- same screen size as the 5 -- or even the 4
- Much longer battery life -- even if tha means a heavier, thicker phone

The iphone is too small for me to use for the internet (maybe it's my age)-- especially for Facebook--where I am a Page Administrator, but the mini ipad would be just right for both phone and internet. Well, since you've had the same problem, with three different phones, that all use different size sim cards, it seems pretty obvious the problem is with your carrier/coverage & nothing to do with your phone or sim card.

I dropped my IPHONE 4 into the toilet it is still under the 1 year warrenty my carrier is AT& T and I have insurance on it also. My cituations is I've put it in rice and I shook it to hopefully get all od the water out - my screen comes on but is is blinking from bright to dim then no screen. It is saying NO SIM & It will not allow me to go into my settiings or any of the apps. I plan to take it into the AT & T store in the morning and find out if they will replace it or fix it? My fingers are crossed and I'm praying

hey grubbin. not true not true, long story short my friend bought a iphone off a friend that his ex girlfiriend forgot behind and her plan ran up, ( HOWEVER THIS IS PREPAID I THINK) and nothing was owed on it, but the new buyer got on verizon and the phone was not registered , there was a plan but the phone its self wasnt registered so my friend was able to get online register the phone with verizon and reset it to all his info and apple id and he uses the phone to this day. So it is possible , HOWEVER again if whoever lost it is going to report it stolen you dont want a receiving stolen property charge. Choice is yours.
But that brings up another question? If someone loses their iphone and reports it lost and gets a new phone then would you be able to activate it and use it or should it be returned to apple, but who would pay out their own pocket to return a phone that isnt theirs

They should have one in Stock, but you never know. Call your Apple Store and tell them you have an iPhone 5 color and GB, and that you most likely will need a replacement, do they have any in Stock. If yes, go in, if not ask for advice on how to handle your problem.

If Apple determines the iphone to be defective, then they will replace if it is inside the warranty period. No one here can tell you what Apple will determine.
It sounds to me like your iphone is not defective. Newer iphones are no different than older ones. Not sure that that would make any difference.
You can make an appointment at the genius bar and see what they say if you like.
