Will any Zen MP3 Players run on Windows

I've looked at the system requirements for some of the Zen MP3 players, and they all require Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, or XP. The OS I am currently running is Windows 98. I was just wondering, since there aren't too many differences between 98 and 98 SE, would a Zen MP3 player run on Windows 98?

There's definitely differences between W98 and W98SE. From what I know W98 does not provided much USB support and thus W98SE was released to provide the desire USB support. Although you can still use USB in W98, lots of problem may occur there. The explaination goes the same for Windows NT too. So that's probably why W98SE was quoted as the minimum OS require.

Older creative zen mp3 players suddenly not recognized by Wiindows Vista

I have three older Creative Zen mp3 players, a Vision M, a Sleek Photo and an Xtra. The computer has Windows Vista Basic. All thre players were working perfectly three or four weeks ago.. As of a few days ago. the computer is no longer recognizing? all three players. I tried system restore but but system restore is not working. Do I post this problem here or would the Microsoft support forums be a better place to go to for help for this? Thank you for any advice.

was installed recently from Windows Update. I tried doing a system restore, I have Windows Vista Basci, but I need to restore it to three or four weeks ago and system restore soes not go back that far. I have also done the sfc /scannow and the message I received was Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files ibut was unable to fix them. Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem? Recently installed the device driver for Creative Zen mp3 player on a computer running Windows XP. I understand this is compatible only with Windows XP.However someone told me that the same can be installedonwindows2000 also.Please let me knowhowit can be installed and what is the procedure for the same. I heard that some patches are available for windows 2000.Please do let me know the same in detail

I don't think I have ever seen a DRM WAV file on NetLibrary. I have only seen WMA or MP3 files. Contact them & ask if the file is supposed to be WAV or WMA. Also check that the clock on your player has the correct time & date.

Will any Creative MP3/Video Players Work With Vista Ultimate/Yahoo Music Out of the B

i've had a heck of a time getting my zen touch to work with my new vista ultimate dell pc, almost ready to give up. why i'm even thinking of getting another creative device given the above i'm not sure, but if i was, do any of the current devices (20gb or greater, mostly for music but want video capabilities) work with vista and yahoo music correctly and without a huge amount of heartache? and if not, any other devices i should look at? i really like the yahoo music service so don't want to go the apple route. thx!

iTunes is only intended for iPods and iPhones. In recent releases, Apple has instituted changes that prevent it from being used with other devices, e.g. release 8.2.1 deliberately broke the ability to sync with the Palm Pre.
Since you will be using multiple platforms, make sure that all music that your rip or purchase is in MP3 format. Then your music can be used in iTunes, Creative, or any other player or program, without conversion or compatibility problems.

Why will Quicktime 7.4 not run with Windows Vista?

I've installed this several times. Even had my Dell tech rep remotely access and install Quicktime for windows Vista version 7.4. Same error message appears when I try to run: "QuickTime Player requires Windows 2000 or later" (I have VISTA) hello?!!! the error message goes on: "Please make sure compatibility mode is disabled in the Compatibility tab of the properties for QuickTimePlayer.exe". Even in the compatibility tab, Windows Vista is not even listed. I'm so frustrated! I've purchase QT Pro and can't even use it!

Will Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro run on Windows 8?

I was wondering if my Adobe Acrobat 9x Pro software would run on a computer with the operating system Windows 8 Pro?

You are welcome to try but it was not tested. Also from my understanding printer drivers have changed again in Windows 8 so it is unlikely you will be able to get the Adobe PDF printer to function. Acrobat 10 and Acrobat 11 do function properly with Windows 8. If you end up running into installation difficulties then you will likely want to consider upgrading to Acrobat 11.

Will xcelsius/dashboard 4.1 run on Windows 2008

Hi: I have deployed crystal server 2013 on Windows 2008. Apparently, there is a Dashboard component involved.
The install doc xi4_dashD_install_en.pdf (20120-3-16), on Page 15 mentions System Requirements.
Many windows systems are mention, however Windows 2008 is not mentioned.
What are the odds that xcelsius-dashboard-4.1-sp03 or better will run on Windows2008?

Have you checked the PAM for the dashboard 4.1, it states it supports windows 2008.

You'd probably need to reformat the disk, but as the operating system is contained in the player's ROM, not the hard disk, and the hardware is fundamentally different, it wouldn't make any difference. Don't expect your player to turn into something else!!!

Will adobe photoshop elements 12 run on windows 8.1?

I'm wondering if the new computer I'm getting will be compatible with photoshop. In the specifications, adobe goes up to Windows 8, but doesn't say anything about 8.1.

I have put on my Photoshop Elements hat and went ahead and to try to install Photoshop Elements 7 on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
The installation was from an installation disc which was purchased when Photoshop Elements 7 Premiere Elements 7 was first released.
The installation went without interruption to a successful install. And, the Photoshop Elements 7 performs well.
So, it is not clear when you wrote

My browsers on Windows 8.1 64 bit are Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome. My default browser there is Firefox.

Any Creative mp3 players compabitle with iPod connection in Honda Civ

Just ordered one and it has an iPod connection. Does the Zen Sleek use the same type of connector?
BTW, Target is clearing out the 8GB MicroPhoto. Are larger capacities on the way?

If it's just a 3.5mm headphone jack that will work,
If they have an actual iPod dock connector then it won't, for that you require a fruity player only.

I noticed crossfeed circuitry on some external headphone am

It would be nice to have it built into an MP3 player. A crossfeed circuit allows part of the right channel signal to go to the left earphone and part of the left channel signal to go to the right earphone. The degree of crossfeed is controlled by the listener. The purpose of a crossfeed channel is to make headphone listening sound more like listnening with speakers. The vast majority of recording were made with the intention that they would be played back over speakers. Only a very small percentage of recordings(binaural recordings) were made with the intention of being played back over headphones.

Crossfeed is a particular addin to the output circuit of an amplifier where a bit of each channel is bled into each other to 'soften' the image of the sound stage a bit.
It would be a nice feature ... rather audiophile though and that does not seem to be where many of the mainstream players are going these days.
My Xin made SuperMicro headphone amp has a set CF circuit and it does help to enhance the listening experience with some music.
