Will Apple replace my product even if its out of warranty?

Ok, so I'm thinking about getting a MacBook Air 11.6" and (although I'm VERY careful with my electronics), I have bad luck and something always seems to go wrong. I was just looking and people were saying that as long as you take it to an apple store and prove to them that it's legitimately broken, they will fix/repare it, even if it's out of warranty. Is this true?

Generally not.
Like any manufacturer, if Apple has a "run" of a particular problem, they may extend the warranty on that component.
Sometimes if a problem occurs shortly after the warranty runs out, they'll cover part or all of a repair.
All Macs come with a one-year warranty, but you can purchase AppleCare to extend it to 3 years. Most extended warranties aren't worth it, but this one is. Note that it does not cover theft or things like liquid spillage. You can get it direct from Apple, but sometimes at a discount from resellers. Apple does not have an iPhone replacement service, but they do have display repair service. So you may arrange the display repair for $149,99, send them your iPhone, and they will send make a like for like change. You may receive:
-the best case - the new iPhone 2G, (of course not retail box, no charger or other accesories, you will receive just phone sealed in tape, in a small white box).
- the worst case - the new iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 (the same no retail box, etc.).
If you are lucky, you will receive the iPhone 2G which is more than $500 worth on eBay.

Take it to your local Apple retailer to ask. I believe they will replace it for you.

The estimated delivery dates generally arrive more quickly than the estime. You can make arrangements with the carrier to leave the package with a neighbor, pick it up at the facility, etc. I've had very good luck with FedEx (less so with UPS) delivering a package within a 2-hour time frame.

Is the MacBook LCD physically damaged? Physical damage is not covered by the Terms and Conditions of your limited warranty.
If the MacBook LCD is flawed or defective then it's replacement would be covered by your limited warranty.

If your phone is out of warranty you will be given the option of buying a new phone or getting one with an out of warranty replacement, which is cheaper that buying a new phone.

hey grubbin. not true not true, long story short my friend bought a iphone off a friend that his ex girlfiriend forgot behind and her plan ran up, ( HOWEVER THIS IS PREPAID I THINK) and nothing was owed on it, but the new buyer got on verizon and the phone was not registered , there was a plan but the phone its self wasnt registered so my friend was able to get online register the phone with verizon and reset it to all his info and apple id and he uses the phone to this day. So it is possible , HOWEVER again if whoever lost it is going to report it stolen you dont want a receiving stolen property charge. Choice is yours.
But that brings up another question? If someone loses their iphone and reports it lost and gets a new phone then would you be able to activate it and use it or should it be returned to apple, but who would pay out their own pocket to return a phone that isnt theirs

If you mean the Extended Warranty, then, no, Apple does not replace stolen or lost iPhones. If you have theft protection through other insurance, then report it to your agent. Be sure to report the theft to the police.
I would not hold your breath waiting for it to be recovered, however. Very few items like iPhones that have been stolen are ever recovered.

I have an iPod touch 5g, which i bought in January of 2013. This iPod has been malfunctioning for a couple of days now. I connect it to a power source since it indicates its low on battery. When I do, it turns on, however, it will not charge much and the battery will continue to be red on the top right hand corner of the screen. I have an app which helps indicate around how much battery the iPod has. This app says that the iPod never charges past 15% and if i disconnect it, it shuts down. If the problem is in the battery, and it's a hardware problem, will Apple replace my iPod? Can they still do it? It is over a year old, but after all, i paid for a product that would last longer than a year and a half, didn't I?

You no longer have warranty coverage. Whatever Apple will do you will have to pay for it since it is out of warranty.
