Will Elements 5.0 work with Windows 8?

Since upgrading to Windows 8 I seem to have lost the Organizer facility on Elements 5. Can anything be done about it?

Pse 5 should work with windows 8.
Have you installed the 5.02 patch for pse 5?

If windows 8 is an upgrade over your old operating system, maybe you should consider reinstalling photoshop elements 5.

I am finally updating my Windows XP desktop to a Windows 8 laptop.  Will my ipod classic work with Windows 8?  I've seen a ton of problems from other users with regard to compatibility.

Do yourself a big favor. Switch to Windows 7. (Or buy a Mac.)

  • Will the Linksys WRT160N work with windows vista at all?

Will the Linksys WRT160N work with windows vista at all?
Some one please clear this up for me, it could be answered in the simplestterms from the English Language of course.
I've recently purchased the Linksys WRT160N however after purchase "of course"I manage to find reviews stating that the router will not work with the WindowsVista Premium, or windows Vista for that matter.
E.g.(Comments like These 'which are not my own')----------
"When I tried it with a new computer running Vista 64, it would install but the Linksys System Advisor would not. After 1 chat and 4 phone calls with support the system will still not run."
"It is a good product with XP, but if you use Vista 64 good luck. After several hours of working to get it running my patience and options have run out."
"It has taken almost a week for us to figure out that the Linksys Router, WRT160N from Best Buy does not workwith Vista Premium. I looked on-line to Linksys Website and discovered that the router, WRT160N is notsupported for Vista users. .."
E.g. (CommentContradicting to what has been said above)------
"Bought this to replace my outdated Linksys (new Vista laptop) and was blown away. Thisthing practically set itself up. It replaced the wired router and wireless routers I was using, asthe signal strength is awesome. I'm still pulling over 5meg ... "
So I guess one could see why I am confused, based on the 2 sidedcontradictions pertaining to this router actually working with windows vista ornot.
So can someone respond (preferable a Vista User) and tell me the truth as of towhat this router can an cannot do in terms of Vista? Thanks

It should work with vista without any issues if you are running any software on the computers (64 bit) from linksys it may not work but if you will connect that computer with an ethernet to the router it should work fine.

Will LabVIEW 8.0 work with Windows 7?
    Thanks in advance.

According to this kb, LV2009 is the first version to be supported in Windows 7.  We have had problems getting LabVIEW 8.6 to just install in Windows 7 machines.  You might be able to get it to work, but I would recommend upgrading your version of LabVIEW if you really need to use Windows 7.

  • Will hp officejetpro 6830 work with windows 10?

will hp officejetpro 6830 work with windows 10?

Windows 10 is still in th pre-release stage and it is not published yet what will be supported, I expect this will happen in the next month as the July 29 release nears.  HP's site here will have compatibility information, check back in late July for information. That said, I would expect that current printers will be suported in Windows 10.  The current public Windows 10 Build 10130 does have a Fax driver for the Officejet Pro 6830 and print drivers that would be compatible as well.

  • Will Acrobat Pro 7 Work with Windows 7?    It did NOT with Vista.

I create fillable forms using Pro and have never had any problem getting Acrobat Pro to install the PDF driver with Windows 6 or XP.
However, I have tried every "solution" offered by Adobe to get the driver to install on my new notebook which runs on Vista.  I have also downloaded and installed both Vista service packs.  The driver still will not install,
Without the converter driver, I cannot do a substantial portion of my work on the new computer.
I was going to upgrade to Acrobat Pro 8 but found out from other irritated users that Pro 8 also failed to install the driver using Vista.
Am I the only customer who thinks there is really shoddy support from Adobe on this issue?
I am willing to upgrade to Windows 7.  However, if Pro fails to work with Windows 7 like it did with Vista then the upgrade would be another waste of my money.  If we cannot depend on Acrobat Pro to work on the Windows platform, my company (5000+ employees) is going to have to find other software.
Has anyone had success getting Acrobat Pro (7, 8, OR 9) to install the PDF converter driver with Windows 7 ?
    Thanks!

What is the "method" to get around issues with Windows 7 64bit?  My XP machine failed and I've bought a new one running Windows 7 64bit.  I'm trying to get a credit card statement, but I can't read it because the  downloaded Acrobat 9 I'm trying to install - won't install. Something about it not being "compatible" with Windows Vista and 7 operating 64bit.  How long has Vista been around?? - at least a couple years. Why hasn't Acrobat been able to get "compatable" in all this time??  Right now it seems I'm screwed because I unknowiing bought a 64bit machine.
I've been told at work that the answer is to get some sort of similated 32bit operation going that Acrobat can handle. Can you please tell me how to do that? I'd really appreciate your help.

  • Will the deskjet 1010 work with windows 10?

I'm going to upgrade to Windows 10, just checking to see if my Deskjet 1010 is going to go there with me. Currently running this on Windows 7. The Deskjet 1010 is perfect for the little bit of printing I do, I don't want to change printers if I don't have to.

Hi, Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum. As mentioned here :  Most applications and hardware drivers designed for Windows 7 or later should work with Windows 10 Windows 10 is not officially released yet. Unless officially released drivers, no official support is present. At the moment, no official guarantee can be provided. However, I am sure it will work properly. Windows 10 should recognise it automatically.

The specs say works with XP or Windows 7.  Does this mean they do NOT work with Vista?

Presumably because so many people still use XP.
That said, Photoshop CS6 will be the last version to support XP.

  • Will Labview 6.0 work with windows 7 32 or 64 bit

We have a machine here at work which is set up running labview 6.0 with windows 98. The pc on the machine is WAY too old. We are looking to replace it and I need to know if this version will run on windows 7 (32 or 64 bit OS), or do we need to run an older OS.
Thanks in advance  for any help.

Did you try a search? http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/10383#toc1
So, the official answer is no. The practical answer? Maybe. If you can get it to install, that is. Please do a search on installing previous versions of LabVIEW on Windows 7, as this question has also been asked many times.

  • Will Mavericks server ever work with windows 7?

I want to buy a new content server for our small business. Today we use snow leopard server on a Macmini and it is running stable, but we are growing and need to have a faster system and faster diskaccess and I have been looking at a solution with Macmini with thunderbolt pegasus raid. On the paper it looks really interesting, fast and it would be great for our small business! ....BUT.. I have read tons of forums with people having problems with windows compatibility.
We use both Mac and PC in a small environment and the most IMPORTANT thing we need is a shared disk that work flawlessly with both windows and Mac. I do not need lots of other osx server features as mail, ftp, etc etc...
So, Will Maverick server ever work as a content server with windows 7 professional client computers? Or should I go for a windows server (I rather not since I do not like windows)?  Or maybe a NAS-server is a better sollution for content sharing/shared workdisk?

Hi jcar, thanks for writing in!  While the Canon BJC-80 printer will not work with the Windows 7 operating system, we have plenty of printers that are fully compatible! Please feel free to click on the link below to explore some Canon alternatives; we hope this helps!

  • Will my HP Printer work with Windows 10 ?

Are you considering upgrading to Win 10, will my printer work?” So you are considering upgrading to Windows 10 or you have Migrated to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or 8 and you now think will my Printer work as it used to? Microsoft and HP worked together to make the 'upgrade to Windows 10' process as smooth as possible...this included migrating the previous OS (WIn7 & Win8.x) driver & software to Windows 10 during the upgrade. In many instances, this should go smoothly and user should NOT have to do anything... The device should be connected and working.. However, in those instances that it's not, or they need to install software/drivers, they can download the drivers/software from hp.com and install (or re-install) for their product on Win10 Please note : If your device had full supported (not just basic print or scan)in Windows 7 or 8 then your device is supported, but may not immediately show up on hp.com for Windows 10: Please download the Win8.1 drivers and use those (they have been tested and worked with Win10)  For further information on Windows 10 and Printing see these links Inkjet Printers Windows 10 Support Laserjet Windows 10 Support

Thank you so much for your reply and help on this matter. I thought HP would have the updated drivers for Windows 10 but I have to use my printer everyday and didn't know how long it would be before the updated drivers would be available or when the final version of Windows 10 will be released. I'm scheduled to install Windows 10 on my laptop on the 29th. Wonder if I should cancel my reservation and wait till I know for sure HP will have the drivers ready to install on my printer? Again, THANKS for any help you have and can provide on this matter!!

  • Will Adobe Flash 8 work with Windows Vista?

I was just wondering whether anyone knew whether the new
WIndows Vista will work fine with Adobe Flash 8?
    Thanks

nervous is not how i would describe it - more like confused
and innacurate. We have no choice for
creative content solutions? I use at least 2 other animation
    programs for starters. There's also
Corel and Painter and well, I could go on when it comes to
    graphics editors.
There's also Camtasia as oppsed to Contribute.
True Adobe now dominates the market, but often times the word
    "monopoly" comes with negative
connotations - Photoshop, AFter Effects, Flash and other
products have become so universaly standard
mostly because they deserve to be based on their features,
stability and because we chose to use
    them over other products.
But I also agree with you, Adobe is now the one-stop-shopping
for almost anything a creative person
would need. I just wouldn't say there are no other choices. I
    combine other animation software
almost everyday for things that flash falls short on.

  • Will virtual XP mode work with Windows 7 installed with Parallels Desktop 5

I've just installed Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro with Parallels Desktop 5. I've installed the necessary software for virtual XP mode but can't get it to work.....like running a virtual mode within a virtual mode. Just wondering if anyone has been able to make this work. I've read it will work by installing Windows 7 through Bootcamp but it would be more convenient if I could get it to run through Parallels.
    Here's what I have:
    MacBook Pro 13"
    2.56GHz processor
    4G memory

I suggest you post your question on the Parallels forum, as it's their software you're having issues with and it is not related to Macs or any compatibility issues between Mac OS and Windows, which is the focus of this forum:

  • Will a pavilion a1737c work with windows 7 64 bit

The HP Pavilion a1737c came with OS Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32 Bit,   AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core processor 4200+  2.20GHz,  2GB Ram,    Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE Graphics  and  320GB HD. Will this computer run Windows 7 64 Bit well.

Here are the specs for your HP Pavilion a1737c Desktop Computer. I have a HP Pavilion Media Center a1632x Desktop Computer that has very similar specs as your computer. Same chipset, though yours is socket AM2 and mine is socket 939... yours is a couple of months newer with a slightly faster CPU and slightly faster DDR2 memory. I installed 4GB of memory... upgraded from the factory 1GB. Mine runs Windows 7 64-bit in this configuration without any issues and it does it surprisingly well.
Only thing you may want to change later... is a new video graphics card, which may require a new power supply.
