It's best to install Snow Leopard on one of the three remain drives without an Operating System.
You can then install the applications you need from the original media. Create a User Account using Setup Assistant.
Do you want to migrate User Accounts from the OSX LIon boot drive, or are you keeping the User Accounts separate?
Dual-booting just requires holding the option key during startup and selecting either Lion or Snow Leopard.

How do I download/install Photoshop & Premiere Elements 10 on new iMac with no disc drive?

My iMac hard drive recently failed and I lost everything. I just bought one of the new iMacs with no disc drive. I had purchased Photoshop CS5 in 2011 but it came with CD's for install. I stil have them but it doesn't do me any good since there is no disc drive to put them in on the new computer. How can I install Photoshop using my serial number from my original purchase? I downloaded the CS6 trial version and when I try to activate it with my old serial number it says it is invalid.

Download the trial from the Microsoft site, then activate with the code that came with your box set.
And yes, you can use Remote Disc to make use of the DVD unit on your PC.

I have a MacBook Air, with no CD drive. I just purchased 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 & Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 Premiere', from the 'Best Buy' store. I asked for help before I purchased the product, to make sure I did not need a CD drive to download 'Photoshop' to my MacBook Air, the lady told me I did not need a CD drive for it to download. I come home to download it, to find that there are no instructions for online downloading or downloading without a CD drive. I have tried calling customer service and doing research on the computer for help and I can not find any answers what so ever. I really need help with this, as I have deleted all of my photos and videos on my MacBook Air to free up enough space for 'Photoshop' to fit on my laptop. Please help AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, thanks!

I have a Mac Air with 10.10 . Just purchased a HP Laserjet Pro M201dw printer. I can not get the duplex printing to work in Word or Pages. It does work for PDF files in Acrobat Pro. It won't for emails. In Pages I see two- sided but it is dimmed. I look at setups and it shows two -sided is off but can't find a way to change this setting. In the printer setting itself, the duplex box is checked. Need help. Did notice the driver only goes up to 10.9 but it says on Apple site of supported printers this one is listed.
Appreciate help in solving this issue.

All I can suggest is that you open that file on the MBA and save it as a new file, then see if you can open the new one on the iMac.

I recently had to do a complete wipe of my five-year-old dual USB iBook after a leaf count error (no idea what that means, just that the disk utility and fsck couldn't do crud for it). I saved what I could on an external HD and now I'm looking to rebuild my system. The problem: I can't get back to my former OS (10.4). The reason for this is, my 10.4 state of bliss was due to an upgrade DVD that my then-partner used on my computer, running 10.3 at the time. Why did I have 10.3? Well, I sure didn't purchase it! Back in the day, I actually sent my iBook in under AppleCare for the notorious logic board repair/replace a couple years ago and it came back with 10.3 installed, gratis! Very cool...except now I have no disk for it. I DO have the upgrade DVD for Tiger, but that won't work while I'm running Jaguar (10.2).
Will Apple help me out with this if I, say, take it to a Genius bar? I know I just got lucky with the AppleCare upgrade, but I've been running my life around 10.4 for awhile now and 10.2 feels like the stone-age. Is there any way I can convince them to help me restore it back to its former Tiger self?
(by the way, my computer is still beeping to itself occassionally...I'm just going to try to ignore that sound).

HI, Andrea. More or less by accident, Apple has allowed you to use Panther and then Tiger on a trial basis at no charge for some time. Your next step is to buy one of them yourself. You aren't owed another free copy of either.
If the Tiger DVD your ex-partner used on your machine was an upgrade-only disc, it may have been offered at a deep discount to buyers of new Macs who purchased them with Panther installed, but after Tiger had been released. I got a Panther upgrade installer of the same kind on that basis a couple of years ago, when I bought a new Powerbook with Jaguar installed on it after Panther was introduced. The license for the software on that disc allows it to be installed on one and only one Mac.
In any event, you need to pony up for a retail installer of the OS you want.

Hmmm ... I see the font in my Font Book and in Suitcase Fusion, but it doesn't appear on the list of fonts in either Word for Mac or Text Edit, no matter what I tried. I attempted quitting all applications, cleaning the cache using Suitcase Fusion, and rebooting the computer, but no dice.
You think this is an installation or configuration problem my local Apple store could help fix ... not an underlying incompatibility? If so, I will take it in.

We are not Apple, and Apple does not unlock phones. Sprint will unlock phones, but you have to qualify. One of the qualifications is to have been a customer in good standing for a period of time. You can check their website for what that is. After that, they can unlock the GSM side of the phone for International use, that is it. If you are on a CDMA carrier, then it cannot be unlocked. Are you trying to use a local SIM card in China?
Your only option is to contact Sprint to see if you qualify for an unlock. Only they can unlock it. Sprint is one of the poorest choices to take to another country.

Apple's fix will consist of replacing your iPhone with a refurbished one, at a cost to you of about half that of a new model. This assumes they accept yours for that program but I have not heard of any instances in which they refused.
