data from an app that was deleted then reinstalled?

I had a problem switching the accounts on ITunes and accidentally deleted an App, all of its data was deleted and when I repurchased the app(free app) I cannot access the games account. Their support won't let me solve it. Can I restore the lost data?

Ah. That is a pity, my last backup on Itunes was 2012, the app i only recently got.

  • Can u reinstall a purchased app without having to pay for it again?

Is there a charge to reinstall a purchased app that was accidentally deleted?

You can install purchased apps again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought it with and as long as the app is still available in the app store.

  • Why did I get charged again for items I have already purchased?

Why did I get charged again for items I have already purchased?

My theory is that because the original appleID wasn't an email, they're making you switch to it when you update to iOS5.  So that creates essentially a new appleID and it isn't recognized as the one that originally made all your purchases.  Sign out of the Store and then sign in using your old ID and it should do the trick.
The other alternative is to sync your apps rather than reinstalling them....if you can.  Hope the phone service helps.

  • I have rented a movie on my apple TV, and would like to have it available on my computer to watch. How do i watch it on my computer without getting charged again?

I have rented a movie on my apple TV, and would like to have it available on my computer to watch. How do i watch it on my computer without getting charged again?

You can't if your rented it on your Apple TV - from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1657 :
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

  • HT1541 I need to resend a gift but when I go under gifts, nothing shows up.  How do I resend without getting charged again?

How do I resend a gift without getting charged again?  I went under manage gifts, but nothing shows up.  It just shows that I sent it on my receipts.  But they have not received the email with the code.

First, have the intended recipient check any anti-spam filters to make sure they're not blocking messages from Apple.
If that is eliminated as a possibility, and the gift doesn't appear in the Manage Gifts area though you're sure you are logged into the iTunes Store account through which you purchased the gift, go here:
    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store and request assistance.
    Regards.

  • I am getting charged again and again once I logout from AppStore on my iPhone...

I am first time using iPhone for business purpose and wondering why I am getting charged again and again, if I logout from AppStore. Last time, I had reset my phone setting and system logged me out. When I tried to download an app, system prompted me to verify my userid and card details. Nowhere, it has been said why this charges has been imposed. It's really stupid. Please help.. TIA!

You need to notice there is another poster here that has a complaint. When I respond to you, it shows it under my response. The troubleshooting response was for the other poster. I gave you information to contact iTunes. You should not be charged for anything as I said earlier unless the app you are downloading has a cost. Once you pay once, you do not pay again. Contact iTunes if your credit card is being charged. You do not mention that you have seen any charges on your account, just that it has asked you for your payment information more than once. Just asking for the information does not automatically charge you. PLEASE, go to the link that I gave you to contact iTunes.

  • HT201272 Why did I get charged for dowloading music to my iPhone that I already purchased?

Why did I get charged for dowloading music to my iPhone that I already purchased on my PC?

    Thanks for the response!
Since I only have one AppleID and since I'm sitting at the computer showing the previously purchased songs, I'm guessing your third response is the accurate.  I logged onto iTunes Store and "reported a problem" with the two songs and am awating their reply.
I'm guessing that it's something I did (or didn't do) when I downloaded the songs from iTunes Store to my iPhone.  I forgot to synch these two songs from my PC to my iPhone before travelling.  However, I noticed that the two songs were listed on my iPhone iTunes application in a playlist called "recently purchased."  I clicked on the two songs and they were downloaded to my iPhone (which I would expect); I then received an email receipt for the charges for the songs (which I didn't expect.)
