Will I loose the warranty if I change the hard drive?

hey everybody
i'm intersted in buying a macbook pro and would like to replace the biult-in hard drive by a SSD.
will this affect the warranty?

Of course your new SSD won't be covered by Apple (it will be covered by the manufacturer).  You should hold on to your original hard drive just in case you ever need to send your machine into Apple for service.  It is not uncommon for them to replace the hard drive when servicing the machine... even when it would seem there was no reason to do so.  They typically will not send the old drive back to you.  You wouldn't want them to keep your nice SSD.
