Will current Apple TV continue to work?

I understand that a software upgrade will NOT be available for current ATV's, to make them into new ATV's. Next question: will current ATV's continue to work the same as they do now?

i wouldn't expect them to suddenly stop working.
purchasing content isn't being removed from the itunes store, so i would expect the current appletv to continue "as is".

The iPad update will in no way affect your 3G, no matter what iOS version you have on the 3G.

Extended vacation with no internet - will Creative Cloud apps continue to work?

I will be working from locations that have little or no internet access for a couple of months. Since my computer will not be connected to the internet during that time, will my Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom continue to work, or will they shut down when I reach the end of the currnet monthly cycle?
If they will shut down, is there a way to prevent this so I can continue to use the apps during this trip?

Note that since Adobe's new CC version came out in June, now an Internet connection is only needed once every 99 days for annual memberships:
"For annual members, you can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode"
Another interesting approach (suggested by Kendall Plant elsewhere) is to install the software on a second machine:
"An alternative solution for this is to install one or more applications on a secondary computer with regular network connectivity, say, a personal laptop. Since the Creative Cloud license allows for use on two devices, you could complete the monthly license check via the applications on your secondary computer. Doing so would validate your whole memberhsip, and all devices/applications linked to it."
Another solution is to buy a year (or more) of Creative Cloud in advance using a pre-paid 12-month membership card... Then no online checks would ever occur or even be necessary.

Will the Apple 30 Inch display work with my MacBook pro? Confused!!

thinking of getting a used Apple 30 inch display to go with my MBP, but not sure if it will work at the correct resolution. Ive read you need a Duel Link DVI cable, but I have Thunderbolt not mini-display port. My MBP is early 2011 (think), so I am really confused. The 27 Incher with thunderbolt would be good too, but they are too expensive for me.
Graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6490M, 16mb RAM. 10.6.8.
I would really appriciate any advice !

I am replying to my own post here, but i have made excellent progress and wanted to let any other viewers in the same boat, know the solution.
Basically, the Duel Link DVI cable from Apple (£70 / $99) is the bad boy that works. My confusion was Thunderbolt, but apparently Thunderbolt IS ALSO a DVI port ! So, buy the 30 incher on Ebay or off a mate, and BANZAI ! done. Glorious res of about 2560x1600pixels is awesome!
The only downside here is that it might be too big LOL !!!!

Will my Mac Book continue to work after spillage?

I spiled a large amount of tea on my MBP on 17 March, it shutdown immediately. I tried booting up the next day and it would not, so I then brought it to an Apple technician for a diagnostic. I was told it would require a new battery, powerboard and keyboard, all costing as much as a new one to purchase. I decided to go ahead and make the new purchase, until yesterday the 25th, when my husband pressed the power button and it started up without any trouble. It has been working fine since then, except that I have to use the charger as the battery will not charge. My question is, will the machine stay working like this, or will hidden problems occur and cause it to deteriorate over time? I am just looking for some advice as to what is the best to do going forward, thanks in advance.

Will the Apple Digital AV adapter work for the DISH Remote Access app?

I have a Sling adapter hooked up to my 722K DISH receiver, and the DISH Remote Access app installed on an iPad 2. Great app, btw.
What I'd like to know is if I'll be able to use this AV adapter to watch my recorded shows on a TV. Hotel room situation, and I would just like a larger screen every once in a while.
So far, my understanding doing some searches here is that the adapter will work for Netflix, but won't for HBO GO (bummer).
Since I'll be phasing out Netflix soon anyway, and this adapter isn't going to work for HBO GO content, I am just wondering if it will for the Dish Remote Access app before I bother to buy one.
If not, is there something that would be a better choice? I did look at the component and composite cables too, but couldn't quite make up my mind.

I have an apple iphone which is deactivated and I'm wondering if even though I don't receive the messages because I don't have a cellular service connected to it anymore will instant messages sent to my apple id from other apple devices still send to it? My concern is people will send messages that obviously wont be returned but will still show to them as being received.

The support article referenced says to insert the SIM Card from my new phone in the old phone. That won't work since I have an iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S uses a different size SIM card.

Try booting in Safe Mode by holding your Shift key down when booting. Also, try holding the eject key down when booting to eject the DVD. If you plug a mouse in and hold the clicker down when booting, that should eject the DVD.

however, the some of the currently published code will break when mme servers are to shut down; unless apple comes up with a patches by then.
most of mme features can be replaced and fully implemented on other host servers.

Since I can't upgrade a PowerBook G4 beyond Leopard (OSX 10.5), I'm not able to migrate MobileMe services such as Mail to iCloud. Although I understand the .mac and .me email domains will continue to exist, it's not clear whether my Mail App (Mail 3.6) will still work. Has anyone found a KB posting or other info that addresses this?

I don't believe this is correct. The configuration for the iCloud mail server is published in the KnowledgeBase.

However, does this mean my purchases will be split into 2 accounts; or does the fact that I currently see everything under my apple id (regardless of the purchased by username) mean this will all still appear in my current account as it does now?

If you currently have two accounts (the AOL username account and an email address account) then you will continue to have two accounts, and nothing should change when you update the AOL account to be an email address (apart from how you access that account).
You will just be renaming the account to have an email address for accessing it, not creating a new account.

Nothing will be gone or wiped. Yes, your purchases remain tied to the existing AppleID, but you can create as many new AppleIDs as you wish (or at least, as you have email addresses for) and use a different one for each apple service.
So you can continue to use the current AppleID for the iTunes and App store, and create a new one for iCloud and iMessage (or even use a third one for iMessage if you wish to).
That is probably the optimal thing for a family or spouses - one shared AppleID for purchased content, separate AppleID(s) for iCloud/iMessage and other services (like these very forums).

when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email
