WIll any version of Audition run on Windows XP x64?

I still have ver 1.5, but I can upgrade. Thing is I just got a new PC built with Win XP x64. I assumed I'd be able to work everything out, but now I'm not sure. I must have Audition. Is anyone running AA on WinXPx64? Or am I sunk with this new machine? Thanks!
Peace,
Sanaka

There's definitely differences between W98 and W98SE. From what I know W98 does not provided much USB support and thus W98SE was released to provide the desire USB support. Although you can still use USB in W98, lots of problem may occur there. The explaination goes the same for Windows NT too. So that's probably why W98SE was quoted as the minimum OS require.

Will LabVIEW version 5.1.1 run on the Windows XP operating system?

We have recently installed it on WinXP, don't have a real feel for any possible issues, but the only noticeable issues was a little error message box "Wrong OS", which goes away when clicked. Good luck.

What combination of compile and run time is needed to get around this issue?
See [this|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=56787567] wiki. I think I may not have that wiki updated up to FP2.5, so the FP2.5 msm is here:
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100002975182010E/cr2008fp25_mm.zip
    msi is here:
    https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100002975312010E/cr2008fp25_redist.zip
Check the version of the CR assemblies referenced in your project. The use the wiki above to deploy the correct runtime.

  • Why will Quicktime 7.4 not run with Windows Vista?

I've installed this several times. Even had my Dell tech rep remotely access and install Quicktime for windows Vista version 7.4. Same error message appears when I try to run: "QuickTime Player requires Windows 2000 or later" (I have VISTA) hello?!!! the error message goes on: "Please make sure compatibility mode is disabled in the Compatibility tab of the properties for QuickTimePlayer.exe". Even in the compatibility tab, Windows Vista is not even listed. I'm so frustrated! I've purchase QT Pro and can't even use it!

  • Is adobe reader (any version) compatible if running ios6 on an imac?

I am trying to find out if I  have an iMac if I can run adobe reader from ios6.  I have
ios5 for windows installed now and it seems like it is not very compatible with ios 5 for windows, it only works about 1/2 the time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
edit: I meant to say that I am using a Safari Browser on a windows computer, but I am planning to
use an imac with safari and ios6 - thanks

You can install Adobe Reader for either Mac or Windows by going here in your browser: http://get.adobe.com/reader
That page will help you get Reader installed for that computer.
I am not aware of what message you are referring to that is telling you that Reader is not installed, or what application is showing that message.

  • Any version available to use with Windows ME?

Running Windows ME with IE 6. Many programs no longer support
IE 6. Cannot afford new computer. Is there any previous version
of Firefox available to use with Windows ME, and if so, how
    can I obtain it?

Firefox 2.0.0.20 is the last ever version of Firefox for Win98 / SE / ME.
Get it from here: <br />
    ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/win32/en-US/ <br />
''You may find that the same websites the won't let you use IE6 are going to give you problems with Firefox 2.''
You can try KernelEx to get Firefox 3+ to work, but it would be very slow with an old PC of less than 750Mhz.

  • ACS any Version with Domain Controller on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit

    Hi All
Is there currently any ACS version working with Windows Server 2008 R2 domain controllers?
Our server stuff has recently upgraded the Domain Controllers to 2008r2 and turned off the 2003 servers. This didn't make our ACS 4.1.4 really happy.
I've read now serveral posts regarding issues with ACS and Server 2008r2 and hope to find a solution (besides switching to LDAP, yukk).

  • Will Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro run on Windows 8?

I was wondering if my Adobe Acrobat 9x Pro software would run on a computer with the operating system Windows 8 Pro?

You are welcome to try but it was not tested.  Also from my understanding printer drivers have changed again in Windows 8 so it is unlikely you will be able to get the Adobe PDF printer to function.  Acrobat 10 and Acrobat 11 do function properly with Windows 8.  If you end up running into installation difficulties then you will likely want to consider upgrading to Acrobat 11.

  • Will adobe photoshop elements 12 run on windows 8.1?

I'm wondering if the new computer I'm getting will be compatible with photoshop. In the specifications, adobe goes up to Windows 8, but doesn't say anything about 8.1.

    johnk
I have put on my Photoshop Elements hat and went ahead and to try to install Photoshop Elements 7 on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
The installation was from an installation disc which was purchased when Photoshop Elements 7 Premiere Elements 7 was first released.
The installation went without interruption to a successful install. And, the Photoshop Elements 7 performs well.
So, it is not clear when you wrote
"I cannot install because it asks for a version of Internet explorer which I seem to have."
My browsers on Windows 8.1 64 bit are Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome. My default browser there is Firefox.
    Firefox version 36.0.1
    Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.17631
    Chrome 40.0.2214.115m
and none of these were ever mentioned or pointed to in the Photoshop Elements 7 installation on Windows 8.1 64 bit.

  • My version of FF running on Windows XP, SP3 was just updated (by FF, apparently) Now it crashes regularly (4 times in the last 2 hours) What is going on.?

Yesterday (19Feb) FF was working fine and I hadn't experienced a crash in several weeks. This morning, the program had crashed, and when it recovered, it said it was updating. Since then, it has crashed 4 or 5 times, usually just in a static (not bringing new pages up) condition. My computer hasn't been changed. The only add-ons running are McAfee Site Advisor 3.6.0, Noscript 2.6.5.7, and Xmarks 4.1.3

Key into the address bar ''about:crashes'' you should get a list of Crash IDs paste a couple of those into your next Message. Also ensure any security related software is fully updated that often causes problems when upgrades to Firefox are released.
    Standard reply:
We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
#Enter about:crashes in the Firefox location bar (that's where you enter your website names) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.
#Copy the most recent 5 report IDs that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your forum response.
Thanks in advance for your help!
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the [[Firefox crashes]] article.

  • Will xcelsius/dashboard 4.1 run on Windows 2008

Hi: I have deployed crystal server 2013 on Windows 2008.  Apparently, there is a Dashboard component involved.
The install doc  xi4_dashD_install_en.pdf (20120-3-16), on Page 15 mentions System Requirements.
Many windows systems are mention, however Windows 2008 is not mentioned.
What are the odds that  xcelsius-dashboard-4.1-sp03 or better will run on Windows2008?
                                     thanks, Stanley

Have you checked the PAM for the dashboard 4.1, it states it supports windows 2008.

  • Will Acrobat 9.5.2 run under Windows 8?

Transferred from Win 7 via PC Mover.  Printer did not transfer so I reinstalled from original CD.
When trying to print a Word doc, get error message in Printer box in Devices and Printers. No explanation of error.

If you have the printer in the list, try printing to file. Then opening the file in Distiller. This will test the basic functionality. The next step would be to try to print to the Adobe Port that is normal for the printer. It would help to know if you are dealing with a x64 system. There are a lot more problems for x64 systems as has been reported over the years. In such a case, you will definitely need to do the updates and hopefully that will fix things.
I have not found a lot in Win8 that is much different than Win7, but I did not do that complete of a comparison. The biggest difference is the "metro" interface or whatever it is called now that Win8 has been released. I replaced that start menu with the standard one, but can still get to the metro interface (got to figure out the correct name!) using the settings menu found at the right (may have to go to a corner).
Be sure to let us know what your results are and what version of AA9 gave a working result (assuming that happens).
