I'm a bit confused by your question.
You say you have synced with your iMac, and that you have match turned on. If match is turned on you can't sync music any more.
Are the purchases new, or old ones?
Can you confirm that match is turned on on both the iMac and the iPhone.

Itunes stops playing on Windows 7

I have just installed the most recent Itunes 64 bit for Windows 7 (10.6.1.7)
Itunes stops playing after about 5 songs if there is nothing else running. If there is another program running, it happens after a minute.
Everything seems to work except music playback. The play/pause command can be clicked but the progress bar won't move and no audio plays.
The problem also occurs when Itunes is started in Safe Mode and also when a new library is created.
I must close and restart to hear music another 4-5 songs before the situation repeats.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

itunes wont play anything.i hit play and it goes to pause but does not count down.im guessing it is because of the update that i did to itunes.please help.

I am having the same problem and that didn't fix it.
I purchased a new laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded the install file. When I double click the icon nothing happens.
I Downloaded the install cleanup utility and ran that (nothing with itunes in it).
I Downgraded the UAC to the lowest security setting.
I re-downloaded the install file and tried again.
I deleted all the temp files in the user file folder.
I made the install file compatible with Windows Vista (SP 2).
Still nothing. I double click (or right click and run as administrator) and nothing happens.

Burned CDs from iTunes purchases play in some stereo units and not others

My car stereo has no problems playing CDs I've recently burned from itunes purchases. My wife's car stereo can't! She doesn't have an ipod dock in her 9 year old car so it's CDs or nothing. Anyone have any ideas why the discs won't play in her car but do play on every other CD player (including my PC) that we own?
Her car stereo has no issues playing other CDs, including CDs I've burned from itunes which were originally uploaded from CDs by me.
It seems to be the most recent three purchases from itunes that are the problem. Do I need to convert the AAC files back to MP3 before burning or some other clever cheat?

ITunes purchase plays in iTunes but not iPod nano

I apologize if this question has been answered and I was unable to find it in a couple of minutes of searching this site and the iTunes help.
I recently bought a 2GB iPod nano. Initially I just used it to listen to MP3s I already had, but recently I bought a song from the iTunes store. I can listen to the song using iTunes / my computer. I can put it in a playlist and sync that playlist with my nano. I can "see" the song on the nano playlist, but when the nano goes to play the song it hesitates for a moment and then goes to the next song.
I have the latest iTunes, the latest iPod software, and I have done a restore to the nano and the nano still won't play the song.
I'm guessing the fix is real obvious, and I simply can't figure it out. Can someone point me in the proper direction?

If you have made sure that both the iTunes and iPod software are current and have deauthorized and reauthorized your computer, try this test:
1. Deauthorize the computer.
2. Create a new user in the system.
3. Download the free song of the week from the iTMS in the new user account.
4. Play the song in that user account to authorize again.
5. Restore the iPod (using the iPod updater) in the new user account.
6. Sync just the free song of the week and see if it plays on the iPod.
If it does, you appear to have a corrupted iTunes library file, and you should recreate the iTunes library file in your normal user account, and then sync your music back to the iPod and all should be well.

Why aren't my previous iTunes purchases playing on iPhone 4s?

Apple replaced my original 4s due to the spontaneous volume increase issue. I backed up my iPhone to iCloud and restored the phone using that backup. I learned from a previous restore that I have to connect my phone to my PC to ensure all of music is loaded to the phone. When I saw that there were 582 items to download from the iPhone's iTunes, I decided to connect via USB to finish loading my music.
Since that restore, I purchased one album and it plays without problem. Last night I decided to play an album purchased one month earlier and iTunes won't play it. In fact, there are very few songs (all purchased on iTunes) that will play. This is very frustrating as I can see my albums but when I select "play", nothing happens. It seems to only play the last album I purchased *after* the restore. What can I do? I'm away from home until tomorrow so I can't reconnect to my PC containing my library :)

Have you signed into iTunes on the Mac with your Apple ID?

Mp3 does not play in iTunes but plays in Windows Media Player

Dear group,
iTunes will not play a particular group of mp3s I have but the same mp3s play fine in Windows Media Player.
Winamp cannot play them either.
I've searched the net a bit and found many mentions of it but no solutions which work for me.
Also, these same mp3s are on my iPod and they play fine.
Any clues what is causing this bizzare problem? The files are not wma do not have DRM or anything like that.
I have tried reinstalling iTunes and Winamp.

Do the tracks import into iTunes even though the will not play? If so try selecting a track, then go to Advanced>>Convert ID3 tags and select None.
If that allows the track to play you can select multiple tracks to convert.

How to make itunes purchases play on a different computer...

Ok, I got a new computer, and I want to get all my music videos on it, but when I hooked my ipod up to it... it wouldn't allow any of them to play on this computer. I checked my itunes store account stuff and it said that the purchased items could only be played on one machine. So, since I registered the account on my OTHER computer, the only way I can get them back is by buying them... AGAIN??? PLEASE help me. I'm clueless o_O and very anxious!!!
P.S. It's a 30g ipod video, if thats any help...

...Ok... see, when I plugged the ipod into my new computer, and went on itunes, it said the ipod could only be synchronized on one computer (which was the other one) so of course I could get the songs back easily, I just needed my videos. So, of course, I tried the option of copying purchases onto the computer but it said one or more files were not authorized to play on tis computer blah-dee-blah, and so on.
and I told you the rest... so if i haven't a clue what you mean, i need further explanations...

2.1 update and no iTunes purchases play

I finally gave in and updated, hoping the bug fixes had everything ... fixed. I installed 2.1 and none of my videos, movies, or music purchased from iTunes plays. My uploaded cds play fine... Ideas? I am trying to restore now.

Well I was just messing around with it and I realized that it is only one of my videos that is not working. One that I bought from iTunes about 2 weeks ago. And I know that I have watched it on my iPod before so I don't know what the problem is. Maybe the file went corrupt for some other reason. But, all of my other videos go on fine.

Itunes purchase wont stay off my phone

I'm running iOS 7 on an iPhone 5s. Old song purchases wont stay off of my phone. I've unselected 'show all songs', 'automatic download', etc... I've logged off from iTunes app, and re-logged on. This technique has made the songs "go away", but once I shuffle songs or connect to bluetooth, these songs reappear. I cannot figure this out. Any hints?

After a restore, the iOS device restarts. You should then see "Slide to set up". Follow the steps in the iOS Setup Assistant.
If needed, restore your device from a previous backup.

I have 1 mac and an iPhone4. If I can not stream my iTunes Match music from my phone, what advantages does this $25 purchase have over the Free Google Play service? I'm interested in whichever option can play the most music on demand without taking up space on my phone.

Windows 8 phone bluetooth/WiFi printer support

Do you have or will you have any apps for Windows 8 phone to allow printing to bluetooth or WiFi printers directly. I have HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer and HP officejet 6500A and can find no help either from Microsoft or Nokia currently to allow me to use Nokia 928 with these printers. (HP Print Control?)
I understand HPePrint and use it to print moblily with QuickBooks Online. I also use the mobile printer in my truck with an Android device using PrinterShare.
I was trying to upgrade all of my devices to Windows 8 and ran into the problem of no HID support with Windows 8 phone. Microsoft is indicating no desire to include HID in operating system and say that it is a function of manufactures to supply apps..etc.
I would like a response from your prospective because I have about a week left to return the phone if I can not print to a local printer, bluetooth preferably and or WiFi.
