Will google toolbar work with Firefox 8?

I am using Firefox 4.0.1 and never upgraded because Google Toolbar won't work with Firefox 7. Has this been resolved with Firefox 8?

Firefox has Google Shortcuts addon instead in newer versions.

I needed to upgrade to Firefox 4.0+ for an add-on that I really needed. However, I can't use Firefox 5.0, as I randomly checked 3 add-on's I had: "Firefox PDF", "Delicious Bookmarks" and "After the Deadline", and none of them worked with Firefox 5.0. In fact, I will have to download alpha versions, etc., to get these add-ons to work with Firefox 4.0.

Why won't Norton Toolbar work with Firefox 23.0.1?

Norton Toolbar 2013.4.1.2 is disabled and no option to enable is available. I have updated my Norton 360 with all the latest upgrades. Norton's site says it has updated it's software to be compatable with Firefox 23.

I am unable to connect to Google via Firefox or Safari. Google wont even work on my iphone. I can access other websites from my bookmarks but Google just wont work. It says it is busy or to check my settings but as I am able to connect to other sites, I think the problem is just with Google.

i use google toolbar bookmarks feature with firefox version 3.6.18. will this feature work with version 4 or 5.
i tried updating to version 5 and could not get this feature to work.

Google needs to update the Google Toolbar program for Firefox 5.0.
The Google Toolbar '''7.1.20110512W''' version does work pretty good in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension. But not every feature works 100%.

i did not see a solution posted - I tired what I read. Going back to an old version may solve the problem but it is a stupid solution so I have yet to do that.

Uninstall version 5, then Google "google toolbar version 4", follow the link to FileHippo.com, and download and install the last version 4. When you reinstall it, make sure you turn off the option to perform automatic updates.

It's not going to happen. Google announced withdrawal of their Google Toolbar.

Why is trendmicro toolbar not working with firefox 4

Having upgraded to firefox 4 I now find that the my antivirus trendmicro toolbar doesn't work with firefox 4. This of course makes me very reluctant to continue using firefox because of security reasons. If you have a solution to this problem then please let me know asap.
