Will fonts created in an earlier form (Pages/Word) show up when imported?

Hi,
If i create a form in Pages/Word with eg: Century Gothic or Gill Sans and would like to import that form to Adobe Acrobat Pro to continue my form before saving it as an editable .pdf. Will the Fonts be the same then?

Hello - I have the same problem with embedding images to send to windows users. I can see images if I email my self, but I use a Mac Mini. When Windows users open the email, they are reduced to attachments to open.
Frustrating, if you find an answer, please share. I just sent in request to support community.

Is there a setting that allows me to disable having all my most recent pages visited showing up when I open a new tab?

This is what I did, hope this helps you:
# type about:config into the address bar
# Agree to not break anything at the prompt!
# Type "tab" in the search field at the top of the list
# Find the line that reads: browser.newtab.url
# Change the value to "about:blank"
# Close the config!

How can i create a simple netweaver portal page that shows text and images?

i have a simple question or maybe it's not so simple.
I am completly new to SAP Netweaver 2004s Portal. At the moment i'm trying to understand the struture of the whole thing. I already know how to create roles, worksets and pages and i know how to combine the different elements so a user can acces them.
And now i want to create a simple portal page that shows text and images. Is it possible to create such a simple page with the portal content studio? What iView do i have to use?
(I just want to create a start page with a welcome text on it.)

Considering that you would any ways go ahead with complex development from this simple start page I recommend create a Web dynpro Iview for your start page (include the Iview in your page).
For putting the contents use Netweaver Developer studio to build a simple start page application and put your static text on that Iview.

Perhaps you have set the margins so tight to the edge of the paper that you have gotten into the non-printing area for your printer. Most printers have a dead zone.
What are your margin settings?

How do I get the metadata for a page to show up when I Google search?

When I search for my website on Google, the description that shows up is the actual content of the page. I had it set previously to where the metadata for the home page would show up in the description. But now I edited the information in the metadata and that no longer shows up. I dont think I changed any other settings...what do I have to do in order to get the metadata to show up? Please help, thank you! (I tried attaching screen shots to this post but it wasnt responding...)

2 weeks ago, Firefox changed. It will not print graphics in a web page or show them in print preview. It also does not provide the ability to select options in "print forms". they are now grayed out.

I am using www.investools.com
It prints the graphics in the normal page fine
but when I switch to prophetcharts, which loads javascript, the graphs do not display or print.
The text on the left side of the display show but graphs do not, even when I reduce printing size to 30%.
I am using an HP 8500 Pro Officejet.
Everything works in IE fine (but I don't want to use IE).

Is there a way to hide pages and show them when selected in a combo box?

I'm creating a document that has different forms for different states. Ideally, I would like to select a state from a drop down and then show the corresponding form(s) associated with that state. Anyway to do it in Acrobat 9.0 Pro?

Don't templates only work as spawning several copies of the same form?
Or you can just have certain information spawn to locations on various
other forms?

New tab page only shows icons when I open a new window, not when I open additional tabs within existing window. Help!

When I click the + sign to open a new blank tab, I don't see any of my favorite / pinned websites. I can only see this when I start a new browser window, and only for the "landing page". Once I go to any other page, I can not get my new tab page with tabs to display.

I fixed it. I went into about:config and had to change browser.newtab.url to about:newtab

Pie chart created in edge animate changes to a square animation when imported into dps

I Have created an animated pie chart in edge animate and all works fine.
I then import into indesign and again all looks fine (even though at this stage it is a flat image) but when i export for dps and preview folio etc the animation turns from a circle to a square.
Anyone have any pointers or experinced the same problem etc?

The top image is a screen shot from edge and what it should be like, and the bottom image is of when you preview it in dps
Also when i view this in browser via edge animate and then preview it seems fine and as you can see on the bottom image when i import the oam into indesign again it is fine but then when I come to preview my 'folio it turns the animation from a circle into a square.
Also if its any help, the animation works perfectly if exported by epubs and viewed through ibooks.

Why does only 1 page out of my three page document show up when i try to print on pages?

when I try to print my 3 page document, it only shows and prints the second page. Also, when i saved it as a pdf and on preview, it did the same thing. I also tried to copy the first and last pages onto a new document, they showed up as blank. HELP!

What version of OS X? (Apple menu, first item)

Create a DNG file that does not show changes when viewed by others

I am adjusting my RAW Images in Adobe Lightroom and want to export them as DNG without betraying the evidence of my post production efforts- is there a way to save an altered file as a DNG without showing the client which changes I have made when they open and review the files in CS3 (bridge/camera raw)?

The raw data itself is not affected by the adjustments, only the metadata. This means, that the adjustments you made are recorded in the DNG file in XMP format, which is quite clear-text, like

As this can be seen by anyone, who knows where and what for to look, you need to have ACR record the adjustments in XMP sidecar files (which is a better way anyway, you can archive the original file and the adjustments separate).

Vraag: Since I pointed out dont show again on the page that shows up when I want to mark text (yellow) and change the page to 600 dpi , it does not work anymore....... What did I do wrong???

Ik begin een discussie, ik scan documenten, daarvan wil ik gedeelten geel markeren. Dan komt er een box in beeld die aangeeftd at de pagina naar 600 dpi gewijzigd wordt, dat duurt even en dan kan ik markeren. Althans kon markeren, sinds ik het boxje laat niet meer zien aanvinkte werkt het niet meer. Ik vind er ook geen info over wat zeer irritant is. Opnieuw opstarten helpt niet.....

How to create different login form pages using Extranetlook

Hi,
I would like to have different login pages in order to let users access to different sites created with Site Studio. The Extranetlook component comes with a default one, login_page.htm but if I change this file, then this login page is used for all users in the whole Content Server. Our requirement is to have different login pages, one per each site, and let the default one to let users access just the Content Server, not the sites.
We created a custom login form page copying the login_page.htm file and then modified the redirecturl input field (<input value="/oursite/" type="hidden" name="redirecturl" />). This only works when the login is successful. When the login is incorrect the user is redirected to the default login_page.htm. In that case, we would like to redirect the user to custom login form instead of the default one.
In fact, I'm afraid I don't understand well the relation between the login_page.htm within the component, the login_page.htm file that resides in <ucm-installation>/data/users and the extranetlook.idoc file.

While not resolving issue with multisite login page, i can tell the relationship among component login_page, data user login_page and ExtranetLook.idoc.
So according to component readme.txt ExtranetLook.idoc is used to construct user data login_page (i've checked it). So any customizations made to its dynamic html sections are reflected into that file - and it is the which being showed in browser. The component one is used as initial one.

Creating more than one record in a form page

I created a form page on a table, when I add data and press "Apply Change" the data saved but still exist in the form.
How can I clear the form so I can add more data.
