I assume that if I buy an iPhone 5s (or 5c) then iWork would be listed as a "purchased" app in my itunes store under my account. My iPad retina is in the same account... or are keynote, pages, and numbers completely seperate between ipad and iphone? I know they would be a seperate purchase for my Powerbook. Thanks.This sounds like the kinda thing Apple support might be able to help with. It's possible they might be able to merge the 2 accounts or switch user names around or something.
Apps and Protected music files are locked to one account. I don't think there is any way you(personaly) can transfer and/or updated them on a different account. -

Launch iTunes with the iPad connected to your computer.
Select the iPad under Devices in the source list left side of the iTunes window.
Select the Summary tab from the menu.
Deselect: Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi
Quit then relaunch iTunes.

Well, if you didn't keep it in your iTunes library, on your computer, & then back that data up, you're out of luck if it's no longer available in the App store.
Apple warns to backup your purchases for this very reason. -

Well, if you are in India, and are using a credit card registered there, and associated with your userid and the India app store you should be able to purchase an app from that app store.
If you are in the UK and attempting to purchase from the India store you may not be able to even connect...you might try and see if you can and what happens. -

I am volunteering in Haiti, when I try to update apps, says I am in the Vietnamese store. I went to settings for my apple id, which still list USA? How do I switch stores, when it appears I am in the US store?
If you have Location Services turned on turn this off, then follow steps below:
Go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Your_Apple_ID>View Apple ID
When you tap your Apple ID and select View Apple ID you'll need to enter your password, once done you can change the Apple Store.
