i am moving to another state and am concerned that when i connect with another provider my current mailbox and folders will belost. will this happen, and if so, how can i save my current mailbox?

Yes. Before you can change the country on an account, the balance must be zero. If it is not zero, you can contact iTunes Customer Service, who will kindly reset it to zero for you.

My daughter and I share an apple ID. WHen I did the IOS7 upgrade a message pooped to include her. I misunderstood and thought it was just to keep our ID's the same. She was then getting my txt messages and able to access my phone contacts and pictures. I want to either change her or my ID. THere's a long messy story behind it but at any rate I want to know if I would lose my music if I changed the ID. My phone is also used as my work phone so infomration is highly confidential.

The music purchased from iTunes cannot be transferred to another Apple ID, but it is important to note that you can use one Apple ID for the iTunes and App Stores and a separate Apple ID when logging into iCloud, FaceTime, and Messages. You may want to continue sharing the Apple ID for the iTunes and App Stores, but I definitely recommend having a separate Apple ID for iCloud, Messages, and FaceTime.

Additionally, your Apple ID may be signed into your child's Messages and FaceTime settings. You can check the settings for Messages and FaceTime on your child's device to sign out of your Apple ID:

Next, I recommend signing out of iCloud on your daughter's device. You can do this by deleting the iCloud account from her device and then signing in with the new Apple ID:
On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

I am planning to change internet providers on my macbook pro at home. I currently have verizon and my iphone email and my apple id is a yahoo email linked to the verizon account.

Yes you will be unable to use your email address after June 30, 2012, if you do not update your MobileMe account to an iCloud account.
You can upgrade your account and continue to use the email address in your mail application by entering the details manually. You will not however be able to use any other features of iCloud.

Changing internet provider - can't connect to Internet

Hi,
I've changed my internet provider (from Bell to Videotron), so from a modem plugged into my phone line to a pure cable modem.
My laptop (Macbook Pro) doesn't connect to the wi-fi anymore. I connected my cable modem to the time capsule... the light on the capsule flashed (amber) then turned into green (which is good), my computer sees my wi-fi name as available network, but internet is not working.
I assume this is because I have now adifferent IP? But shoudn't the time capsule recognize automatically the new IP?

I plugged the Etherent cable directly into my laptop and I can connect to internet without problems.

You need to completely reset the modem. Push the reset button if it has one and power it off for at least 15-20 minutes. Pull the battery if it's easily accessible.
(Cable modems "remember" certain devices, and they must lose their memory before they can connect to a "new" device).
Power off the rest of your network as well.
Start the modem after the power down period and let it run for a few minutes by itself. Then start the Time Capsule and let it run a few moments. Then start your computers one at a time.
Sometimes, you must call the ISP to have them reset the device on their system if this is not successful.
Please post back on your progress.

Safari won't open some pages after changing internet provider

Since I changed my internet provider Safari decided not to work. Not sure if it is just a coincidence or not. I have been looking for solutions on the forum and test some suggestions but I getting nowhere.
I have reset Safari several times, empty cache, clear history and I still can not open Google, Gmail, Facebook, Youtube as the main ones but it opens Twitter. I get no error messsage or anything, it just hangs and sometimes I go to make a cup of tea and when I get back google.ie is open.
Another thing that I notice is that I have a message saying "The google safe browsing Service is unavailable. No updates 110 days" I tried to untick and re-start Safari but I still ahve the same problem. I'm not sure if it has anything to do or not.
The strange thing is that I have another imac and macbook but the problem is only on this one. Chrome just crashes a lot so if I could get my Safari back would be great. If anybody has a suggestion I would really appreciate because I spent hours and I'm getting no results at all.

I use Firefox and a website that I visited showed I need internet explorer to view. Will I lose my firefox if I download Internet Explorer?

Unless you are in the EU, you should have a version of Internet Explorer already installed. Have you looked in the Start > Programs or All Programs menu?
Installing or upgrading IE shouldn't have any effect on your Firefox installation, except possibly the "Default Browser" setting in Win7 which is easily changed.

Firefox won't open after changing internet provider

changed from Comcast to TDS internet service and now my firefox will not open, but explores does, any suggestions. I have downloaded the most recent version.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

ISE change of VLAN for wireless endpoints

Hi,
I have configured posture policy on ISE for posture compliant and non compliant end points such that, posture compliant end points will fall in clean VLAN and non compliant will fall in other.
Now, my issue is, even if an end point is posture compliant it is not getting placed in clean VLAN. For getting ip address from clean VLAN, it requires ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew to be manually done.
how to resolve the issue..

At the end of a posture process(NAC agent informs ISE about compliant status) the endpoint already grabbed an IP address on the VLAN is placed as per WLAN settings.
If at this point you push down an overriding VLAN attribute in access-accept(compliant or not) the WLC will successfully switch the client to the new VLAN, but there is no way to force the client to go through DHCP release/ renew.
The only way to trigger something like this after the endpoint grabbed an IP address in old VLAN is to redirect the endpoint back to one of ISE's portals ( CWA / DRW ) and then trigger a VLAN DHCP release renew through java applet. This is the solution salodoh is referring to.
That is the reason why we always recommend dynamic VLAN assignment only as a result of a layer 2 authentication( when client didn't grab an IP yet) .

Apple can't provide support for AOL Username accounts that aren't converted by March 31, 2015. The conversion process applies only to AOL Usernames. To resolve this error, I recommend completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all of its related components using these steps:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
