Will I-Tech Virtual Keyboard work with iPhone 3G??

Hi, I was wondering if the I-Tech Virtual Keyboard (http://www.virtual-laser-keyboard.com/) would work with the iPhone 3G. Thanks!

I went to use the MMS App I downloaded for receiving pics etc... I got a message from Apple saying it is incompatible with OS 3.0 and if I wanted to continue using it, then download 3.0 later. Right! I will get rid of MMS and get 3.0!

  • Why doesn't the virtual keyboard work with firefox on my dell venue 8 pro windows 8.1 tablet?

When I try to enter text in any text-entry box, i.e, in the url , search, or on a website, the virtual keyboard doesn't activate. I have to manually activate and deactivate it. It works for Google Chrome, but sadly not for firefox, my preferred browser. The tablet is up-to-date with the latest drivers and updates.

Thanks for the reply. No, it's the virtual keyboard that is integrated into window 8.1. I haven't installed any 3rd party keyboards

  • Will the Apple Camera Connector work with iPhone?

I have an Apple Camera Connector that I have been using with my iPod to store pictures on my iPod until returning home where I download them to my iMac. Will the connector work on iPhone?
My iPhone is on order, so there is no way for me to try it for myself.

Nope, it seems that for the most part, the only things that work are those that tapped into the audio exports. Anything that required the interface of the iPod to change or added a new menu item (including all mics, the FM Remote, etc) doesn't work.

  • Will a Palm portable keyboard work with iPad?

I have a portable Palm keyboard that I use with a Palm TX. I want to know if it will work with an iPad, Does anyone know? Thanks

Palm has made a number of wireless keyboards and not all of them were even compatible with all of the different models of Palm handhelds. Different model keyboards required different drivers based on the OS version of the handheld. The one you have may well workwith an iPad or it may not, you will need to try. But I would not get my hopes up.
I can tell you that the Apple BT keyboard works a treat with my iPad 2 and the two look smart together.

  • Will the nike+sport kit work with Iphone 3G

will it work the Iphone 3G?

It would be really nice if the packaging made this a bit more explicit on the front of the box (rather than simply the microprint on the side). What a joke.

  • Will Privia PX-100 keyboard work with Garageband?

A friend is selling a Casio Previa PX-100 MIDI keyboard. It doesn't have USB, but I was hoping to use a MIDI-USB converter cable. Anyone had any luck with this keyboard or ones similar?
    Thanks,
    Alfredo

We're having what may be the same problem with a Casio PX-400R. See topic "Casio Privia Keyboard and Garage Band". Another discussion on the topic is "how do I find out if a keyboard is compatible."
We have a usb and a midi output. We've only connected with the usb device cable and the keyboard is not recognized. We found a store with a midi interface, but hesitate to spend the money if it is not likely that will solve the problem. Mac is not listed as one of the drivers on our Casiso CD listing of downloads so we think using a Casio with a Mac may be a no-go.
Our Casio manual only references outputting to a "computer". We're still holding out some hope.
If you have a midi cable and try it, we will be interested in the results.
    good luck.

will the airport extreme work with Iphone 4 and Ipod 3 gen without a pc or mac.

You can setup an Airport device using the Apple Airport Utility for iPhone
Download it for free in the App Store on your iPhone...
It's under "Utilities" and the "Top Free" utilities.

  • Iphone will not charge via usb-to-computer nor via brick; I've tested with two different cables. Just before this problem arose, I got messages similar to "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone."

Most of my concern is in the subject line. I probably should've saved some content to include here. Allow me to elaborate:
While traveling with the tiny brick, I got a message on my 3GS phone that "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone”; however, the charger was working fine with another phone and with an iPad.
I tested alternatives by removing and re-inserting the cable (obviously, as I tested other devices), changing wall receptacles, shutting the phone off (all the way), all to no avail.
When I got home, I plugged a different cable--one that was connected to my iMac rather than the brick--into the my 3GS; it still didn't charge.
So, I'm hypothesizing that perhaps some debris (from a pocket?) got into the charging receptacle of the 3GS and is disrupting the connection. Perhaps there are other hypotheses.
I am reluctant to do a reset, as (a) the problem doesn't appear to be a software issue (the phone and software are all working, though the charge is declining) and (b) I don't want to lose the contents before I can sync it (now that I'm home, again).
I'd welcome suggestions. Meanwhile, I suppose I shall e-mail photos and notes from the phone to myself before I lose the remaining charge.

Try to clean the 30-pin receiver slot either by blowing air into it or using a microfiber cloth. If the problem persists, based on what you've already said, I'd say the problem is most likely hardware, and would need to be replaced or repaired. I hope your iPhone is still under the 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty, or if applicaable extended warranty. You can check by calling AppleCare National iPhone Technical Support at 1 (800) 694-7466.

  • Will any iPod charger work with iPhone

Does any (Apple) iPod charger work with iPhone? I would like to charge the phone in different places without carrying the wall charger with me all the time. I got my regular iPod charger and was hoping that I can use it. I noticed that the wall charger that comes with the phone has a lower amp rating than the iPod charger I have. I would think this shouldn't make a difference unless everything else (e.g., the connector wiring) is the same.
    Does anyone know for sure?
    Thanks

I believe so. Check this link http://www.apple.com/iphone/questionsandanswers.html scroll to the section Accessories for iPhone and read the first one.
I'd imagine if there was a problem they would have mentioned it. Also, if it makes you feel any better, I've been using iPod charger to charge my phone and so far it's been working fine.

  • "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone"

I have a first generation iphone. It recently started showing a message that reads:
This accessory is not made to work with iPhone
Would you like to turn on Airplane Mode to reduce audio interference?
You will not be able to make call during this mode
    YES NO
There is no accessory in the phone. Any thoughts on how to stop this behavior?
I tried reloading the OS and it didn't help.

I was having the same problem and it was draining my battery! After reading a couple of threads I was resigned to take my 1st gen iphone to the genius bar to see if they could do something. Before going to the bar I took off my pics, videos, movies, podcasts, and some applications in preparation for my visit. That night the problem stopped. This had been happening for about 3-4 weeks so I could replicate at will. After removing things from the phone when I tried to replicate the problem it would not happen. So I then started to re-sync things one at a time. After re-syncing everything but the applications I still could not replicate the problem. My feeling is that one of the applications, or combinations of, was causing the issue. I have not re-synced all the applications at this time because I am happy to have my phone back. Hope this helps.

  • Will DM v4.2.2 work with a new BB Storm?

I have been trying -- and failing -- for two weeks now to "fix" Desktop Manager v4.7 so that it will sync with my new Storm.  One error after another.  I've tried every single "solution" I could find on BlackBerry.com and CrackBerry.com and absolutely nothing works.  DM v4.7 simply will not permit me to CONFIGURE synchronization, let alone actually synchronize a thing.  With no contacts or calendar on the Storm, it's worth less than a bad cell phone.
I'm running on XP Pro SP3, Office 2003.  Several folks have reported that downgrading to DM v4.2.2 has solved a lot problems they've had with v4.7.  My question is simple: will DM v4.2.2 work with a new Storm or am I just destined for another failure experience if I go to the time and trouble of clean un-installing v4.7 (yet again!?!?!) and downloading/installing v4.2.2?  If v4.2.2 won't work, is there ANY other version of DM that will work with a Storm or is v4.7 the only show in town?  (If it is, the show just closed.  iPhone, here I come.)  Would appreciate any advice and counsel you can give me.  Thank you!

You're welcome. Apple does sell camera connection devices for lightning connectors so you can look into that if you want to.

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Until it "Works With iPhone"

While you're waiting for those "Works with iPhone" 3rd-party devices to show up on the shelves, these two suggestions may help (#2 is the big one):
    1) By now you've probably figured out that you can make almost any headphone plug fit the iPhone by removing about a 1mm ring of plastic or rubber with an X-Acto knife. If you don't trust your surgical skills on that $200 pair of headphones, buy a cheap headphone splitter and modify it instead, then plug your headphones into it.
    2) If you've given up on your powered speakers or FM-transmitter because of the squeaky noises, try this: Radio Shack sells a "Ferrite Data Line Filter", Part Number 273-105, for under $6. It's a little plastic box that snaps around your cable and blocks most (maybe not all, but most) of that GSM squawk when your sweetheart calls or your phone is just trying to find a new tower. The filter needs to be near the iPhone end of the cable. If you build up a little section of the cable with foam or tape to about a pencil diameter, the box will grip and not slide. If you loop the cable through twice, you won’t need the padding and the loop may actually improve the filtering.
I tried this on a road trip from Atlanta to Richmond and only really noticed the GSM buzz while I was passing through downtown Richmond. Something about signals bouncing around between tall buildings, I suppose. For most of the trip it worked great, and even in downtown Richmond the buzz was greatly reduced. It’s still a good idea to keep the phone as far away from the radio or speakers as possible.
This device is available at most, but not all, Radio Shack stores. Go to the Radio Shack website and they will tell you which store near you carries this part number.
Combining suggestions 1 and 2: If you attach the filter more or less permanently to a headphone splitter, you will have a removable filter that your friends can check out on their iPhones.
Caveat Emptor: This may not work for everyone. If it doesn't, you're only out six bucks, and it won't harm anything.
    Enjoy!
