Will Apple fit an SSD to an iMac after purchase at an Apple store?

I'm thinking about getting an SSD for my 2011 27" iMac, I was going to do it myself, but the details on status of warranty after that is a little hazy due to the 2011 iMac requiring certain modofications for it to run correctly.
So, I am at the point where I think i would be fine with accepting the probably inflated price of getting Apple to fit one of theirs to the machine. But I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience of getting one fitted after purchase at an Apple store, and if they knew of any price ranges, etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps, but maybe not, as what can they do with one with the UK plugs? I'm just saying regional things like that often have to be returned at a store in the country you bought them.
But, just go and ask as the worse they can say is no. If they do say no they cannot exchange it, then for very little money you can buy a UK-to-India plug adapter and use that charger in India anyway. Such plug adapters are only $2-$5 here in the USA on Amazon.

Only the carrier your phone is currently locked to can authorize an unlock. Apple can NOT do that.

You can try, but the iPhone warranty terms state that Apple "may" restrict warranty/service to country of original purchase...key word here is "may".

Will apple store do the migration from an Macbook Pro to Macbook Air?

I just purchased today a refurbished Macbook Air from Apple. I need to have all of the software, program files, emails, and the ktichen migrated to it from my Macbook Pro. Will my local Apple Store do the migration for me if I take them the receipt for my Macbook Air?

I am certain they will, I am less certain they will do it for free.
I seem to recall their charge is $50 but this may have changed.

Bad screen. Will Apple Store swap my hard drive into new machine?

I got my Macbook Pro 15" a week ago. Within a couple of days it developed a prominent green vertical line near the center of the screen, top to bottom. I have a meeting with a genius tonight. I assume they'll give my a whole new laptop. Can they swap out my existing hard drive to the new laptop? It's not that I have a ton of user data, it's more that I have installed boot camp and Windows 7 on the other partition and it would be pain to backup both partitions before this meeting.

So I took it to the Apple store tonight and they're going to replace the screen. They didn't have one in stock so they'll order that and it will probably arrive mid-week. Then I'll bring it back in, leave it overnight then come back again the next day. Three visits for a broken screen on a week-old laptop! I'm not too happy about that but at least I get to keep my HD.

There's only one way to find out what Apple might do in your case. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
I will say though that I've had two iPads and an iPhone and my wife also has an iPhone. Total use time is 6-7 years and we've never had a cable tear or fail.

Do this:
Create a separate user account for you. Launch iTunes, then Store>Authorize this Computer. Then:
By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you are using a new computer, your phone will see this computer as a "new" computer. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software, before you do anything else, as Apple makes no provision to do so:

Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under Preferences>Devices in itunes(under the edit menu if using Windows).
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Outlook, Windows Address Book) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect your phone, iTunes running, do not sync at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.

I have a nano that cant hold a charge. I was told by a friend that if I take it to the apple store they'll replace it for free because the "1st generation nano batteries don't hold a charge". I bought it last November.

That would be pushing it, a bit. As I said before, if the problem was due to something completely beyond your ability to fix/intervene, and your warranty was still good, then they would most likely give you a replacement.
So, if that's the case, just head in, ask for the iPod tech that's on duty & explain the situation. He/she will most likely take it to run some diagnostics, and if they're not able to fix the problem, then they'll discuss replacement options. (My brother was able to upgrade from his 3rd gen to a new 60gb video with a little extra $$-might work for you too.)

I've had my phone just two days, thinking about taking it Apple store to replace, will they? or will they just attempt to replace? its with Vodafone contract

a little example of "it's slow" would really help to see if it's really slow when you restored, did you restore from backup? because if the problem is in your backup, then you can restore all you want but itunes will sync the problem right back to your phone.
so what's "slow" here? seriously, you have to give more information if you need help.

Hi Guys,
This week my girlfriend's parents found that the screen on their ipad mini has multiple lines across it / and is off centre. they are currently in the US the week. I've booked it into the Sheffield Store (the warranty expires in March 2015), I have all the original payment details etc - will Apple deal with me in the absence of the owner? Hopefully so but I'd like to clarify one way or the other before going into store! It seems very difficult to ask Apple non-technical related questions like this.
