since you didn’t receive its original grey installation DVDs when you purchased it, you’ll need to contact Apple directly to purchase a replacement pair. (The grey installation discs aren’t available in the Apple stores.) Some Mid 2009 models originally came with 10.5.7 (Leopard), and some originally came with 10.6.0 or 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard). If yours had 10.5.7 installed, then you’ll probably receive a 10.5.7 set of grey discs from Apple. If you’d like to upgrade its OS to anything newer, then you’d also need to purchase the white retail Snow Leopard DVD — but you should wait to see what Apple sends you, since if they send you a 10.6.0 or 10.6.2 set, you wouldn’t need to purchase the white Snow Leopard disc. -

As for your iOS devices it depends on the player app being used to play the video. Some players will let you stream the video to your AppleTV others won't. For example, the YouTube player will allow it, but the Netflix player won`t. -

No, home sharing will not work for two different users on the same computer on a Windows based system as it requires iTunes running. It is not possible in Windows for both users to be running iTunes at the same time.
Instead, simply use the File > Add Files/Folder option in iTunes to add the content you want to your iTunesLibrary. Do the same for your husbands iTunesLibrary under his user. -
Will old iPad apps have to be rewritten for the iPad 3?
When running apps designed for the first two iPads on the iPad 3, what will happen? Will they:
- look exactly the same as on the iPad I and II, so therefore will have to be rewritten to take advantage of the higher resolution?
- *automatically* use the higher resolution without rewriting?
- show up in a tiny window in the middle of a sea of black, like when you run iPhone apps on an iPad?And I would presume that will also mean that using iPhone apps on the iPad will look even worse and maybe need a 3X key instead of 2X (or something like that)
If Apple was smart they told app developers a long time ago to make their apps scalable for larger resolutions -
