Will a GFX5900SP-VT fit in a Intel 865 perl?

I am buying an Intel 865 Perl for my new system, to go along with a 2.8 HT (the 3.0 is still too expensive here in Brazil)and 512 if ram, and I´m also planning on getting a MSI GFX 5900 SP-VT 256.  But I read that size culd be a problem with 865 PE Mobos.
Could I have a problem here?
My other option is to go with GFX 5600 256-vivo and maybe get 1 gig or ram or perhaps squeeze my wallet and get a 3.0 processor.
I could also consider getting a ASUS P4C800 deluxe instead of the 865 perl.
Since my main concern is stability over pure performance, I´m in favor of the Intel 865 perl with the 2.8 ht processor and the GFX 5900...
Anyways...does anybody knows if it will fit?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi there.
you may have trouble in many mobos with the intel865 and intel875 because of the sink or fan that may be on top of the chipset.

If I where u, I would buy the asus P4C800 because it's probably one of the best mobos arround
Take care

Will the Volcano 7+ fit in the mobo in my sig??
I dont want to come home and find out that it wont fit in the socket
Thats how the volcano 6CU fits atm...
    and it is: 80x60x65 mm
Im not sure of the dimensions of the 7+..
But since the fan is parralel with the heatsink and its ( the fans ) dimensions are 70*70
    It *should* fit...
    Does anyone know for sure?
    Thanks for the help

    Me too,
It is a little sketchy during installation, I would recommend a shim for sure. The fan housing is just a little too big and getting the clip to catch the front hooks can be a bit of a challenge...you'll see. Just be careful.
Oh that pic in your post is way too big....really 8)

  • Will my iPad 1 fit in an iPad 2 case?

I just purchased an iPad 1, but all of the leather, foldable cases that I am attracted to are made for iPad 2. Will my iPad 1 fit in these?

The first gen iPad is slightly larger in all three dimensions, so the chances are that it won't fit - or if it does it might be a tight fit. If possible I'd try it first before buying

    Thanks.

    UnderTheSun,
it's really fit? Poor performance? But many site praise it. They said this HSF have good performance and silent, that what make me interested.
    =LKS= KA DRUMA,
Swiftech is hard to find in Indonesia. So even I found it, it'll be pricey I think.
    Dcasole,
yeah, that SP-94 really nice, but I seek the easy way to install.
It needs me to took off mobo and removing fin (like you said).
So, it won't fit? Good/bad performance? Fiuhh, there's no so many HSF choices in my country.

  • Will iPad 2 covers fit the new i pad?

I have ordered my new iPad and already I am looking at accessories to keep it safe from the enviroment/elements. All I can find at the moment is iPad 2 accessories.
Will they suit the new iPad, or is there new covers etc out there?

If you're talking about the iPad 2 smart cover (made by Apple), yes, it most likely will.
If you're talking about iPad 2 covers, no.
That's because the New iPad is thicker and covers are tightly fitted to the device. You'll have no allowance space to fit your New iPad onto an iPad 2 cover.
Screen protectors on the other hand should work for both the iPad 2 and New iPad, in case you need to know.
A smart cover is simply just a screen cover made of polyurethane or leather with a built in magnetic strip and the cover latches to you iPad easily, it doesn't cover the aluminium back of the iPad though. It is not built to shield your iPad from shock.

  • Will a VGA silencer fit?

    K8N

    ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
    +
    Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu
    +
    Vantec Iceberq CCB-A1C
    +
    Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer
    =
    Compatible?

I'm really sorry but the Vantec Iceberg and the Silencer DON'T go together.
There is about 1.5mm !!! gap between the MSI chipset cooler and the "head" of the Silencer where the fan is situated.
I couldn't even put the smallers of fans between these 2.And i mean the smallest..You might even say i was lucky the Silencer fits!!!
    I have a 9800 Pro so i should know.
And to all those who say it fits, either you don't know and are guessing, or i challenge you to post a PIC with one installed.
And if that doesn't convince you, i will be forced to post a pic myself so you can show me your MAGIC.
And all that jus to keep poor folks from buyiing stuff they can't use, just from misinformation.

  • Will 802.11n card fit into 2005 iMac?

  • Will theis Hard drive fit in my macbook pro?

I think it is the right size but I want to be sure.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-Scorpio-Mobile-Internal/dp/B0034ZD5P0/re f=wlit_dpo?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1KM8BQJUSARMS&colid=3JEKXYVUZW51O

It really depends on which MBP you have. According to Western Digital, this drive is 12.5 mm high:
    http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=685
If you have a unibody MBP, it should fit. If you have an original 17" MBP, it should fit. If you have an original 15" MBP it will not fit, as an original 15" MBP can only take a 9mm high drive. I believe the WD 750 GB drive will now fit a 15" original MBP.
    Good luck!
