Will  a Magic mouse work with a Ipad?

I was told you can pair a magic mouse with a ipad! Tried to sync , but it won't work. Someone else told me you have to jailbreak the ipad. Is this the only way?

To do what?
There is no cursor to move around on the iPad.

  • Will the Magic Mouse Work with the new iPad?

I know it can work with the wireless keyboard.... but will it work with the mighty mouse?

You could argue that the iPad doesn't have a use for an external keyboard either. Yet it supports one. And truth be told this is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, reasons having optional mouse support would be nice.
You see when typing on an external keyboard you have to reach up and over to tap the iPad. This gets tiring rather quickly. Ironically this is the very reason Steve Jobs argued that touchscreens don't work for notebook computers. A mouse would be more ergonomically sound in this situation. Also the method for selecting text with your finger kind of slow.
As for the lack of a mouse cursor.... as unsanctioned software tweaks have proven, one could easily be added while the mouse is connected.

  • Is it possible to use the Apple wireless keyboard with the iPhone 6? Will the Magic Mouse work with iMovie on iPhone6 Plus?

iPhone 6 page says that iMovie is a (free) application available for iPhone 6. When I use it on the desktop I need a mouse. Should I expect all controls to be touch-sensitive, or is it possible to use the wireless Magic Mouse? Similarly, if I want to type an email or a long document, is it possible to use the Mac wireless keyboard to enter text? With the iPhone 6 Plus taking over for laptops (phablet), it seems to me that input tools are relevant. Maybe what I'm asking is whether the iPhone6 (OS8) has drivers for these devices. Please advise.

Apps that are designed for iOS devices such as the iOS version of iMovie are intended to be used entirely by touch. It's worth noting that iMovie for iOS is not absolutely identical to iMovie for Mac OS.

  • Will the Apple Magic Mouse work with my Mac Mini?

    Hi
    I have a mid 2007 Mac mini — the Model 2,1 — running Mac OS X Snow Leopard, 10•6•8
I’m thinking of treating myself to the Apple Magic Mouse, or Trackpad.
Will the Magic Mouse, work with this model and version of the OS … ?
(I’m ALSO told I need to have Wireless Mouse Software Update 1.0: how do I go about checking that I do … ?)

I'm not sure about the 2007 mini, but a quick check is to open your system preferences and look for Bluetooth preferences.  If there aren't any, then no magic mouse for you...

  • HT4111 does the magic mouse pair with an ipad?

Does the magic mouse work with an ipad?

bburik, I do not think so. Ipad is all touch screen, and the pointer will not show up on the ipad. The ipad is made to only be touch screen. But what you can do, is buy an external keyboard for the ipad, and then you can at least type with an actuall keyboard. But no magic mouse.

  • Does Magic Mouse work with ipad air?

Does Magic Mouse work with IPad Air?

Yes, it is a Bluetooth device. However, my iPad will not connect to the mouse.  Not sure why.
I use my iPad as my personal computer. Mainly for surfing the web, social media, paying bills online... I already have a Bluetooth keyboard that connects to the iPad, so thought it would be nice to have a mouse.

  • Will iPhone battery charger work with my iPad 2 ?

Will iPhone battery charger work with my iPad 2 ?

It does work but it's not recommended:
    iPhone charger is 5W
    iPad needs 10W
So, yes you can charge an iPad but the iPhone charger will get spoiled and the charging will be very slow.
    Hope this helps,
    Ricc

Your question is too broad to answer. You must be more specific.

  • Will the magic mouse work well with my iMac G5?

I was wondering before i buy the Magic mouse cause my mighty mouse is getting old, if it will work with my iMac?
i did upgrade to leopard so i was wondering if it will work?
    thanks!

Based on the system requirements, on the product listing page at the Apple Store
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB829LL/A
it will work. Scrolling works with Leopard. +Momentum Scrolling+ makes the scroll continue a bit after you stop the motion with your finger, like the action has "momentum." Snow Leopard is required for that feature to work.

  • Will the Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse work with my iMac G5?

My Dad just sent me his old iMac G5 17". and I was wondering if the Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse will work with it!? I don't really have a place to put the computer.. so I was hoping to get the wireless mouse and keyboard so I don't have to be connected to the computer.

I have the most recent (2 AA batteries, not 3) wireless keyboard and magic mouse running on a PowerMac G5. Your iMac G5 has the same class of processor, which isn't Intel. My Mac has built-in bluetooth support, which is what these products use. I'm unsure if your iMac has bluetooth built-in or not, but if it doesn't, you can purchase the Belkin bluetooth USB dongle. That has been widely reported to work just fine within OSX.
Anyway, yes, your iMac G5 can run the wireless keyboard and mouse. You just might have to work a little for it.
    Good luck!

  • Why does only my magic mouse work with 10.6.8 update?!!!

Hi. Ever since updating my software to 10.6.8, the ONLY mouse I can use is the Magic Mouse - ANYTHING ELSE I try and use, wireless or not, will cause my computer to crash. I get asked to turn it off and back on. As soon as I try another mouse, I get a black curtain go down my screen and the message comes up. I have been getting these Kernal Panic things also when I start up with another mouse connected. I HATE THE MAGIC MOUSE! And now I am being forced to use it. Is Apple serious about this? It's ridiculous. I can't work properly with this mouse. HELP!!!!! Is there going to be any fix?

If your HP is networked and using Bonjour as a protocol, then the 10.6.8 update made some changes to the core backend services such as Bonjour and this could be causing the error. With the job in error in the print queue, you can highlight the job (click once to select it) and then press the Job Info button (the blue circle with the white I inside). Doing this will give more information about the problem. You can post that information back here so we can advise what steps to take next.
If the printer is connected to the Mac via USB then you may just need to remove the existing print queue, by opening Print & Fax and selecting the HP and then pressing the minus button. With the queue removed you can then click the plus button to add the queue again, selecting the HP in the Default Add Printer view.
