If so - then convert Your .wma file to .aiff (same kHz) and use this in iMovie instead. (no .mp3 either)

Headset with mic not working on Mac Mini

I have a 5 year old Mini and a brand new one (haven't hooked up the new one because I have to take it to the Apple store to get the data migrated, which BTW Apple now charges $99 for, they didn't before) My problem is getting the mic to work. I am almost positive the old one does not have a built in mic, does anyone know if the new one has one? I have a headset with both the earphones and the mic that I cannot get to work. There are two jacks on the back, one for input one for output. Neither headset mic is working. I even bought an adapter with two jacks and tried that, but it doesn't work. The output works both ways, it is just the mic I can't get to work. (Rosetta Stone software) Couldn't get much help from the Apple Tech support line. Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry if anyone has asked before but couldn't find specific.
My wife has recently purchased a Lenovo Ideapad A1 07 for its size, a friend who has a small android tablet also recommended to her, to buy a tablet case with combined keyboard with USB connection from amazon. When received the connection obviously doesn't fit, so I started searching around web for an adapter for it, but I’m seeing conflicting info that the ideapad either does/doesn't support USB data transfer connection point, so before buying an adapter what is correct!.
Can anyone throw some light onto whether Lenovo will update the firmware to be able to use USB at any time or has anyone have a work around. Any help and advice to get this keyboard working would be grateful as the tablet is a great little device for her.

If you are patient, go through the reviews of a specific USB keyboard that was suggested as an addition for Lenovo A1 by Amazon: You will see that even though users have tried different cables and adapters, no A1 user has managed to get this working on his tablet.
This issue may be solved by a future upgrade (if any), which will enable the USB OTG feature of the microUSB port of the A1 tablet. Until then, nothing can be done in order to have any USB device identified and working with A1. I really hope that I make a mistake here and that someone will come up with a working soultion for this issue ...

PDF Documents with Functional Buttons - Works for IE and FireFox but not for Chrome and Safari

Good morning. Our institution developed a PDF document with functional buttons for printing and e-mailing. When the document is viewed via Internet Explorer and Firefox, the functional buttons work as expected. However if the document is viewed via Chrome and Safari, the functional buttons do not work. The workaround for those who are using Chrome and Safari, the PDF document needs to be saved to their local drive before the functional buttons work.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? If yes, what was your solution other than the workaround.

Does the "Fill free space with music" not work like it did before?

Before updating my iphone 4 to iOS5, the fill free space with music seemed to rotate in and out music and also provided space to add more pictures, podcasts, etc. Now it just seems to fill the phone to the max on the first sync and just leave what it put on there in place. If I try to add something like a folder of pictures it will only add a few of the pictures because there is no room. Before I think it freed up room by deleting some of the "free space" music. I'd like to go back to that. I really don't want have to had select every song I put on the iPhone when I have more music than my phone will hold.

Also, how does it decide what to add to the iPhone?

Trouble with submit button working for some clients

I have an interactive order form on-line http://www.naspairshow.com/seating%20form. pdf and most people aren't having a problem with it. A few say it goes nowhere when they push the email button. I've suggested they save it as a renamed pdf and they say it won't let them do anything but print it. At this point I'm having them give me the info over the phone, but what needs to be done on their end or mine to make it work?

Graffiti is pointing out one of the major problems of using e-mail submission (Adobe says little about this major drawback - same type of problems as often found with HTML forms, but for a different reason). To use e-mail with PDF forms, the client generally has to have a MAPI e-mail client that they can use. Many folks do not have such and that is the hang up. You have 3 choices in that case. 1. As Graffiti mentions you can activate Reader Rights to allow them to save the file with data and e-mail it to you (a manual process and limited to 500 in the use aspect). 2. You can set up a web script on a server that the clients submit to (the best way). 3. You can set the form to submit HTML data and submit to a cgimail or formmail script on a server (many servers have this option available). You can even go as far as saying there is a forth option to convince the customers to activate a MAPI client on their machine - probably a bad idea.

I couldn't find any previous posts having to do with my problem. Basically, I have a Macbook Pro 17'' and when I have iTunes open, the buttons on iTunes I can press but then nothing happens. It still lets me hit play, next, etc. but for example when I click "iTunes Store" it does nothing. It also says that my phone is still connected, though it is not, and when I click eject once again it does nothing. If anyone knows a solution, please let me know. I've restarted my computer and tried quitting iTunes, but when i click "quit" on iTunes it once again does not listen to me. It's as if this program has decided it doesn't want to listen to me! All other things on my computer work fine.

OPPS!! Figured it out still had second monitor cord in, and thus was it displaying on the monitor that wasn't on. Duh

Help with making buttons work within mc/shape tween

i've created a movie clip for a navigation link named
"Products". when you mouse over the "Products" mc, the movie clip
has a sub-navbar that tweens horizontally out of the movie clip.
when the subnav is done coming out and stops, i have buttons that
appear that i would like the user to be able to click on.
everything works out fine until i roll over the button the rollover
state doesn't work. i have a feeling it is because the button is
nested, but not sure.

A single Path would just be an out line of your three shapes. As you knew to create the above using vectors requires three shape layers. Shapes can only be filled with a single color or pattern. They also can be stroked and have layer styles added. Additional strokes may be need to highlight the green area like you show above..
With CS6 you can merge shape layers into a single shape layer your result would be a single color shape however the merged paths would be the outlining path you seem to want. you can save the path in the path palette when the merged shape is the active layer.

When I buy the iPhone 5S, it dostn't show whether it is unlocked or not.
My Q is will that work in India with GSM carrier(or is it unlocked )?

That is not possible. there is no such thing as a factory unlocked phone from AT&T. All AT&T Phones are by definition locked to AT&T. The only way to get around this is to ask AT&T to unlock it. But you need to have been paying customer at some point.

Will any earbuds with a microphone work with Siri?

I don't exactly like the earbuds that come with the iPhone. Will any other earbuds that have a microphone still work with activating Siri? Or will some not work? I'd like some for when I go on bike rides and whatnot.

I had those earbuds but can't remember if they actually activated Voice Control (have a i4) or not. I know the Mic works perfect with the iPhone though.
Any earphone with the in-line mic and volume rocker should work with Siri. Siri can be activated regardless of PIN passcode but to unlock your phone will still require the PIN code.

I Have just bought an ipad2, I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes but i cannot sync correctly. The music is displayed in light grey font but with no album art and will not play. The photo albums are listed but with no photos inside. Do you have any answers to this? Help please.

Have you selected the content to sync to your iPad in your sync settings in iTunes. The content that you want to transfer must be selected (checked or "ticked") to sync out will not transfer when you sync.
For instance - if you want to sync music....
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
This applies to all content that you want to transfer from iTunes to your iPad. Make the selections in the appropriate tabs in the iTunes window on the right.
