If I take my iPhone 4 to an apple store will they replace my broken screen or will they just replace my whole phone and can I have it replace for and iPhone 4s if I pay the extra money for it?

You can continue to ask the same question, but the answer will always be the same.
Again, APPLE DOES NOT FIX PHONES; THEY REPLACE THEM. You will receive the same make, model and color phone in replacement as the phone you turn in.
If you want an iPhone 4S, you'll have to sell your iPhone 4 and use the proceeds to buy a new 4S. There's no "trade in" or upgrade.

It will reset your cellular statistics, such as how much data you have used since the last reset, how much call time you have, and the individual app statistics that are showing with all of the apps you see in the list, as well as the system services. I use it all of the time. It will have no affect on your data or phone content.

Dirt Under 3GS Screen, Will Apple replace?

Hey all,
I got my 3GS at launch and there is now alot of dirt under the screen, makes it a bit hard to see in daylight and gets really annoying. The rest of the iPhone is in PERFECT condition. Will Apple replace it? I live far from an Apple store so it is a pain to go and I don't want to waste my time. I had a 3G that I used for a year before the 3GS and never had a dust problem.

So, for example, environmental things like being a construction worker and getting that road dust in the phone, yes technically it's not you putting the dust in but you have placed the phone in conditions that most likely will result in dust under the screen...
That or if you always put it in your pocket that is dirty or dusty or has lots of lint... if you end up getting lint under the screen that would still be considered user created.
Clearly not all blemishes can be avoided but the ones that are certainly due to the conditions you place the phone in are not typically covered.

Your warranty is cancelled by damaging your iPhone unless you pay Apple for a replacement, and then you get only 90 days, I believe. So going third-party probably doesn't hurt you that much.
As to getting something for free or a reduced price just because you bought a lot of products, that's totally unrealistic. No one does that, not when the problem wasn't the company's fault. I've purchased mutilple Hyundai cars, but I wouldn't expect them to discount a windshield replacement if I drove the car into a building. If this iPod failed on it's own multiple times, then I'd agree that you were owed something. But expecting free or discounted stuff because of your own mistake is totally different and unjustified.
'nuff said on the subject. Again, feel free to purchase from any other company you feel would treat you better.

Not unless you've got accidental damage cover on it with Apple and I don't think that's even covered with Applecare - if you have that then check with them directly.
Otherwise you may need to see if you can claim for it under your house contents insurance.

They should have one in Stock, but you never know. Call your Apple Store and tell them you have an iPhone 5 color and GB, and that you most likely will need a replacement, do they have any in Stock. If yes, go in, if not ask for advice on how to handle your problem.

1) Buy a replecement apple will give you half off on a new one if you give them the old one
2) check the receipt and if its under a year old call the store you got it at (if you got it at an apple store you can try but dont get your hopes up)
3) buy a replacement sceen kit they come with the screen and the tools to extract the old
