Will Boot Camp work with the new Macbook Airs?

I want an 11.6" MBA now, but I want to be sure I can put Windows 7 on it if I need to. Will this just work like the other MacBooks? Does the new MBA software USB key come with the Boot Camp setup files? Thanks!

I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 on my MBA 11" using a USB flash drive and a program called rEFIt, http://refit.sourceforge.net. it's a free program that also lets you install Linux too. you can even triple boot.
i have had no problems with my MBA and i've had it for a few weeks now. it's awesome.

I have a first generation MBA, model identifier MBA 1.1, and want to know if my mini display adapter will work with the new LED Cinema Display. The new display isn't shipping from Apple until some time in November so the only direct feedback you'll get is from anyone that's been to the store and played with the demo unit.
With that being said, it would appear (based on the system specs and requirements, posted on the site) that the new display requires the new adapter type that's found only on the new MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

I agree with SP Forsythe recommendation, you can buy Parallels Desktop 7 ($79.95) or VMware Fusion 4(49.95) these programs make what is called a virtual machine on your iMac it's like any other program, but is is designed to run Windows and other OS along side of your Mac OS no need to restart your iMac, the main advantage. Note: You will need to have a full version of Microsoft Windows.

I cant not get my USB ethernet adapter to work with my new Macbook Air.

So this is the second adapter I have bought and it seems to not work still. I didnt check System info on the first adapter but on the second one i noticed this. The current required mA is unknown. Is there a fix for this or should I try and get another adapter. I have the 2011 MacBook Air running lion.

Planning to get New 27" Does Boot camp work with the 1T and 3T Fusions Drives

I am planning to get a NEW 27" IMAC [if they ever come out] and use Parallels Desktop® 8 or Bootcamp for Gamming.

I work with Photoshop, some Video and Play World of Warcraft.
Planning to do Gaming on the PC Side with using Bootcamp or Parallels Desktop® 8.
As you see I was planning to get the 3TB 7200rpm Fusion Drive.
But I don't know if it would work with Bootcamp.
Not sure if a separate Volume need to be made for the PC side?

Is there a way to predict which video projectors will not work with the 2012 MacBook Air using the Mini-display to VGA adapter?

I recently upgraded from a 2011 MBA to a 2012 MBA due to the larger capacity SSD. The 2011 MBA running Lion and Mountain Lion worked with every video projector for lectures. The new 2012 MBA is hit or miss with video projectors. It is not an adapter problem. I have multiple Apple mini-display to VGA adapters with the latest firmware. They all work just fine with the 2011 MBA. Re-starting the 2012 MBA with the adapter and projector connected has not helped.
It it not acceptable to have a laptop that works with projectors some of the time. Apple is aware of the problem. Is the only choice to go back to the 2011 MBA?

I installed 10.8.2 update today with my 2012 MBA. The details of the update include: Resolves a video issue with some VGA projectors when connected to certain Mac notebooks.
I tried using the MBA with a video projector and it found the correct resolution and connected with the projector automatically. Using detect displays in the disoplay preference pane wasn't even necessary.
I hope this is the fix I have been waiting for with the 2012 MBA.

Does Boot Camp work with Fusion Drive

After having Boot Camp fail this morning while partitioning the drive, and now having to erase and restore my entire hard drive, 500GB worth of crap, I am wondering -- does Boot Camp work with the fusion drive? My new iMac has one of these things, and I am wondering if that is maybe the reason it did not work.

I can't sync my iPad 3 with iTunes using the new Macbook Air

When I connect my iPad 3 with its original cable to my new MacBook Air, the charge symbol in the iPad starts to blink and the iTunes keeps connecting and disconnecting the iPad (more than one time per second).
I can sync my old iPhone 3GS with the new Macbook Air and I can sync both iPhone and iPad with my old 2009 MacBook.
I found similar questions in the forum, but didn't find a solution. I can charge my iPad using the outlet, by I still need to backup and sync the iPad.
BTW, every software is updated.

i have the same problem. I am noy able to connect the iPad3 to my new Macbook Air. It only cycles the charging icon and itunes states the phone has been disconnected.

Can I connect the new Macbook Air 11" to firewire 800 drive?

I have a fast Firewire 800 outboard Disk Drive [Oyen 1TB 2.5"] which works flawlessly with my iMac desktop.
Its portability makes it ideal for use with the new MacBook Air 11" [Lion], as a means of making all my data available while traveling.
Is there a way to interface the FW 800 port of the drive to the Thuderbolt port of the Air?

Sonnet has announced a Thunderbolt to FW800 adapter, and Apple lists this adapter as a featured accessory for Thunderbolt. I called Sonnet and asked when it will be available, and they indicate the end of Sepetember. So, hopefully it's not "vaporware".

There seems to be a problem, just now, with the USB 3 ports on the new MBP's supporting eternal USB 3 drives. Some people have no luck at all - can't even recognize the drive - and some are reporting USB 2 speeds (those who drives are recognized). I'd call a dealer such as LaCie or OWC to see if they have USB 3 drives that actually work with MBP's with USB 3 ports. You may have to wait for a software/firmware update.
