Will archived e-mails be saved on the cloud? Will it count as my data?
I have 16 gigs of mail. If I put it in archive will it be saved and not count?
Any mailbox listed under 'iCloud' in the Mail application lives on the iCloud server and will count towards your iCloud storage.
If you create a mailbox on your Mac and drag selected messages to it they will now live on your Mac and not count towards your iCoud storage (nor, of course, be accessible online or by other devices).

Does anybody know if you uninstall iTunes (mine is giving me an error message) and then re-install, will my music still be there (somewhere?) I don't have it saved to the cloud, but it is on my iPad I recently upgraded my iTunes account and now I can't open it. I get an error message and it says I need to re-install.
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Go to the open dialog in Pages and select iCloud.
Click on the folder that you created on iCloud to open the folder.
On the lower half of the window (the open folder) click on the name of the folder.
Once you click and select the folder's name it should be editable. -

I too need to make "Real Copies" of images and hate doing anything directly from the OS because of the chance that my LR catalog gets out of Sync with the actual images on the computer. So I make the copies inside LR with an export routine and then move the copies inside of LR with the normal drag and drop. Once the export preset is created it can be executed from the Library Grid by right-clicking on the image (or selected images) to make the copies. My settings are as follows in case you are interested:

How do I know if my purchased music is being saved to the "cloud" so I don't need to do any other storage?
You're purchased music is not so much saved to the cloud, but rather indexed, since it is already in the cloud by virtue of being in the iTunes store.
If you want to check whether your purchases are being indexed or not, go to the purchased section on the main page of the iTunes store. There you will see a list of all your purchased items. -
I just purchased an iPhone 5 and my phone has many duplicate contacts on it. I want to edit my contact list that's saved on the cloud and then replace the contacts on my phone with the edited list. I have spent hours but no success yet.

So when you edit in iCloud you are not seeing an update on your iphone?. I just did a test in iCloud.com and it changed my iPhone contact list in less than 1 second. So iCloud is functioning fine.
If you delete all the contacts on your iPhone and if you are properly synced they will all be wiped out on iCloud.....ugh! So let's not do that...
Your plan should be to make all the changes in iCloud and have them flow down to your iPhone. That sounds what you are trying to do anyway.
So. if you delete a contact in iCloud or edit a contact in iCloud then you are not seeing the changes on your iPhone?
If so then they are not properly synced..... but I wonder how you have any contacts in iCloud.
Let me know if you are seeing any changes, if mot then we can review the syncing set-up.

That's a sign that the iWork applications are no longer in the iWork '08 folder in the Applications folder. The same applies to iWork '06 & iWork '09 installed from the retail DVD or downloaded trial. Iif you're not running the latest versions of the iWork apps installed from a retail box or the downloaded trial & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. If you installed from the downloaded trial or the retail box, they must be in the iWork ''08 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '08. If it doesn't have the '08 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work. -
How can I stop music and movies from being automatically deleted from my phone and saved on the cloud? I've just tried to watch a movie on my 2 hour commute, but yet AGAIN it has been removed. I do NOT want to spank all of my data allowance downloading it again, especially because (believe it or not) I added it to my phone because that's precisely where I wanted it!! But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap. -

Once I filled/edited files on acrobat, I am unable to print or save, but it shows that it's automatically saved in the Cloud. How do I access my files saved in the Cloud and how can I print the edited files?

Hi. I just got the iPhone 6, plugged into itunes and made the mistake of putting an OLD back up on my new phone resulting in losing all contacts after 2013. They are not saved on the cloud. Is there any way to go back to before I screwed up?
If you have performed a sync with the device since you restored this old backup, then don't bother looking for another backup. iTunes writes over the last backup each time you sync. If you were handling contacts in iCloud, you would find them by logging into iCloud. Or you can check settings and iCloud and see if the button it on for Contacts. Otherwise it might have been on the computer, if you had a program that syncs with iTunes and handles contacts, depending on the computer system you use. If Windows, it would be Windows Contacts or Outlook. If a Mac, there is a Mac Address book as well.

If you mean that you have iTunes Match and wonder why not all songs go there, this should help:
"Since there are more than 26 million songs in the iTunes Store, chances are your music is already in iCloud. And for the few songs that aren't, iTunes uploads what it can't match ..."

I have a library of uploads in the Cloud about 1/25 of max limit for my Match acct. It refuses to update the status inside iTunes while it updates several versions behind as it pushes my uploads to the mobile devices. It has a threshold?! First, the check items to upload would be a problem. After gertting a majority of matching done - Nada, spins for days.
All my Cloud activity, now, happens on an additional desktop OS laptop, and not my macmini server proper smart playlist library where reside all the orginal files - it just sticks on Waiting!? Today I Learned » if there is a conflict in the Cloud, then anything uploaded as a .wav: status is matched as an iTunes Plus setting, uploaded designation is treated/converted as a MPEG-4 audio file - only on the Cloud files - which I have never had in my conversion workflow . I wish a monitor would reply b4 I hit the jump to Spotify.
