Is the MacBook LCD physically damaged? Physical damage is not covered by the Terms and Conditions of your limited warranty.
If the MacBook LCD is flawed or defective then it's replacement would be covered by your limited warranty.

Not if it was caused by accidental damage. You can make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and see if they do screen replacement. If they do it is $149, if they can't it is $229 for an out-of-warranty replacement. If you bought AppleCare + it is a $49 deductible.

I have a problem with the trackpad on my macbook pro 13''. not all the time but sometimes it feels loose and when you click down it it it clicks twice instead of once. i took it to the apple store and they altered the trackpads clicking space beneath so it clicks down further but this has not helped so i was wondering if apple will replace my macbook pro. however there are a couple of small scratches on the shell of the macbook pro which obviously have no effect on the working order of the trackpad but will apple refuse to replace my macbook with this cosmetic damage? also i would also like to know if anyone else has had the same problem with a loose trackpad that doesn't click correctly. thank you

if your MacBook Pro is no longer in its warranty period, then they will not replace it. If it is still in its warranty period, refer to its warranty in your region to see whether replacement would be an available option for you.

Take it to your local Apple retailer to ask. I believe they will replace it for you.

My macbook pro charger has a little split. The charger in still in the warranty period but I don't have the receipt. Just wondering will Apple replace my charger?

No. You must call and make an arrangement to return yours for a replacement. They will set up the return and send you a box and shipping label. Then you send your old charger, cable, etc. back. A new one will be returned to you.

I was just looking and people were saying that as long as you take it to an apple store and prove to them that it's legitimately broken, they will fix/repare it, even if it's out of warranty. Is this true?

Generally not.
Like any manufacturer, if Apple has a "run" of a particular problem, they may extend the warranty on that component.
Sometimes if a problem occurs shortly after the warranty runs out, they'll cover part or all of a repair.
All Macs come with a one-year warranty, but you can purchase AppleCare to extend it to 3 years. Most extended warranties aren't worth it, but this one is. Note that it does not cover theft or things like liquid spillage. You can get it direct from Apple, but sometimes at a discount from resellers. I also have a 32G 3GS (also under warranty), and it was having issues with the side volume on/off key and with 3G reception. I took it to the Apple Store, and I got a new version of the same model. It might have been refurbished -- don't know. But it's new to me. Though the side volume on/off key works just fine now, I'm still having some 3G access issues. out of no where my MacBook which is less than a year old stopped working, so i tried taking off the screws myself to see if there was something inside the computer. When i put the screws in a few of them fell out a few days later. I really need to get my computer replaced but it is missing a few screws... will this count as "damaged" and void my warranty?

Apple have just replaced aMLB $945 aus. as my macbook pro graphics card failed. but 4 weeks later the screen has gone blank .i will take it in as the Mlb is still under warranty. could the MLB be damaged or worn out.?

what do you suppose is wrong with my macbook pro seeing as the apple store have just replaced a MLB at $945aus because of a failed graphic card. the new one they replaced lasted 4 weeks and again a blank screen.

You have a 90 day warranty after your machine has been repaired. Call the Apple Store/AASP and have them take another look at it.

If they checked your iPad serial number, they would know if you have AppleCare+. If you purchased it either with your iPad, or within 30 days of your purchase (which would have required you to take your iPad to your Apple Store to be personally evaluated), you would have paid $99 for the coverage. And Apple would have mailed you in a separate envelope the terms of the AppleCare+ coverage. I certainly know that all my Apple devices are covered undered AppeCare+. Did you purchase this coverage with your iPad? At the time you could have purchased AppleCare or you could have purchased AppleCare+. If you purchased AppleCare, but not AppleCare+, you would not be eligible for the $49 replacement.
