Will a Palm portable keyboard work with iPad?

I have a portable Palm keyboard that I use with a Palm TX. I want to know if it will work with an iPad, Does anyone know? Thanks

Palm has made a number of wireless keyboards and not all of them were even compatible with all of the different models of Palm handhelds. Different model keyboards required different drivers based on the OS version of the handheld. The one you have may well workwith an iPad or it may not, you will need to try. But I would not get my hopes up.
I can tell you that the Apple BT keyboard works a treat with my iPad 2 and the two look smart together.

will my first gen macbook work with ipad 2's face time?

As an update, I bought the WNDR3400v2 router and am supremely disappointed with its lack of power - but - the Lenovo W510 DOES work perfectly fine connecting to both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios.
The problem is the signal strength only twenty feet away up one floor is dismal (as compared to what it was with the ancient Linksys WRT54G for example).
What bothers me is that Netgear goes to great lengths to hide the power output of the radio so I 'suspect' that it is anemic and I don't (yet anyway) suspect the radio on the W510 laptop. Netgear support would only tell me the EIRP at 2.4GHz is 20dBm, and at 5GHz it's double that. So I can only assume the power output from that. If I assume a 5dBi antenna gain for both frequencies, that results in a power output guesstimate of 15dBm (32mW) at 2.4GHz and double that at, i.e., 18dBm or 64mW, at 5GHz.
The other side of the equation, of course, is the power & gain of the W510 radio & antenna.
Do we have specs for the W510 power output & antenna gain (e.g., a typical laptop is about 50mW (roughly 15 to 18 dBm)  pushed into an antenna with a gain of about 1/2 dBi to about 1 dBi at best, regardless of what the specification sheet intimates)?

  • Will I-Tech Virtual Keyboard work with iPhone 3G??

Hi, I was wondering if the I-Tech Virtual Keyboard (http://www.virtual-laser-keyboard.com/) would work with the iPhone 3G. Thanks!

I went to use the MMS App I downloaded for receiving pics etc... I got a message from Apple saying it is incompatible with OS 3.0 and if I wanted to continue using it, then download 3.0 later. Right! I will get rid of MMS and get 3.0!

  • Will a iPhone car charger work with iPad 2

Can a iPhone car charge a iPad or not? I'm using a DC/USB car adapter but when i plug it in it said Not Charging.

It will give that message but if you turn the iPad off (it won't charge if it is working) and give it about 8 hours it will charge despite that message.
You'd be far better off investing in a car charger designed for the iPad and you can also use it with your iPhone.

  • Will new iPhoto-Phone App work with iPad?

If I buy the new Iphoto app with my Iphone 4s, will I be able to sync it to a new Ipad later or will I have to buy a different version for the Ipad?  I just can't remember how those ILife Apps work as far as if you buy them on one device if they are good on all devices.
    Thanks for the clarification.
    Ehren

iPhoto for iOS will work on both iPhones and iPad. You'll need an iPhone 4 or later and and iPad 2 or later.

  • Will Privia PX-100 keyboard work with Garageband?

A friend is selling a Casio Previa PX-100 MIDI keyboard. It doesn't have USB, but I was hoping to use a MIDI-USB converter cable. Anyone had any luck with this keyboard or ones similar?
    Thanks,
    Alfredo

We're having what may be the same problem with a Casio PX-400R. See topic "Casio Privia Keyboard and Garage Band". Another discussion on the topic is "how do I find out if a keyboard is compatible."
We have a usb and a midi output. We've only connected with the usb device cable and the keyboard is not recognized. We found a store with a midi interface, but hesitate to spend the money if it is not likely that will solve the problem. Mac is not listed as one of the drivers on our Casiso CD listing of downloads so we think using a Casio with a Mac may be a no-go.
Our Casio manual only references outputting to a "computer". We're still holding out some hope.
If you have a midi cable and try it, we will be interested in the results.
    good luck.

  • Will MA591G/B work with iPad 3 ?

    Will MA591G/B work with iPad 3 ?
    http://store.apple.com/au-hed/product/MA591G/B?fnode=MTc0MjU4NjE

In the photo the connector looks the same, BUT in the "Compatibility" section it only lists iPad 1 & 2.
Other accessories have listing in "compatibility" section for iPad 1, 2,& 3, I thought this might be incompatible as iPad 3 isn't listed.
I don't have a problem with the cable I have { I don't think I do, anyhow }  I am wanting to have the extra cable in my Lounge room and one in Bedroom.
Will these allow me to connect to the Apple iPad Dock located on : http://store.apple.com/au/product/MC940ZM/A?fnode=MTc0MjU4NjE ?

  • Will a WD hard drive work with AirPort Extreme to connect with an iPad Air

Will a WD hard drive work with Airport Extreme to connect by a iPad Air

If you already have an AE and a WD drive .. the best idea is plug it in and see on a mac in airport utility is the drive recognised.
If not you have problems.. if it is formatted correctly (Not NTFS mainly) then it can be a drive that is not compatible.
assuming it works get your ipad and pay for filebrowser or at least download a test copy and see how it goes.
Always the best way to find out.. try it.

  • What to do with a Palm Portable Keyboard

I have a Palm Portable Keyboard that I used to use with the Palm IIIxe. My IIIxe still operates, but I don't use it much anymore. I've been wondering if there is anyway to convert the portable keyboard to a bluetooth device that could then be used with a smartphone. I'm sure it's a long shot, but has anyone adapted these to bluetooth or USB use with other devices?

Sorry, I've never heard of this being done.

  • Would Microsoft's surface keyboard work with the ipad air ?

Hi, I know that this might be deemed as stupid but I am just curious: Would Microsoft's surface keyboard work with the ipad air ?
Is the surface keyboard bluetooth enabled ? If so, then it should work, right?

No, it would not. The Surface is optimized and uses a different operating system than iOS7.
I'm pretty sure that both the Surface and iPad Air can use Bluetooth; but Bluetooth peripherals might or might not be recognized.

  • Documents To Go support for Palm Portable Keyboard Shortcuts

I’m using a Palm Tungsten E along with a Palm Wireless Keyboard (IR).
When using an application such as Memos, all the usual Palm Portable Keyboard Shortcuts (cursor movements, etc.) are supported.
When using DataViz Word To Go (Ver. 6.008 (761)), however, none of the usual keyboard shortcuts will function, making document editing (especially corrections and revisions) a total nightmare.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and, if so, how do I resolve it?
Windows XP Pro/SP3 on the desktop.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Their support model (unless you're prepared to fork out more money, I suppose) consists entirely of searching their inadequate knowledgebase; this contain only help articles, not bug reports along these lines.
I've always (and still) thought that the Dataviz knowledgebase was pretty good, and I have almost always found answers to my questions there.
Did you come across this article in your search, which solved the problem I was having with my Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard?  It's a simple matter of disabling the Active Text Field feature.

  • Polarioid pogo printer not working with ipad and iphone

And I can not believe how that truly *****... I am traveling through the states and bought the pogo to print on the road... Only to find out that it does not work with ipad and does not work with iphone... Unless I jailbreak my phone which I don't really want to do...
Apple wants us to go mobile and clouding and all those things, yet, when we do go mobile and try a mobile life style, we are encountering so much technical crap that we loose the will to live...
I could have spend the hundred dollar for the pogo to have pics printed out in every kiosk in the country...
WWhen is Apple going to come to its senses about little life savers like the pogo and bluetooth???????
Is anyone aware of a work around so I can print on the go? And a solution that does not involve a programmers brain because my single braincell is not working while traveling... It needs to be easy!

To cut through all the rage and anger and "knowing" who wanted what, the Pogo has been out for a year or so, well before Mr. Jobs' passing, and Apple did not make any mention of supporting printing on anything other than Airprint compatible printers.
Since Airprint is a Wi-Fi/ethernet thing, Polaroid would have to make a significant redesign to the Pogo.  Considering that the first iPhones only supported Bluetooth headsets and Apple didn't provide any indications about increasing Bluetooth support, Polaroid's decision for the Pogo to be Bluetooth was obviously not with iOS devices in mind.  This is why initially Polaroid had links on the FAQ to tell Apple to add Bluetooth printing support (so that in effect, asking Apple to pay for the expenses to make the iPhone compatible with the Pogo, rather than Polaroid paying to make the Pogo compatible with iOS.)
I come from a photograpic background.  I got the Pogo as soon as it came out.  I quite literally was on Polaroid's website every day checking to see when I could order it.  Having "instant" sticker prints is wonderful at family picnics with all the kids.  While it would be great to be able to get Pogo prints from anyone's iPhone, I stopped holding my breath when Apple announced Airprint, which came well after the Pogo was released.  So I took that as the sign that it was probably never going to happen.  (I knew that the Pogo wasn't iOS compatible when I bought it so not having compatiblity is not a deal-breaker for me.  But, yes, it would be nice.)
I now use a Polaroid Z340 since it's a 14 megapixel camera that prints larger 3x4 Zink prints.  Polaroid makes the GL10, which is basically a Pogo using the same printer as the Z340.  But it's still Bluetooth only.   So while I sympathize with the desire to have a really compact portable printer like the Pogo, iOS compatibility just does not seem to be on the horizon.  IMHO, it would be more realistic that Polaroid create an app to do Bluetooth printing.  But considering Polaroid's financial issues, I'm not holding my breath

  • Does Magic Mouse work with ipad air?

Does Magic Mouse work with IPad Air?

Yes, it is a Bluetooth device. However, my iPad will not connect to the mouse.  Not sure why.
I use my iPad as my personal computer. Mainly for surfing the web, social media, paying bills online... I already have a Bluetooth keyboard that connects to the iPad, so thought it would be nice to have a mouse.
