Will CS2 work on System OSX10.7?

Will Creative Suite 2 Premium run on a Macbook with system OSX version 10.7, Processor 2.26GhzIntel core 2 duo? if not can I upgrade and would you give a rough minimum cost estimate?

No and no. CS2 would require a PPC Mac and you are long past any upgrade cycles. You can only buy a new license of a current version.

Will CS2 work with Apple's Mountain Lion?

    Hi,
You might see errors such as "You can't open the application Adobe <App Name XXX> because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."
You might also like to visit this page http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/error-powerpc-applications-supported-photoshop.html for a similar scenario with Adobe Photoshop.

  • Will CS2 (InDesign & Photoshop) work on either/both Windows 7 pro and Windows 8?

I have CS2 and years ago used Photoshop and InDesign for making books. I would like to use it again for the same purpose.
Will it work on either (or both) Windows 7pro and/or Windows 8?
My computer died and I need a new one. If my older programs won't work at all on Windows 7 pro or Windows 8; then I would like to shift to Apple computer.
However if they will still work on the newer operating systems (either 7 pro or 8) then I would buy a PC so I could use my CS2 still.
I appreciate any ideas, opinions or experiences that can help me to decide which computer would help me best.
Restating; if they won't work on the newer PCs then I'll get an Mac. If they will work on newer PC then I'll get a PC.

I believe I have CS2 running on my Win7 Pro x64 desktop system (might be through the XP mode virtual machine, though), but I can't recall the last time I tried to use it.
That said, your old installers will not work because the CS2 activation servers have long since been shut down. See Adobe - CS2 Downloads

  • Adobe CS2 will not work in Leopard

Did you know *_Adobe CS2 will not work in Leopard?_* I found out the hard way that Leopard doesn't cost $129; It's $729, because CS2 will not work so you need to upgrade to CS3. This is straight from Adobe support (albeit in Manilla). I can find no documentation on either site that warns you not to upgrade to Leopard if you're running CS2. I am dead in the water until CS3 arrives. Nice move Apple and Adobe. I usually like to get kissed first.

I'm using Adobe Photohsop CS1 and it is working. There are a couple of little glitches, but nothing major. And whenever there is a major system upgrade you can ALWAYS figure there are some things that are going to break, which is why it is a good plan to install a new system on a new drive or second partition. AFAIK the things that don't work and will never work are Photoshop 7 and Elements 2.

  • I have CS2 and am interested in buying CS4,or CS5, or CS5.5 used. Will my serial number from my CS2 work for an upgrade version?

Like to own hard copy CS at the cheapest possible price.
CS2 will not work with Lion.
I'm looking at used CS4 upgrade discs that are for sale.
Will my serial number from my CS2 work for the upgrade?

There are no upgrade paths from CS2.
If you purchased used software you're pretty much on your own. Much of what is sold on places like eBay or Craigs List doesn't have valid licenses. Caveat emptor.

my Extensis suitcaseX 11.0.4 is no longer working with my system OSX10.6.8, what is the best and cheapest font management software to use that's compatible with this system and my existing CS design software?

If you upgraded to Snow Leopard, then it would seem that Suitcase 11 is not compatible with Snow Leopard and you'd need to buy Suitcase Fusion 3 for $99.95.

Photoshop was the last version compiled for the PPC cpu, not Intel. 10.6.8 kept it going with the Rosetta emulator, gone since 10.7.
    So, no CS2 won't work under 10.10
CS6 (permanent license) or Lightroom and Photoshop | Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan is the way to go.

  • HT3231 transfer files to my new iMac system 10.8.3, 9 pin firewire. Apple sold me FireWire 9-6 with a Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter.  This will not work, do i need a different cable?

    Apple Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter
Then it sounds like the FW800 to 400 adapter just gets in the way. You don't have FW800 case? on my MDD G4 I added and used FW800 controller and cases from OWC and Sonnet.

  • Will this work to determine the system byte order?

I need to be able to determine, preferably without relying on conditional disable symbols, whether the system on which a VI is run uses big-endian byte order.  What I came up with was to flatten a U32 containing 0xDDCCBBAA to string using the unknown system byte order, and unflatten using a big-endian byte order.  If the pre- and post-flattening U32's are equal, the system must be use big-endian byte order.  Two questions:
    1. Will this work?  It recognizes, correctly, that my PC does not use big-endian byte order, but I don't have any big-endian targets to test it out on (see #3).
    2. Is there a better way?  Perhaps something already built into LabVIEW?
    3. Would somebody with a big-endian target verify that my VI detects it as big-endian?
    Thanks,
    Mark Moss

You can simplify your VI a little.  Since you know what the result of the string flattening should be in big endian, just compare the string.

  • Applyed EHP4 in all system except SolMan,will this work or required in SolM

    Hi Experts,
we have upgraded the SP13 to SP18 for ERP and NetWeaver.  On to this we have upgraded the EHP4 for ERP and NW in ECC, BI and SRM and Portal system. We have not upgraded the EHPs in Solman System.  Now my concern is that is it necessary to upgrade the SOlMan system with the EHP (same as other systems) or not required??
As we are having SLD in solman and lots of other configuration like CUA (Central User Administration).  If we will not apply the EHP in solman and apply only in the other system will that work fine??
    Thanks
    Narpal Singh

    Hi,
It is not necessary to upgrade to your solman to EHP1. But it is always recommended to upgrade to latest patch level.
    Thanks

  • Nudge function with arrows will not work in PS cs2

I recently installed photoshop cs2 on my pc with windows vista home premium. And the nudge function will not work using the arrows. Is there a work around for this?

so your saying that if it's fake...that specific function is a common flaw ?
    Exactly!
Unfortunately the full thread recounting this saga got lost in the forum changeover, but the fake copies come in authentic looking shrink-wrapped boxes with printed documentation; and everything works except the nudge.
    Or sometimes other keyboard combinations.

I purchased Photoshop CS5 for my windows vista operating system. I purchased a canon 7 D some yrs ago no problem. I purchased canon 7D mk 11 in December 2014. The supplied software will not work with vista. Photoshop CS5 will not accept canon7D mk11. Can someone please tell me how i process canon 7D mk11 photos ?????. (is it possible to bypass camera raw and open the photo straight into CS5 without using camera raw first. if so how do i do that. if not how do i process pictures).
    Thank you.
    Brian in the UK.

Photoshop by itself cannot process raw image data. That is why the Camera Raw plug-in was developed. You could try the DNG converter and convert your images to the DNG format and then the Camera Raw that you have would be able to open them. I can't recommend Lightroom because you are using Vista, and Lightroom 5 cannot be used with that operating system. It may be time for you to get a new computer and upgrade your software.

Apple states that (of the MBP lines) it has to be from Mid/Late 2007 or later.  yours seems to be right on the line.
    Apple says
If you are running Lion, you can find out if your current Mac qualifies by clicking the Apple icon at the top left of your screen, choosing About This Mac, then clicking More Info.
you must also have the latest version of Snow Leapord or Lion

speaker on phone calls will not work, how can I fix this? I have already done system restart and reset to manufature default. I also have no voice with Safari or any other apps including music!

If your speaker is broken, then you may need to get a repair done.
Are you unable to hear anything at all, or is it just one speaker in particular?
If it is just one speaker, where's it located?
