Will corupt iPod infect another iPod if connected to same computer?

I have a corupt iPod which I cannot fix despite lots of suggestions from this site. I want to put all the songs in my iTunes library onto my friends brand new iPod as we have a party this weekend that we want all my music for. Will this cause a problem to her iPod? Also I have the same concerns for if/when it comes times to me purchasing a replacement iPod - will it effect my new one or will I have to delete my current iTunes,reinstall and start all over again? Thank you

Will not turn on or screen remains dark
- Connect iPod to power for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has enough charge to allow iPod to turn on.
- If iPod does not turn on after ten minutes, try resetting the device while it is still connected to power. Reset the iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down button for at least eight seconds or until you see the Apple logo appear.
- If the Apple logo appears on the display, connect iPod to a computer and verify that it appears in iTunes and can play music. If iPod appears in iTunes and can play music, no further troubleshooting is needed.
- If the screen remains dark and will not turn on, then your iPod may need service.

So I plug it into the computer and itunes says it needs to restore, so I click restore, everything seems to go fine, and it says the ipod needs to restart, it does, has a lil progress bar go across the ipod screen, then itunes detects the ipod again and says it needs to be restored again. This is an endless loop, anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

Have you synced apps from this computer/iTunes library before? You an only sync app from the one syncing computer you can have.
Are the apps compatible with your model iPod/iOS
Do you have restrictions set that would prevent installation of those apps?

My mistake, it was nothing to do with format. It woldn't sync because my movies were HD. HD movies won't sync to an iopd classic 160 GB but when you purchase a HD movie, itunes gives you a SD vervsion of the movie which is compatible with the ipod. Just needed to go to store, click movies, click purchased and untick the HD box and there you have the SD versions. Download the SD versions and then sync your ipod and bobs you uncle, movies are on the ipod

When my Ipod is connected to the computer, it does not recognize there is a device. I have been able to sync my Ipod to my Itunes in almost 4 months. Songs transfer to Ipod but the playlists do not. I have tried to figure out the problem and nothing has worked so far to correct the problem. I hope someone is able to help me.

Cannot sync my iphone with itunes as it says it is already synced with another itunes library on the same computer.

On connecting my iphone 4S to itunes I am unable to add any music from my itunes library and get a message saying it is already synced with another itunes library on the same computer. In case you didn't fully understand what dallon meant, it means another user account on your computer. You set that up in Windows and then instal iTunes onto that account.
That way, you each have your own desktop and your own itunes. You can link to the songs in the other person's library as well, but you cannot run both iTunes at the same time. (That simply means you need to close it on the first account before opening it on the second account.)
