whenever i ask siri to search for an address it always says "i can only look for buisness' in the United States and when your using U.S English. Sorry About That" - Will they fix this for Australians?

Per Apple, Siri is currently in beta and basically only works in the US.
What you describe is not a glitch, it's simply a limitation of the beta application.

I must admit to having moved to iCloud to do this some while ago.
I had presumed the wording in iTunes and the big Sync button at the bottom did actually mean Sync.
However it seems you are explaining it is similar to the iMessages "Sync" across devices which is in fact actaully only "Display on All Devices". (What you do with an iMessage on one device does not effect it on another).

When will Apple fix the "Show my caller ID" glitch that effects service reception? IOS7 has done nothing if not made it worse

I have downloaded IOS7 specifically to try and solve this annoying glitch that disables the "Show my caller ID" and effects my service reception, I know it effects it as when I have no service I can guarantee that the "show my caller ID" selection is disabled, when I turn it on miraculously I have service once again.
Such a stupid little problem that surely is easily rectified.

Thanks for that but unfortunately been there, got the T-shirt, they replaced the phone with a new one, and still happens. I believe from what I have read, it's a software glitch that quite a few people have had problems with.

Will Apple fix the iOS 5.1 battery drain issue?

People keep giving battery saving solutions to the iOS 5.1 battery drain problem but that is not the issue. With iOS 5.0 battery life was terriable. Apple quickly fixed it with 5.01. Now with 5.1 battery life is back to terrible. I could go at least two days without a charge. After the update (and all my patterns and behaviors being the same), I don't even get a full day! Apple needs to fix this! Or allow us to go back to iOS 5.01. Will Apple fix this and if so how soon can we expect a solution?

Yes, you need to setup the phone as new. I understand your issues on the whole process of setting everything from scratch, I'm afraid that's the only way out. However, if you look closely, on the whole, it boils down to following issues only.
Contacts - You will get this back once you setup your iCloud account on the phone so it shouldn't be a great issue.
Apps - Do a transfer purchase to your mac/pc before going for firmware complete reset, once you set the phone as new, you can always sync back the apps. This beats the inapp things like game levels, or your pdf docs synced earlier. iBooks can be restored, otherwise enable document and files backup to iCloud in settings before resetting the phone, then you can get everything back from iCloud.
Mails - If you have a mac you can keep all your mail accounts configured on Mail.app, post install you can bring them back from Mail.app to phone easily; otherwise, I'm afraid you need to do everything manually
Settings - you will have to setup your wifi configuration, VPN if any manually from the scratch
Dispite all the hasseles listed above, the battery fix would be a hot sun on the face in a winter day. Go for it!

When will Apple fix the Sonos compatibility issue?

How soon should we expect Apple to work with Sonos to fix the compatibililty issue with Lion? I am a Sonos fan for the same reason I am a Apple fan, their stuff works and is simple. I would like to upgrade to Lion but read that the Lion release does "not support sharing drives formatted as FAT32" which apparently Sonos uses. Does this sound like a simple fix or a long term problem?

Appreciate the direction to check with Sonos. I looked again at their website and Sonos asserts they believed they had a working software update that would work with Lion during their testing, and while they had a few bugs they were working through prior to the Lion launch, the one issue they have yet to find a work around for is Lion's inability to share music files. Is there an underlying technology reason that would cause Apple to block access to music files?
I am fearful that I will be caught in the middle and have to choose between upgrading to Lion or abandoning my Sonos equipment. I hope this doesn't become an issue like the Adobe Flash vs Apple issue. I imagine most Sonos equipment owners did not purchase with plans of buying replacement gear every 4 to 6 years, unlike the mindset when purchasing computers where we expect to have to replace in 6 years or less.
Hoping for responses that may help Sonos equipment owners to gain insight into the underlying cause of the problem, and whether we should expect a SIMPLE solution soon.

When will Apple fix the iTunes update msvcr80.dll issue?

Just for the records, my Windows iTunes has become unusable, too. The buggy update 11.4.1 ist still offered to my other windows installations. At least, it should be immediately pulled back.
When will Apple deliever an automated bugfix to this update-mess? I do not intend to de-install and reinstall all my Apple-programs on my Windows machine (in fact, I don't use iTunes on Windows anymore, my Macs run flawless and there I have the actual database). Apple: you broke it. You fix it.

These are user to user support forums. There is no logical reason to expect a response from Apple here. Frankly Apple rarely releases statements, only software updates.

Prove you have a bent Plus. Post a picture, but be advised, I work for a technology company and if you post a picture of a bent phone that can be easily found through Google, I'll report you.

When will apple fix the icloud photostreaming?

1) I want to be able to delete individual files. Why wouldn't they allow pictures from the cloud to be deleted?
2) I want to be able to reset my photostreaming, currently iCloud services are busted, since Apple failed to plan to have enough servers for their new iPhone release. When is Apple going to fix the iCloud issue?
Here's the problem that I am currently having.

my photostram only works on the iOSdevice but stopped refrehsing in Aperture. ( worked before ).
Now I have 40 new pictures in photostream that I want in Aperture, but they never show up.
Another failing feature of iCloud.
Yesterday iwork on iOS deleted my pages and numbers files instead of syncing them.
I tink about stop using icloud.

This update is awful! I've waisted several hours trying to get my phone and ipod and ipad working. Apple has 2 days before I'm done with them all forever.

Will apple fix the ios 5.0.1 battery life soon?

Yesterday when I did the Update to IOS 5.0.1 it was the worst thing to do..... when I had IOS 5 it worked great! Since I did the update the issue was the battery life. I would charged up my ipad1 to 100% and every min it would lose one percent. Every minute until it died. Apple please fix this problem. Your getting me worried.How soon could you guess fix this problem. I wont have to wait 2 weeks or more will I?
Durring my observation I notice i had my ipad sideways and turned on my ipad and i heard a camera sound out of knowhere. Ipad 1 dosent have a camera and i dont have any apps that deals with camers? Just wanted to put that out there.

I haven't noticed any battery issues on my first gen iPad with iOS 5.0.1 (nor on 5.0 before that). Have you tried a reset to see if that helps (press and hold both the home and sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds until the Apple logo appears), and/or gone through a charge cycle (charge to 100%, run it down so that it powers off, and then re-charge to 100%) ?
In terms of the camera sound, if you briefly press both the home and sleep buttons then a screenshot is taken - if you look in the Saved Photos album in the Photos app you should find a shot of whatever was on your screen at the time.

Bluetooth Device Detection worked fine until the Ios 5 updates, now no-one seems to be able to detect devices...
i have also noticed now and then I have to restart my phone to connect to my wireless lan when I come into the house, whihc never hapened until these updates.
No infromation I have seen when a fix will be coming out or even recogntion that the updates messed things up...

Neither I nor anyone I know has had problems with bluetooth since updating iPhones to iOS 5.
I would wager in your case that it's user error. Replace User and problem will be solved.

When will Apple fix the itunes error that insists the computer is not authorized when it is.

I know lots of people post solution to this, usually trashing the device and starting with a fresh AID but that is not an acceptable solution.
APPLE if you are listening, we do not want to have to start from scratch after updating itunes!
I guess the problem might be linked to the fact that 4 different members of the family use itunes for their device but I am sure this is not unusual.

The account that was used to purchase 'CBi' is authorised, as is any other account that has content in that iTunes library and/or on the devices that are synced to it ?

It is obvious there is a bug with the remote app/iTunes home sharing - every time i use the remote app on my iPhone 5 i am told to open home sharing

Will Apple Fix The Safari 5.0 Crash Problem Ever!!!!!!!

I have had this Sarfari 5.0 crash problem ever since the update has come out. I see hundreds of forum members having the same problem. the forum moderators are doing their best to help them to solve the crashing problems but to no end the crashing problems are still occuring. I have about 10-15 crashes daily. I send all the reports back to Apple after every crash. Looks like Apple would get the message! What it is going to take before Apple decides to fix this problem for good? Hey Apple, how about an update to fix this problem!!!!!!!

If not, then uninstall your current copy of Flash, then reinstall new then repair permissions.
Uninstall Flash
Install the most recent version of Flash here.
Now repair permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

For me, it's keeping me from updating OS on my iPhone 4 and I know that eventually I will have to do so (as Apps and other features are updated based on new OS). I just hate to lose my helpful transit directions (and yes, I know I could find apps for specific transit companies, but what I have now with the Google Maps is just so perfect, one of the most helpful things on my phone)
